Providing integrated access to multiple, distributed, heterogeneous databases and other information sources has become one of the leading issues in database research and the industry. One of the most effective approaches is to extract and integrate information of interest from each source in advance and store them in a centralized repository (known as a data warehouse). When a query is posed, it is evaluated directly at the warehouse without accessing the original information sources. One of the techniques that this approach uses to improve the efficiency of query processing is materialized view(s). Essentially, materialized views are used for data warehouses, and various methods for relational databases have been developed. In this paper, we first discuss an object deputy approach to realize materialized object views for data warehouses which can also incorporate object-oriented databases. A framework has been developed using Smalltalk to prepare data for data warehousing, in which an object deputy model and database connecting tools have been implemented. The object deputy model can provide an easy-to-use way to resolve inconsistency and conflicts while preparing data for data warehousing, as evidenced by our empirical study. 相似文献

Two 4-bit active phase shifters integrated with all digital control circuitry in 0.13-mum RF CMOS technology are developed for X- and Ku-band (8-18 GHz) and K-band (18-26 GHz) phased arrays, respectively. The active digital phase shifters synthesize the required phase using a phase interpolation process by adding quadrature-phased input signals. The designs are based on a resonance-based quadrature all-pass filter for quadrature signaling with minimum loss and wide operation bandwidth. Both phase shifters can change phases with less than about 2 dB of RMS amplitude imbalance for all phase states through an associated DAC control. For the X- and Ku-band phase shifter, the RMS phase error is less than 10o over the entire 5-18 GHz range. The average insertion loss ranges from to at 5-20 GHz. The input for all 4-bit phase states is typically at -5.4 plusmn1.3 GHz in the X- and Ku-band phase shifter. The K-band phase shifter exhibits 6.5-13 of RMS phase error at 15-26 GHz. The average insertion loss is from 4.6 to at 15-26 GHz. The input of the K-band phase shifter is at 24 GHz. For both phase shifters, the core size excluding all the pads and the output 50 Omega matching circuits, inserted for measurement purpose only, is very small, 0.33times0.43 mm2 . The total current consumption is 5.8 mA in the X- and Ku-band phase shifter and 7.8 mA in the K-band phase shifter, from a 1.5 V supply voltage. 相似文献

All-optical logic gate based on parametric processes in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguides is a promising technique in future high-speed all-optical signal processing. A simple realization of switchable or/xor logic gates at 40 Gb/s is proposed and numerically demonstrated using sum-frequency generation in a PPLN waveguide. By appropriately adjusting the input signal power and choosing the waveguide length, or and xor logic gates can be obtained. The operation performance is simulated, including eye diagrams and Q-factor. 本文首先提出了一种挖掘频集的高效算法PP。它采用了一种基于树的模式支持集表示,避免了反复扫描数据库和递归建造个数与频繁模式数相同的模式支持集,其效率比Apriori和FPGrowth高1—3个数量级。PP被进一步扩展成发现分类规则的有效算法CRM-PP。CRM-PP将多支持率剪裁集成到频集发现阶段,将二阶段挖掘法改进为单阶段挖掘法。CRM-PP的效率也比基于Apriori和FPGrowth的二阶段算法高1—3个数量级。 相似文献

This paper investigates the structural characteristics of templated synthetic anti-ferromagnetic (SAF) magnetic nanoparticles fabricated on two different release layers. When copper was used as the latter, the layered structure of the SAFs was found to be disrupted with wavy multi-layers due to the formation of copper grains from the release layer. By introducing oxygen into the copper release layer before the deposition of the film, the topography of the oxidized copper grains was effectively controlled. The next generation aircraft engines are designed to be lighter and stronger than engines currently in use by using carbon fiber composites. In order to certify these engines, ballistic impact tests and computational analyses must be completed, which will simulate a “blade out” event in a catastrophic engine failure In order to computationally simulate the engine failure, properties of the carbon fiber and resin matrix must be known. When conducting computer simulations using a micromechanics approach, experimental tensile, compressive, and shear data are needed for constitutive modeling of the resin matrix material. The material properties of an Epon E862 epoxy resin will be investigated because it is a commercial 176°C (350°F) cure resin currently being used in these aircraft engines. These properties will be measured using optical measurement techniques. The epoxy specimens will be tested in tension, compression and torsional loadings under various strain rates ranging from 10?5?to?10?1?s?1 and temperatures ranging from room temperature to 80°C. To test the specimens at high temperatures, a specialized clear temperature chamber was used. The results show that the test procedure developed can accurately and quickly categorize the material response characteristics of an epoxy resin. In addition, the results display clear strain rate and temperature dependencies in the material response. 相似文献
