We report that linker ligand substitution involving just one atom induces a shape-memory effect in a flexible coordination network. Specifically, whereas SIFSIX-23-Cu, [Cu(SiF6)(L)2]n, (L=1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)benzene, SiF62−=SIFSIX) has been previously reported to exhibit reversible switching between closed and open phases, the activated phase of SIFSIX-23-CuN, [Cu(SiF6)(LN)2]n (LN=2,5-bis(1-imidazolyl)pyridine), transformed to a kinetically stable porous phase with strong affinity for CO2. As-synthesized SIFSIX-23-CuN, α, transformed to less open, γ, and closed, β, phases during activation. β did not adsorb N2 (77 K), rather it reverted to α induced by CO2 at 195, 273 and 298 K. CO2 desorption resulted in α′, a shape-memory phase which subsequently exhibited type-I isotherms for N2 (77 K) and CO2 as well as strong performance for separation of CO2/N2 (15/85) at 298 K and 1 bar driven by strong binding (Qst=45–51 kJ/mol) and excellent CO2/N2 selectivity (up to 700). Interestingly, α′ reverted to β after re-solvation/desolvation. Molecular simulations and density functional theory (DFT) calculations provide insight into the properties of SIFSIX-23-CuN. 相似文献

Abstract
The effect of sodium benzoate (SB) and sodium 4-(phenylamino)benzenesulfonate (SPABS) on the corrosion behavior of low carbon steel has been investigated using gravimetric method in the temperature range of 30–80 °C, velocity range of 1.44–2.02 m s−1 and concentration range of 6.94 × 10−4 to 4.16 × 10−3 mol dm−3 SB and 3.69 × 10−4 to 2.06 × 10−3 mol dm−3 SPABS. Optimization of temperature, fluid velocity, and inhibitors concentration has been made. The obtained results indicate that the inhibition efficiency (w IE %) at 1.56 m s−1 is not in excess of 81.5% at 4.16 × 10−3 mol dm−3 SB and 84.4% at 2.06 × 10−3 mol dm−3 SPABS. The inhibitive performance of these compounds showed an improvement with increasing concentration up to critical values of SB and SPABS; beyond these concentrations no further effectiveness is observed. These inhibitors retard the anodic dissolution of low carbon steel by protective layer bonding on the metal surface. The adsorption of SB and SPABS on the low carbon steel surface was found to obey the Freundlich isotherm model. The FT-IR spectroscopy was used to analyze the surface adsorbed film. 相似文献95.

A new, one-pot, three-component reaction for the synthesis of benzo[c][2,7]naphthyridines has been achieved from aromatic amines, aromatic aldehydes, and N-carbethoxy-4-piperidone in the presence of a catalytic amount of ceric ammonium nitrate in good yields at room temperature. The advantages of this procedure are mild reaction conditions, low toxicity, and the use of inexpensive reagents. Apart from milder and environmentally benign conditions, this method involves a simple, reliable approach to give good yields of the desired products and is compatible with a wide range of functional groups. 相似文献

Herein, we report that a new flexible coordination network, NiL2 (L=4‐(4‐pyridyl)‐biphenyl‐4‐carboxylic acid), with diamondoid topology switches between non‐porous (closed) and several porous (open) phases at specific CO2 and CH4 pressures. These phases are manifested by multi‐step low‐pressure isotherms for CO2 or a single‐step high‐pressure isotherm for CH4. The potential methane working capacity of NiL2 approaches that of compressed natural gas but at much lower pressures. The guest‐induced phase transitions of NiL2 were studied by single‐crystal XRD, in situ variable pressure powder XRD, synchrotron powder XRD, pressure‐gradient differential scanning calorimetry (P‐DSC), and molecular modeling. The detailed structural information provides insight into the extreme flexibility of NiL2 . Specifically, the extended linker ligand, L , undergoes ligand contortion and interactions between interpenetrated networks or sorbate–sorbent interactions enable the observed switching. 相似文献

The importance of Hadamard encoding pulses in one‐dimensional pure shift yielded by the chirp excitation version of selective total correlation spectroscopy (1D PSYCHE–TOCSY) experiments is discussed for chemical‐shift analysis of complex natural products at ultrahigh resolution. Herein, we adapted Hn Hadamard matrices to 1D PSYCHE–TOCSY and observed an overall circa square root of n‐fold enhancement in the signal‐to‐noise (S/N) ratio when compared to conventional 1D PSYCHE–TOCSY recorded by refocusing only one spin at a time. This enhancement in S/N facilitates the observation of very weak long‐range chemical‐shift correlations from Hadamard‐encoded PSYCHE–TOCSY (HE–PSYCHE–TOCSY). The proposed method will have a significant impact on structure determination of complex isolated/ synthetic natural products. 相似文献
