Forming management decisions in organizational systems on the basis of simulation of their activity

The methodological problems of designing a decision making system based on the discrete model of collective, purposeful, and regulated activity are considered, the information and functional models are presented, and the principles of formation of the hierarchy of objective functions (criterions) are described, the general algorithm for solving the problem, possible methods of multicriteria optimization and parametric synthesis in a complex organizational system are given, the design of a simulation model of the system and its computer implementation is presented.     

Temperature Dependence of the Resistivity for Metal-Oxide Semiconductors Based on Tin Dioxide

Polycrystalline films of SnO₂ and films in the SnO₂–In₂O₃ and SnO₂–ZnO systems, which are of interest for use in gas-sensitive sensors, are grown from metal chlorides on a 22-XC ceramic substrate by the hydropyrolytic method. The dependences of the resistivity for metal oxide films based on tin dioxide are measured in the temperature range 200–400°C. The distribution of phases in the samples prepared is examined using electron probe X-ray microanalysis. It is shown that the specific features in the temperature dependences of the resistivity for the semiconducting metal-oxide films grown can be associated with their microstructure and the environmental condition. The temperature dependences of the resistivity for all the metal-oxide films studied exhibit a semiconductive behavior.     

Effect of particle size on the amount of residual austenite in atomized high-speed steel powders

Conclusions The presence of -phase and decomposition of martensite in fine particles as a result of heating by large particles alter the relative intensities of the austenite and martensite lines. Because of this, determination of the amount of residual austenite in a fine fraction by the existing x-ray methods gives low results. A more accurate estimate of the amounts of residual austenite in fine and coarse particles is obtained by measuring the areas of corresponding austenite lines.Translated from Poroshkovaya Metallurgiya, No. 11(275), pp. 6–8, November, 1985.
