Financial management: Development of scales

This study is a contribution to the development of family resource management scales, specifically financial management scales. Principal axis factor analysis, with varimax rotation, is used to assess underlying relationships in 23 family resource management variables related to time and money resources. Reliability and content, construct, and criterion-related validity of the scales are assessed. Two scales that are reliable and have some degree of validity are developed: frequency of financial problems and frequency of financial management. The scales could be used in future research, teaching, or counseling to organize financial management concepts.Preparation of this research was supported in part by the Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station. Data were collected in conjunction with the cooperative regional research project NC-182, Family Resource Utilization as a Factor in Determining Economic Well-Being of Rural Families. Factors associated with expectation of household's future financial condition

Path analysis is used to examine the causal relationships among selected objective and subjective factors associated with a household's expectation of future financial condition. Results indicate that respondents who perceive the effect of changes in the external environment on their own household's financial condition as positive are younger, have higher net worth, perceive more internal control over their situation, and report that most of the changes in the external environment are positive. Respondents who are younger, have higher income, perceive more internal control over their situation, and believe the effect of changes in the external environment on their household's financial condition are positive are more likely to be optimistic about their financial future. It is important that educators and financial advisors recognize the significant role perception of being in control plays in determining expectations of future financial condition.Journal Paper No. J-15256 of the Iowa Agriculture and Home Economics Experiment Station, Project No. 2809. Gentleman bountiful: Repairing the patriarch

Illustrating a patient's use of the transference as a play-ground... an intermediate region between illness and real life through which the transition from one to the other is made (Freud, 1914), the author presents the case of a man in his late fifties attempting to transcend former male role stereotypes. Using the therapist as a transitional object, this patient experimented, both in therapy and in his social activities, with various patterns in relationships with women, becoming increasingly aware of his dominating benevolence and his concommitant denial of dependency needs. Several new ways for viewing both masochistic and acting-out behaviors are proposed, ways that lead to therapeutic responses tending to convert both to reparative regressions.     

Reducing Refusal Rates for Telephone Interviews

In two experiments, refusal rates to telephone interviews werenot affected by substantial changes in the introductory remarksof the interviewer. A prior letter significantly lowered refusalrates in a third experiment. In all three, interviewer sex hadno effect.     

信息不完全确定的区域产品模糊区间聚类方法

区域产品分类与选择是区域经济发展中最重要和最基础的工作.在产品选择与分类时,需要确定指标权系数和分类阈值等参数,这在实际应用中是比较困难的.针对这种情况,提出了一种信息不完全确定的区域产品模糊区间聚类方法.该方法构建了指标权系数信息不完全确定的最优模糊区间聚类模型,利用遗传算法和改进的FCM算法联合求解所得优化模型,得到指标权系数、最优聚类中心和最优划分,进而确定各产品所属类别.最后将该方法应用于某区域的产品分类和主导产品的确定中,实例计算说明该方法的可行性和有效性.     

家族企业可持续发展的路径选择研究

家族企业在全世界经济中占有重要地位。从各个不同角度研究家族企业可持续发展的理论问题,介绍家族企业可持续发展路径选择的SHEMP理论,并且探讨了此种路径选择与环境的关系:从宏观的角度进行家族企业可持续发展的PEST分析,进而提出在现有融资环境、诚信环境和职业经理人市场条件下,我国家族企业的选择路径。     

Minimal Tetrahedralizations of a Class of Polyhedra

Given a simple polyhedron P in the three dimensional Euclidean space, different tetrahedralizations of P may contain different numbers of tetrahedra. The minimal tetrahedralization is a tetrahedralization with the minimum number of tetrahedra. In this paper, we present some properties of the graph of polyhedra. Then we identify a class of polyhedra and show that this kind of polyhedra can be minimally tetrahedralized in O(n ²) time.     

帕金森病患者住院费用相关因素分析

为分析并探讨帕金森病患者住院费用的影响因素,该研究选取2009年1月至2015年12月在南京医科大学第一附属医院帕金森病住院患者320例,其中接受脑深部电刺激器（DBS）置入手术患者37例,非手术患者283例,根据H&Y（Holehn &Yahr）分级、年龄以及合并感染情况等对住院费用及住院时间进行分析比较。结果发现,非手术组帕金森患者年龄、合并感染情况及H&Y分级与总住院费用及住院时间显著相关。接受DBS手术组患者住院费用较晚期非手术患者显著增高（t=7.40,P<0.001）。高龄、合并感染及帕金森病晚期增加非手术帕金森病患者住院费用和住院时间。     

全自动分币系统设计

为了更高效地实现对硬币的分离计数,课题组设计了全自动硬币分币系统。系统采用曲柄连杆等机构设计分币装置：利用孔板对不同种类的硬币进行分离 ;采用Flexiforce压力传感器对硬币数量进行计量,并将计量结果显示在LCD1602液晶显示屏上;利用GPS/BDS双模定位模块对分币机进行定位与定时;利用MPU 9250模块测量装置的水平倾角,并利用2.4G无线通信模块将获取的硬币数量与币种信息以及装置安全信息发送给PC端监测软件。课题组研究了系统的软硬件设计 ,并给出了实验测试结果。结果表明：系统可以准确分离硬币并计数,且可以将计数结果发送至远程的PC端监测软件。研究对实现全自动化分币具有一定的意义 。     

经史之学与清代书院科举文教育

清代书院官学化,很多书院重视科举。有些书院虽从事科举文教育,但不唯之是从,而是将科举文教育与经史之学教育结合起来。此举上溯于中国古代社会推崇经史之学的优良传统,根植于孔子“博学于文”的思想主张,来源于以学术导向矫正利禄歪风的迫切要求。生徒只有学充养邃,才会眼界高、气味厚、笔力健。清代一些书院将科举文教育与经史之学教育结合起来,使得生徒学文不是局限于写作技巧的训练,而是拓展为与炼品、践行、培识的结合。这些书院通过教育,能够为社会培养有用人才。
