The effects of solution properties and polyelectrolyte on the electrospinning of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) solutions were investigated. Ultrafine PEO fibers without beads were electrospun from 3, 4, 7 and 7 wt% PEO solutions in chloroform, ethanol, (dimethylformamide) DMF and water, respectively. At these concentrations, the values of [η]C were ∼10 for all solutions. The average diameters of PEO fibers were ranged from 0.36 to 1.96 μm. The higher the dielectric constant of solvent was, the thinner PEO fiber was. The average diameters of electrospun PEO fibers from PEO/water solutions were decreased and their distributions were narrowed by adding 0.1 wt% poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) and poly(acrylic acid sodium salt) (PAA) due to the increased charge density in solutions. The addition of PAH and PAA lowered the minimum concentration for electrospinning of a PEO/water solution to 6 wt%.  相似文献

The TiO2/substrate pearlescent pigments were prepared by the hydrolysis of TiOCl2 on the substrate followed by a calcinations process. The natural mica (muscovite), synthetic mica (fluorophlogopite) and -alumina flake were selected as the substrates for pearlescent pigments. The effect of substrate on the anatase to rutile (A–R) phase transformation of TiO2 was studied. The A–R phase transformation of TiO2 during the preparation of pearlescent pigments and their proportion in the TiO2 layer have been analyzed by XRD measurements. The phase compositions of TiO2 layer in each pearlescent pigment are quite different depending on the substrates. The TiO2 layer deposited on -alumina has higher rutile fraction than those on the natural and synthetic mica. The XPS analysis showed that the cations originally present in the substrates diffused into the TiO2 layer. The TiO2 layer deposited on -alumina contains Al, while those on the natural and synthetic mica substrates contain Si and K in addition to Al. The metal cations diffusing from the substrate into TiO2 layer might retard the A–R phase transformation of TiO2. The suppressing effect on the A–R transformation of TiO2 by mixed cations seems to be much stronger than that of single cation, resulting in relatively higher rutile fraction in the case of TiO2 layer deposited on -alumina.  相似文献

In this paper, an additional filler wire with opposite polarity was inserted in tandem flux cored arc welding process to increase the welding speed and deposition rate. In this hybrid welding, the optimisation of welding parameters is required to improve the bead geometry which directly indicates the welding quality. However, the correlation between the parameters and the bead geometry is hard to identify, so the process parameters are usually selected intuitively by the experienced engineers. Therefore, welding process modelling is constructed with the Gaussian process regression model, and parameter optimisation is performed with sequential quadratic programming optimisation algorithm. The proposed modelling optimisation process is verified by performing the welding experiment using the parameters that are optimised by the proposed process.  相似文献

Laminar lifted butane flames diluted with nitrogen have been investigated experimentally to determine distinctive self-excitation regimes in the flame stability maps and also to elucidate the individual self-excitation characteristics. Self-excitations of lift-off height are classified into five regimes in laminar free-jet lift-off butane flames diluted with nitrogen: a stationary lifted regime (regime I), a heat-loss-induced self-excitation (regime II), a buoyancy-induced self-excitation due to flame flicker as well as a heat-loss-induced self-excitation (III), a combined form of an oscillation prior to blow-out and a heat-loss-induced oscillation (regime IV), and a combined form of an buoyancy-induced self-excitation and a heat-loss-induced oscillation as well as an additional buoyancy-driven self-excitation due to flame flicker (regime V). Extremely low-frequency (<0.1 Hz) self-excitation is caused by conductive heat loss from the premixed wings to the trailing diffusion flame and can be explained by a proposed mechanism. It is also found that the flame oscillation prior to flame blow-out is also caused by buoyancy and also significantly affected by the conductive heat loss from the premixed wings to the trailing diffusion flame, thereby showing that the frequency with nozzle exit velocity increases in the triple-flame propagation mode and then decreases in the flame-front propagation mode. Characterization of the individual self-excitation mode is presented and also discussed with Strouhal numbers and its relevant parameters through the analysis of power spectrum for temporal variation of lift-off height.  相似文献

Skin biopsy for AK diagnosis is usually performed on only a limited part of the whole lesion. Therefore, a clinical diagnosis is important. According to a study, there is no significant correlation between histopathological and clinical classification system. We examined the correlation between microscopic information and dermoscopic findings to deduce if dermoscopic information reflects histopathologic grade severity. Forty seven patients with histologically confirmed AK were enrolled and positive ratio of red pseudonetwork, rosette, red background and targetoid signs, white‐to‐yellow scale, white structureless area, and pigmentation from dermoscopic findings were investigated. Furthermore, viable epidermal thickness, vessel lumen dimensions, existence and thickness of ortho‐ and parakeratosis, degree of sola elastosis, flag sign existence, and Roewert‐Huber classification were measured as histologic findings. Red background did not show a significant correlation with vascular dimension or viable epidermal thickness. When targetoid sign was present, vascular dimension was significantly larger but showed no correlation with viable epidermal thickness, parakeratosis or orthokeratosis. Solar elastosis level was significantly higher when white‐to‐yellow scale was present. According to Spearman's correlation analysis, ortho/parakeratotic thickness showed correlations with each other. The negative correlation between viable epidermal thickness and vascular dimension was also shown. Roewert‐Huber histologic AK classification showed no correlation with any factors we checked. Factors considered to be characteristic features of AK in dermoscopy seemed unassociated with histologic AK classification and additional research is needed to determine degree of dysplasia of AK lesions using dermoscopy.  相似文献

The effect of tensile strain on structural and ferroelectric properties of BiFeO3 epitaxial films was investigated. The films grown by pulsed laser deposition on MgAl2O4 (0 0 1) substrates revealed monoclinic structure deviated from the bulk rhombohedral structure due to a tensile strain along the in-plane direction. The strain is induced by the difference in thermal expansion coefficients between the film and the substrate. A Poisson ratio is calculated from the in-plain and out-of-plain lattice constants at different temperatures measured by reciprocal space maps of X-ray diffraction. The small Poisson ratio compared to the bulk suggests a weaker elastic response at high temperature. The ferroelectric polarization of the tensile-strained film along the (0 0 1) is also decreased from the bulk value.  相似文献

Issues in the circuitry, integration, and material properties of the two‐dimensional (2D) and three‐dimensional (3D) crossbar array (CBA)‐type resistance switching memories are described. Two important quantitative guidelines for the memory integration are provided with respect to the required numbers of signal wires and sneak current paths. The advantage of 3D CBAs over 2D CBAs (i.e., the decrease in effect memory cell size) can be exploited only under certain limited conditions due to the increased area and layout complexity of the periphery circuits. The sneak current problem can be mitigated by the adoption of different voltage application schemes and various selection devices. These have critical correlations, however, and depend on the involved types of resistance switching memory. The problem is quantitatively dealt with using the generalized equation for the overall resistance of the parasitic current paths. Atomic layer deposition is discussed in detail as the most feasible fabrication process of 3D CBAs because it can provide the device with the necessary conformality and atomic‐level accuracy in thickness control. Other subsidiary issues related to the line resistance, maximum available current, and fabrication technologies are also reviewed. Finally, a summary and outlook on various other applications of 3D CBAs are provided.  相似文献
