通常, Ce离子掺杂的低密度玻璃有较高的发光效率, 而高密度的Ce离子掺杂玻璃其发光效率很低. 为了解释这一现象, 采用高温熔融法获得了SiO2-Al2O3-Gd2O3三元系统的玻璃形成区, 并在还原气氛下制备了Ce3+掺杂SiO2-Al2O3-Gd2O3以及SiO2-Al2O3-Gd2O3-Ln2O3 (Ln=Y, La, Lu)闪烁玻璃, 研究了其光谱和闪烁性能. 测试结果显示: 随着Gd2O3含量增加, 玻璃紫外截止波长发生红移, 荧光强度降低, 衰减时间缩短; 加入Lu2O3, La2O3, Y2O3后, 紫外截止波长发生红移, 荧光强度降低, 衰减时间变短; 当Gd2O3超过10% mol时, X射线荧光积分光产额从相当于锗酸铋 晶体的61%降低到13%. 荧光强度降低、衰减时间缩短的原因是随着玻璃的紫外截止波长红移玻璃的能带宽度变窄, 使得Ce3+离子的d电子轨道开始接近玻璃的导带, Ce3+离子受辐射后跃迁到d电子轨道的电子会通过导带与玻璃中的空穴复合, 产生电荷迁移猝灭效应.  相似文献

熔制了掺铒碲铌玻璃样品(100-X)TeO2-XNb2O5(X=5,10,15,20 mol%),测试了其密度、折射率、转变温度、析晶温度、维氏机械强度、吸收光谱、荧光光谱、荧光寿命等参量.利用Judd-Ofelt和McCumber理论分别计算了铒离子强度参量Ωt (t=2, 4, 6)和受激发射截面σemi的大小,研究了掺铒碲铌玻璃样品光谱参量对Nb2O5成分的依赖性,并与典型的碲锌钠玻璃(75TeO2-20ZnO-5Na2O)在热学、机械强度、光谱性质和放大品行四个方面进行了比较.  相似文献

The thermal properties of 68TeO2-15BaF2-5SrF2-10LaF3-2KF glass were measured by different temperature analysis (DTA). Up-conversion luminescence of Er3 ion in the obtained glass was investigated. Mechanism of up-conversion emission was discussed. The result shows that the obtained oxyfluoride tel-lurite glass 68TeO2-15BaF2-5SrF2-10LaF3-2KF has a good thermal stability (△T = 153.6℃) and strong up-conversion green emissions around 527 nm and 549 nm and red emission at 660 nm. This glass can be a promising host material for up-conversion fiber lasers.  相似文献

Energy storage and heat deposition in Cr,Yb,Er co-doped phosphate glass were reported. A model based on rate equations was used to determine the energy storage from the free-oscillating output energy characteristics. The heat deposition was calculated by measuring the temperature rise of the glass rod. The results provided important information for the glass operating in Q-switched mode, and also for calculating the temperature profiles and cooling requirements of the glass under single shot and repetitive pulsed conditions.  相似文献

We investigate the absorption, stimulated emission cross section and potential laser parameters of Yb^3 doped gernano-silicate glasses (GSY glass). The emission cross section is evaluated by using the measured absorption spectra and the principle of reciprocity. It is found that Yb^3 in GSY glasses has high stimulated emission cross section of 0.5-0.65pm^2 near 1020nm and exists long measured fluorescence lifetime of 1.20-2.00ms. Compared with other glass hosts, the GSY glass exhibits excellent general spectroscopic properties for Yb^3 -doped double-cladding fibres.  相似文献

Strong upconversion luminescence of Er3 /Yb3 -doped lead halide tellurite glass under 976nm excitation is demonstrated. Three emission bands centred at 525 nm, 545 nm, and 655 nm resulting from the transitionsfrom the excited states 2H11/2, 4S3/2, and 4F9/2 to the ground state 4I15/2, respectively, are observed evenat 60mW pumping power. The power dependent intensity and the upconversion mechanisms responsible forthe luminescence are evaluated and discussed. The obtained results might provide useful information for thedevelopments of upconversion lasers.  相似文献

Er3+-doped fluoride lanthanum aluminosilicate glasses with compositions of (65- x/2)SiO2 · (25 -and their glass transition temperatures and spectroscopic properties were investigated. The Ω2, Ω4, and Ω6 intensity parameters of glasses were calculated by Judd-Ofelt theory from absorption curves. It was found that glasses transition temperature and melting temperature decreased with the increase of fluoride content in glass, Ω2 decreased gradually with the increase of AlF3 content, but both Ω4 and Ω6 did not increase until AlF3 content increased to 30 mol%. The quantum efficiency of 4I13/2 to 4I15/2 transition of Er3+ ions increases with the increase of AlF3 content in glass. Fluorescent lifetime is longer in glass containing more AlFa content.  相似文献

Upconversion fluorescence emission of Er3+-doped oxyfluorosilicate glass excited at 975 nm is experimentally investigated. The results reveal that the intense green and red emission, and weak blue emission centered at 525, 543, 655, and 410 nm, respectively. A two-photon upconversion process is assigned to the green and red emission while a three-photon process is responsible for blue upconversion. The possible upconversion mechanisms are discussed based on excited state absorption and energy transfer between excited Er3+ ions. The intense upconversion fluorescence of Er3+-doped lead oxyfluorosilicate glass may be a potentially useful material for developing upconversion optical devices.  相似文献
