Structured lipids resembling human milk fat and containing GLA were synthesized by an enzymatic interesterification between tripalmitin, hazelnut oil FA, and GLA in n-hexane. Commercially immobilized 1,3-specific lipases, lipozyme® RM IM and Lipozyme® TL IM, were used as the biocatalysts. The effect of these enzymes on the incorporation levels was investigated. A central composite design with five levels and three factors—substrate ratio, reaction temperature, and time—were used to model and optimize the reaction conditions via response surface methodology. Good quadratic models were obtained for the incorporation of GLA (response 1) and oleic acid (response 2) by multiple regression and backward elimination. The determination coefficient (R 2) values for the models were found to be 0.92 and 0.94 for the reactions catalyzed by Lipozyme RM IM, and 0.92 and 0.88 for the reactions catalyzed by Lipozyme TL IM, respecitively. The optimal conditions generated from the models for the targeted GLA (10%) and oleic acid (45%) incorporation were 14.8 mol/mol, 55°C, and 24 h; 14 mol/mol, 55°C, and 24 h for substrate ratio (moles total FA/mol tripalmitin), temperature and time for the reactions catalyzed by Lipozyme RM IM and Lipozyme TL IM, respectively. Human milk fat substitutes containing GLA that can be included in infant formulas were success-fully produced using both Lipozyme RM IM and Lipozyme TL IM enzymes. The effect of the two enzymes on the incorporation of GLA and oleic acid were found to be similar.  相似文献

Calcium phosphates with Ca/P molar ratios of 0.5, 0.75, 1.33, 1.5, 1.55, 1.67, 2.0, and 2.5 were synthesized by a wet chemistry precipitation method and sintered at 500 °C, 700 °C, 900 °C, 1100 °C and 1300 °C for 2 h. Presence of phases and microstructures of calcium phosphates were determined by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. In all different Ca/P ratios, the precipitated phase was always hydroxyapatite with very small size and/or partial disorderness regardless of the Ca/P ratios in the starting precipitating medium. For samples with 0.5 and 0.75 Ca/P ratios in starting solution, tricalcium phosphate and calcium pyrophosphate phases were observed. In contrast, for samples with 1.0 and 1.33 Ca/P ratios, the only stable phase was tricalcium phosphate. For the samples with Ca/P ratio of 1.5, the tricalcium phosphate phase was dominant. However, small amounts of hydroxyapatite started to appear. For samples with Ca/P ratio of 1.67, the hydroxyapatite phase was dominant. Lastly, for samples with the Ca/P ratios of 2.0 and 2.5, the CaO phase started to appear in addition to the hydroxyapatite phase which was the dominant phase. Moreover, the average grain size, porosity (%) and the average pore size decreased with increasing the Ca/P ratios.  相似文献

Frozen potato puree samples were tempered using an ohmic heating technique. Three salt concentrations (0.50, 0.75, and 1.00 %) and three frequency levels (10, 20, and 30 kHz) were used as experimental variables, and the effects of salt concentration and frequency on ohmic tempering were investigated. Temperature, electrical current, and voltage were measured during the ohmic tempering. Electrical conductivities were evaluated based on the sample geometry and the ohmic heating principle. Increasing the salt concentration and/or frequency increased the electrical conductivity and heating rate, and hence contributed to decreasing the tempering time for the frozen potato puree samples. The tempering time was lowest with the highest salt concentration employed, and longest for the lowest salt concentration and frequency. Temperature differences within the sample during ohmic heating were found to be lowest when employing 0.50 % salt concentration and 10 kHz frequency.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different formulations on color and textural characteristics of different cakes during baking in microwave and near infrared-microwave combination ovens. For comparison, cakes were also baked in conventional ovens. Color and hardness for both types of baking schemes were found to be dependent on formulation. Cakes containing Simplesse, a fat replacer consisting mostly of whey protein, baked in microwave and near infrared-microwave combination ovens were found to be the firmest cakes.  相似文献

Tunable pulse-width management is one of the efficient methods to enhance the robustness of return-to-zero (RZ) data formats for long-haul transmission systems. We demonstrate both single channel and 4 /spl times/ 10-Gb/s wavelength-division-multiplexed performance optimization using tunable pulse-width management. Pure RZ single with tunable pulse-width is generated by changing the driving voltages on a phase modulator and the dispersion values of a tunable dispersion element simultaneously according to our simulation results. Varying the pulse width from 50 to 10 ps at the transmitter can almost double the transmission distance with 4% variation in the residual link dispersion.  相似文献

The behavioral effects were studied of monoclonal antibodies (MA) against A3G7 protein, which is known to be associated with the processes of nervous cell differentiation. Elaboration, storage, and retention of acoustic startle (ASR) habituation and freezing behavior were tested in adult rats. The MA applied in a dose of 50 ng on cerebellar vermis selectively impaired only the ASR long-term habituation storage whereas its dose of 5 mcg impaired both long-term habituation storage and fear-conditioned freezing. Application of 10 mcg of MA disrupted the elaboration and storage of the ASR short- and long-term habituation as well as fear-conditioned freezing. The results are considered as experimental verification of systemogenesis theory and hypothesis about a common molecular basis of learning and development.  相似文献

Optimum insulation thickness of a circular duct subjected to external radiative heat transfer is studied for a given amount of insulation material. A circular duct through which fluid is transported from one end to the other is considered. The thickness of the insulation is assumed to be linearly varying since this is easy to implement in practice. Thus the slope of the insulation thickness is considered as the parameter for optimum insulation. Variations of the bulk temperature of the fluid as well as the temperature of the outer surface of the insulation are evaluated. It is shown that linearly decreasing insulation thickness with minimum slope provides the best insulation under the radiation heat transfer condition. A pregnant woman with transient gastric obstruction was fed by enteral nutrition alone for 11 wk and 6 d. Her body mass index of 23.2 kg/m2 before pregnancy declined to 21.8 kg/m2 after delivery. Although she did not gain weight during enteral nutrition, fetal growth, estimated by ultrasonography, was normal, and she delivered a 3030-g female infant at 38 wk gestation. The blood laboratory data during pregnancy and the breast milk after pregnancy were also normal. The results suggest that factors other than maternal weight gain alone should be considered in the evaluation of nutritional status for the pregnant woman.  相似文献

In this study we have investigated the distribution of dermatophyte species clinically and microbiologically on 110 patients with dermatophytosis. The distribution of the dermatophytes according to the localization sites are: Tinea Capitis 13 (11.8%), T. Corporis 12 (10.9%), T. Inguinalis 22 (20%), T. Pedis et Manum 47 (42.7%), T. Unguinum 16 (14.5%). The species of dermatophytes which have been cultured were, Trichophyton rubrum 32 (29%), T. mentagrophytes 32 (29%), T. schoenleini 4 (3.6%), T. tonsurans 1 (0.9%), Epidermophyton floccosum 16 (14.5%), Microsporum canis 1 (0.9%), M. audouini 1 (0.9%), various molds 3 (2.7%) and also number of negative cultures obtained were 20 (18.1%).  相似文献
