Fundamental developments in nanotechnology have attracted the attention of scientists towards the interaction of nanoparticles due to their fascinating applications in thermal engineering and solar energy systems. Convinced by such motivating applications, the current research project addresses the utilization of nanoparticles in the unsteady three-dimensional chemically reactive flow of an Oldroyd-B fluid induced by a bidirectional oscillatory stretching surface. The effects of mixed convection are also considered here. The prime features of the nanofluid namely thermophoresis and Brownian motion characteristics are explored by introducing the famous Buongiorno's nanofluid model. The relevant equations for the formulated theoretical model have been reduced by the appropriate transformations for which the analytic solution is deliberated via the homotopic technique. Later on, a complete graphical analysis for distinct flow parameters is deliberated for dimensionless velocities, concentration, and temperature distributions with the relevant physical implications. Moreover, stimulating physical quantities like local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are numerically calculated and discussed. The study emphasizes that decreasing variation in both components of velocities has been reported with an increment of relaxation time, while the impact of the retardation time constant is quite opposite. It is further claimed that the velocity distribution has an increasing tendency in the horizontal direction for a higher buoyancy ratio and mixed convection parameters. This theoretical analysis explores the effect of heat and mass transfer on particle–fluid suspension for the Rabinowitsch fluid model with the stiffness and dynamic damping effects through Darcy–Brinkman–Forchheimer porous medium. In this study, we also incorporate slip and transverse magnetic field effects. Using low Reynolds number, to neglect inertial forces and to keep the pressure constant during the flow, channel height is used largely as compared with the ratio of length of the wave. A numerical technique is used to solve flow governing system of differential equations. Particular attention is paid to viscous damping force parameter, stiffness parameter, and rigidity parameter; also, the numerical data for thermal profile, momentum, and concentration distribution are presented graphically. Outcomes are deliberated in detail for different fluid models (thinning, thickening, and viscous models). It is found that velocity profile increases for greater values of viscous damping effect and stiffness and rigidity parameter for shear thinning, but conflicting comportment is showed for thickening nature model. Viscous dissipation effects increases the thermal profile for all cases of fluid models. The scope of the present article is valuable in explaining the blood transport dynamics in small vessels while considering the important wall features with chemical reaction characteristics. The numerical solutions of the upper-convected Maxwell (UCM) nanofluid flow under the magnetic field effects over an inclined stretching sheet has been worked out. This model has the tendency to elaborate on the characteristics of “relaxation time” for the fluid flow. Special consideration has been given to the impact of nonlinear velocity slip, thermal radiation and heat generation. To study the heat transfer, the modified Fourier and Fick's laws are incorporated in the modeling process. The mass transfer phenomenon is investigated under the effects of chemical reaction, Brownian motion and thermophoresis. With the aid of the similarity transformations, the governing equations in the ordinary differential form are determined and then solved through the MATLAB's package “bvp4c” numerically. This study also brings into the spotlight such crucial physical parameters, which are inevitable for describing the flow and heat transfer behavior. This has been done through graphs and tables with as much precision and exactitude as is possible. The ascending values of the magnetic parameter, the Maxwell parameter and the angle of the inclined stretching sheet cause decay in the dimensionless velocity while an assisting behavior of the thermal and concentration buoyancy parameters is noticed. 相似文献

Due to their promising applications in foldable displays,optical communication equipment and environmental monitoring systems,flexible and broadband optoelectronic devices have gained extensive attention in recent years.Here,a flexible and broadband photodetector based on CsPbBr3/PbSe quantum dot(QD) heterostructures is firstly presented.The integrated QD heterostructures possess consecutive detection range from ultraviolet(UV) to long-wave length infrared(LW-IR) regions with efficient light absorption and chemical stability,in comparison with the pristine PbSe QDs.Systematic material characterizations reveal the improved exciton dissociation,carrier transport and carrier lifetime of the QD heterostructures.Flexible photodetector Ag/CsPbBr3/PbSe/Ag demonstrate a high responsivity of 7.17 A/W with a specific detectivity of 8.97 × 1012 Jones under 25 μW/cm2 365 nm illumination at 5 V.Furthermore,it could maintain 91.2 %(or 94.9 %) of its initial performance even after bending for thousands of times(or exposing in ambient air for 4 weeks).More importantly,its re s ponse time is shortened more than three orders of magnitude as that of pristine PbSe QDs-based photodetectors.Therefore,it provides a feasible and promising method for the next-generation high-performance broadband photodetectors via constructing heterostructures of various QDs. 相似文献
