The Chevrel phase (CP), Mo6S8, was found to be an excellent cathode material for rechargeable magnesium batteries. Mo6S8 is obtained by a leaching process of Cu2Mo6S8, which removes the copper. A new method of Cu2Mo6S8 production was developed. In contrast to the well-known solid-state synthesis of CP, the method is based on the reaction in a molten salt media (KCl). A fast kinetics of this reaction allows using less active, but more convenient precursors (sulfides instead of sulfur), decreasing temperature and synthesis duration, as well as operation in the inert atmosphere instead of dynamic evacuated systems. It was shown that the composition and the electrochemical behavior of the products obtained by MSS and by the solid-state synthesis are identical. Thus, the molten salt method is extremely attractive for the large-scale production of the active materials for Mg batteries.  相似文献

We describe the preparation and characterization of a photonic crystal filled with a luminescent conjugated polyelectrolyte, sulfonated poly(phenylene ethynylene). The conjugated polymer was coated onto the nanospheres by the layer-by-layer method and assembled directly into a fluorescent opal structure avoiding the defects associated with post-filling schemes. These structures exhibit strong angle-dependent luminescent properties. By using multiple layers, we further demonstrate control over the emissive bands of the opal.  相似文献

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is used to characterize thin p-doped polypyrrole (PPy) films in propylene carbonate (PC) solutions and poly(trifluorophenyl)thiophene (PTFPT), in solutions based on sulfolane (SF). It appears that the latter film is much less swelled compared to the former one. One consequence of this difference is that the PTFPT film shows a much higher bulk resistance compared to that for the PPy film. Another important consequence is that the swelling of the PTFPT film is essentially physically non-homogeneous. Two parallel, uncoupled paths, with different chemical diffusion coefficients, model the experimental results adequately. In order to quantify the impedance spectra for both polymer films, we use a model proposed by Rubinstein et al. explaining the difference in the diffusion coefficients of Ru(bpy)3+/2+ 3 within a thin Nafion film. The model can also predict the impedance spectra for composite powdery electrodes containing different particle sizes, such as composite cathodes and graphite anodes used in lithium batteries.  相似文献

Two compounds containing 1,3‐benzodioxin groups are reported, namely (±)‐6‐tert‐butyl‐8‐hydroxy­methyl‐2‐phenyl‐4H‐1,3‐benzodioxin, C19H22O3, (I), and 2,2,2′,2′,6,6′‐hexamethyl‐8,8′‐methyl­enebis(4H‐1,3‐benzodioxin), C23H28O4, (II).The hydroxy groups of neighbouring mol­ecules in (I) are hydrogen bonded to each other, giving rise to double‐row chains. The mol­ecule in (II) adopts a `butterfly' conformation, with the O atoms in distal positions. In both compounds, the dioxin rings are in distorted half‐chair conformations.  相似文献

Mössbauer studies of dilute57Fe and151Eu in RMn2Si2-xGex (R=La, Sm, Eu and Gd) at temperatures 4.2 K to 480 K have been performed. The diamagnetic iron and europium reveal the magnetic order of the Mn and rare earth sublattices through transferred hyperfine interactions. The57Fe studies show that in LaMn2Si2, LaMn2Ge2, and SmMn2Ge2 the Mn is magnetically ordered above the known Curie temperatures, and the compounds are antiferromagnets up to TN=470 K, 415 K and 385 K respectively. Studies of151Eu in R1-xEuxMn2Si2, (R=La, Gd) display Eu subspectra corresponding to Eu2+, Eu3+ and intermediate valant Eu. All display large magnetic hyperfine fields.  相似文献

In this study, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers with ethyl vanillin as an active compound were prepared using electrospinning technique. The final products of electrospinning process were in the form of nanofibers films. PVA/ethyl vanillin nanofibers, having fibers diameters in the range 100–1700 nm, were successfully electrospun from ethanol/water mixture of PVA and ethyl vanillin. The effects of immobilization process on ethyl vanillin thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results of DSC showed significant influence of immobilization process on thermal properties of ethyl vanillin. It was noticed that melting point of immobilized ethyl vanillin was lower (~55 °C) compared to free flavor (~77 °C). Our results showed that films based on PVA/ethyl vanillin nanofibers are mechanically stable.  相似文献

Low band gap D‐A conjugated PNs consisting of 2‐ethylhexyl cyclopentadithiophene co‐polymerized with 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole (for nano‐PCPDTBT) or 2,1,3‐benzoselenadiazole (for nano‐PCPDTBSe) have been developed. The PNs are stable in aqueous media and showed no significant toxicity up to 1 mg · mL?1. Upon exposure to 808 nm light, the PNs generated temperatures above 50 °C. Photothermal ablation studies of the PNs with RKO and HCT116 colorectal cancer cells were performed. At concentrations above 100 µg · mL?1 for nano‐PCPDTBSe, cell viability was less than 20%, while at concentrations above 62 µg · mL?1 for nano‐PCPDTBT, cell viability was less than 10%. The results of this work demonstrate that low band gap D‐A conjugated polymers 1) can be formed into nanoparticles that are stable in aqueous media; 2) are non‐toxic until stimulated by IR light and 3) have a high photothermal efficiency.
