Reducing Thermal Effect in End-Diode-Pumped Laser Crystal by Using a Novel Resonator

We report a new way, i.e. double-end-pumping, to extend the stability range of a laser resonator, in advantage of making the thermal loading be effectively divided between the ends of the laser crystal to reduce the thermal effect, thus to extend the stability range. Using this new way, we experimentally obtained a 2.7-W cw laser source at 671 nm by intracavity frequency doubling of 1342nm ofa Nd:YVO4 laser based on the nonlinear crystal LIB3O5. The maximum pump power is 28 W, which is higher than 13 W of the single-end-pumping.     

V型腔腔内和频产生3 W连续波589 nm黄光激光器

报道了双Nd：YAG棒串接V型折叠腔腔内KTP和频全固态黄光激光器，得到了3 W连续波589 nm黄光输出.为了提高黄光输出功率，采用了两种手段：一是通过优化腔型设计使得两束基频在腔内达到了最佳的空间重合，二是通过选择合适大小的二极管激光器的抽运功率使得两束基频在腔内达到了最佳的功率配比. 关键词： 全固态激光器 Nd：YAG激光器 黄光 腔内和频     

4.6-W compact and efficient NdAl_3 （BO_3）_4 thin-disk laser

The capabilities of a compact and highly efficient NdAl 3 (BO 3) 4 (NAB) thin-disk laser are demonstrated.Under a pump power of 8.2 W,the NAB disk laser delivers an average output power of 4.6 W at 1 063 nm,with a slope efficiency of 64%.The difficulty and complexity of the thin-disk laser design are minimized by the high absorbance of the NAB crystal.To reduce the thermal effect,low repetition frequency pulsed 885 nm direct pumping is considered an efficient way to realize a compact and highly efficient NAB thin-disk laser.     

大模场光子晶体光纤激光器研究获得新进展

大模场光子晶体光纤(Photonic Crystal Fiber,PCF)是通过设计光子晶体光纤的微结构来获得大模场单模面积的一种新型特种光纤．目前PCF的模场面积可以做1500μm^2以上,比传统单模光纤的模场面积大一个数量级,因此大模场PCF可以承受和传输更高的激光功率,并且具有高转换效率、高亮度、高光束质量等优点．同时利用PCF的微结构可设计特性,把大模场PCF的包层设计成高数值孔径的双包层结构,可大大提高泵浦耦合效率．     

Ce:BaTiO3自组织量子点制备及其非线性光学性质 *

报道了激光淀积法制备复合氧化物Ce :BaTiO₃ 自组织量子点 ,利用原子力显微镜、X射线衍射观察了自组织量子点的生长过程及其结构 .分别给出了量子点的尺寸分布、高度分布和面密度 ;讨论了复合氧化物自组织量子点的生长机理 ;利用单光束Z扫描方法研究了自组织量子点的光学非线性折射率 ,并讨论了影响非线性效应增强的因素 .     

Passively mode-locked grown-together composite YVO4 /Nd:YVO4 crystal laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror under 880-nm direct pumping

A passively mode-locked grown-together composite YVO 4 /Nd:YVO 4 crystal laser is demonstrated with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror by 880-nm laser-diode direct pumping.Under the absorbed pump power of 24.9 W,a maximum output power of 10.5 W at the repetition rate of 77 MHz is obtained,corresponding to the optical-optical conversion efficiency of 42.1% and the slope efficiency of 53.4%.The pulse width measured is 33 ps at the output power of 10 W.     

EFFECTS OF THE QUALITY OF SUBSTRATE ON THE STRUCTURE AND SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF Yba2Cu3O7-x THIN FILM

We have systematically investigated the structures, morphologies, microwave surface resistance, DC performances and the substrate qualities of three YBa₂Cu₃O_7-x(YBCO) thin films 30mm in diameter. The three samples deposited by the same process have been proved of different properties. It has been shown that the structure and superconducting properties of the thin film depend strongly on the quality of substrate.

激光分子束外延和关键技术研究

较为系统地介绍了一台激光分子束外延的总体结构和关键技术研究 .同时使用该设备和技术 ,实现精确控制原子尺度外延生长 ,获得原子尺度光滑表面的氧化物外延薄膜等实验结果 .     

激光二极管抽运掺钕钙铌镓石榴石激光器的研究

报道了连续激光二极管（LD）端面抽运的Nd:CNGG非均匀加宽激光器。当吸收抽运功率为675.5mW时，最大TEM00模输出功率为105.5mW、斜率效率为21.2％、光-光转换效率为15.6％。随着抽运功率的增加，三个中心波长实现振荡的次序为1061.3nm、1059.1nm和1065.6nm，实现了三波长同时输出。
