This paper investigates three kinds of permanent-magnet arrays used in planar motors with polarity centers distributed in the lattices of a matrix. The magnetic field of every kind of magnet array is analyzed by analytical methods. First, we give a Laplace equation of magnetic scalar potential and a series of boundary conditions. Then, we derive the analytical expressions of magnet field strength and magnet flux density in the air gap of each kind of magnet array by the method of separation of variables. We report the synthesis and characterization of monodispersed thermoresponsive hydrogel microspheres with a volume phase transition driven by hydrogen bonding. The prepared microspheres, composed of poly(acrylamide-co-styrene) (poly(AAM-co-St)) cores and poly(acrylamide)/poly(acrylic acid) (PAAM/PAAC) based interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) shells, were featured with high monodispersity and positively thermoresponsive volume phase transition characteristics with tunable swelling kinetics, i.e. the particle swelling was induced by an increase rather than a decrease in temperature. The monodisperse poly(AAM-co-St) seeds were prepared by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization, the PAAM or poly(acrylamide-co-butyl methacrylate) (poly(AAM-co-BMA)) shells were fabricated on the seeds by free radical polymerization, and the core-shell microspheres with PAAM/PAAC based IPN shells were finished by a method of sequential IPN synthesis. The microsphere size increased with increasing both AAM and BMA dosages. The increase of hydrophilic monomer AAM dosage resulted in a better monodispersity, but the increase of hydrophobic monomer BMA dosage led to a worse monodispersity. With increasing the crosslinker methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) dosage, the mean diameter of the microspheres decreased and the monodispersity became better. An equimolar composition of AAC and AAM in the IPN shells of the microspheres resulted in a more complete shrinkage for the microspheres at temperatures lower than the upper critical solution temperature. Both BMA and MBA additions depressed the swelling ratio of the hydrodynamic diameter of the microspheres. 相似文献

Central to cost-based competition is the capability to accurately predict the cost of delivering a project. Most literature on cost estimation focuses on specific estimation methods as generic techniques and little attention has been paid to the unique requirements at each project stage. This note attempts to identify the critical factors for effective estimation at various stages of typical construction projects. Drawing from organization control theory and cost estimating literature, this note develops a theoretical framework that identifies the critical factors for effective cost estimation during each project phase of a conventional construction project. The underlying logic is that as a cost estimating effort progresses, both task programmability and output measurability improve. This paper presents a physically based compact model for estimating high-frequency performance of spiral inductors. The model accurately accounts for skin and proximity effects in the metal conductors as well as eddy current losses in the substrate. The model shows excellent agreement with measured data mostly within 10% across a variety of inductor geometries and substrate dopings up to 20 GHz. A web-based spiral inductor synthesis and analysis tool COILS, which makes use of the compact models, is presented. An optimization algorithm using binary searches speeds up the synthesis of inductor designs. 相似文献

This study investigates the ozonation of CI Reactive Black 5 (RB5) by using the rotating packed bed (RPB) and completely stirred tank reactor (CSTR) as ozone contactors. The RPB, which provides high gravitational force by adjusting the rotational speed, was employed as a novel ozone contactor. The same ozone dosage was separately introduced into either the RPB or the CSTR for the investigation, while the experimental solution was continuously circulated within the apparatus consisting of the RPB and CSTR. The decolorization and mineralization efficiencies of RB5 in the course of ozonation are compared for these two methods. Moreover, the dissolved and off‐gas ozone concentrations were simultaneously monitored for the further analysis. As a result, the ozone mass transfer rate per unit volume of the RPB was significantly higher because of its higher mass transfer coefficient and gas–liquid concentration driving force. Furthermore, ozonation kinetics was found to be independent of the gravitational magnitude of an ozone gas–liquid contactor. Therefore, the results suggest employing RPBs as ozone‐contacting devices with the advantage of volume reduction. The experimental results, which can be used for further modeling of the ozonation process in the RPB, also show the requirement of correct design for the RPB. We report a case of pulmonary carcinosarcoma. Surgery is required for this rare mixed type, biphasic tumor. It is generally considered to be a malignant formation issuing from a single cell line but with a two-way differentiation into epithelial and conjunctive components. There is a differentiation continuum between spindle-cell carcinomas (also called monophasic sarcomatoid carcinoma) and carcinosarcoma (or biphasic sarcomatoid carcinoma) leading to debate concerning the immunohistochemical and ultrastructural features. 相似文献
