Comparing fuzzy numbers has become one of the key challenging issues in fuzzy sets. Many researchers have proposed different procedures to rank fuzzy numbers, but the results frequently contradict each other. This work addresses the key weakness of several fuzzy ranking methods which have been introduced in recent articles. In this paper, we reveal that in nearly all ranking methods that the ranking procedure depends on the height of fuzzy numbers the result is unreliable. However, the final aim of this study is to propose some suggestions for a meaningful comparison in new methods. We demonstrate our reasoning with several numerical cases taken from literature.  相似文献

Air pollutants are among the hazardous materials for human health. Therefore, many scientists are interested in removing particles from the carrier gas. In this study, flow of air and airborne particles through the virtual multi-fibrous filters that consist of different fiber cross-sectional shapes and arrangements is simulated where particle deposition and filtration performance are studied. Regular and irregular arrangements of fibers with the circular, elliptical, and equilateral triangular cross sections have been considered. Effects of important parameters such as solid volume fraction, internal structure, and filter thickness on particle collection efficiency and pressure drop are investigated, and the best internal structure of the multi-fiber filters for the collection of particles is obtained. Results indicate that an increase in the ratio of the vertical distances between fibers to fiber diameter and the solid volume fraction would result in a dramatic reduction of filtration. Collection efficiency of multi-fiber filters is validated with the available numerical studies.  相似文献

Dough preparation process is an important stage of bread production which has a significant effect on quality of the end product. Bakery yeast, sourdough and chemical leavening agents are used as leavening agents for the treatment of dough for bread. In this study, bakery yeast, sourdough, sodium bicarbonate and combination of bakery yeast and sodium bicarbonate were used for the production of flat bread (lavash). The firmness of lavash bread texture was analyzed using a texture analyzer device and bread staling at 24, 48 and 72 h after baking was analyzed using DSC device. Also, microstructure of bread was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results of DSC showed that bread produced with combination of bakery yeast and sodium bicarbonate, had lower enthalpy (279.84 ± 70.47 J/g) and staling than the other samples. Also, hardness of this sample was low (7.608 ± 0.892 N). The images obtained from SEM showed that diameter of gas bubbles in the bread produced with bakery yeast and combination of bakery yeast and sodium bicarbonate, were higher and their cell walls were thinner.  相似文献

In industrial computed radiography, same as the other projection imaging systems, quantitative integrated information of total beam path including the object is carried by primary part of the beam. It is well known that the accuracy of the image useful data carried by the primary part degrades by scattered part of the beam. In order to have the beam path quantitative information accurately, it is essential to obtain the primary part of the total signal purely. In current study, a practical approach using localized primary modulation has been proposed to extract the primary signal. A semi-transparent beam attenuation grid was used as the beam intensity modulator. Efficiency and accuracy of the approach was practically validated through thickness measurement of metallic planar steps as an illustrative example. Simplified practical implementation and availability of the required accessories are some of advantages of the proposed approach. The results are indicative of the fact that this approach can also be applied as a new technique in thickness measurement, yielding a noticeable accuracy improvement in the most radiography methods. A procedure is included to explain the approach implementation for thickness measurement in computed radiography systems. The procedure overcomes some practical limitations and difficulties of the approach adaptation for computed radiography.  相似文献

The vibration analysis of rotating, functionally graded Timoshenko nano-beams under an in-plane nonlinear thermal loading is studied for the first time. The formulation is based on Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory. Hamilton's principle is used for the derivation of the equations. The governing equations are solved by the differential quadrature method. The nano-beam is under axial load due to the rotation and thermal effects, and the boundary conditions are considered as cantilever and propped cantilever. The thermal distribution is considered to be nonlinear and material properties are temperature-dependent and are changing continuously through the thickness according to the power-law form.  相似文献

In this study, the effect of etchant type and etching conditions on the root and airfoil microstructure of a service-exposed IN738 turbine blade has been investigated. The microstructure of superalloy components used at high temperatures, in addition to the usual microstructural changes, experiences deterioration in micrometer dimensions. In order to investigate these changes, electrochemical etching was performed on the samples with the chemical solution including 80% phosphoric acid, solution containing Cr2O3 and 55% glycerol. Chemical etching was performed with marble and etchant solution containing 60% glycerol. The results in terms of specifying the deterioration effects on microstructure of the blade applied at high temperature, the amount of γ′ phase and the best etchant were investigated. Among the solutions used for chemical etching, the solution containing 10 ml HNO3, 50 ml HCl and 60 ml glycerol was appropriate for detection of segregations and dendrites, and among the electrochemical etching solutions, the Cr2O3 solution was found suitable for specifying γ′ precipitates’ morphology by scanning electron microscopy. In this research, the results of the quantitative analysis of the images provided by these etchants were also investigated.  相似文献

Melittin, a small water-soluble cationic amphipathic α-helical linear peptide, consisted of 26 amino acids, is the honeybee venom major constituent. Several reports have proved the lytic and apoptotic effects of melittin in several cancerous cell lines. In this study, we aimed to fabricate an AS1411 aptamer–melittin to specifically deliver melittin to nucleolin positive cells (A549). Melittin was covalently attached to antinucleolin aptamer (AS1411) and its toxicity in A549 (nucleolin positive) and L929 (nucleolin negative) was studied using MTT and Annexin V flow cytometry methods. Aptamer–melittin conjugate formation was confirmed by gel electrophoresis. Hemolytic effect of aptamer–melittin conjugate was compared to melittin alone. The aptamer–melittin conjugate showed efficient cell uptake and was more cytotoxic in A549 cells than melittin (p?in vitro. This system can reduce the cytotoxic effects of melittin on cells with no nucleolin receptor overexpression which comprise most of normal cells such as L929 cells.  相似文献

The main goal of this paper is to introduce a notion of fuzzy absolute error distance measure between two fuzzy numbers. For this purpose, a notion of generalised difference operation between two fuzzy numbers and absolute value of a fuzzy number was first introduced. The proposed methods were conducted on the basis of α-values of fuzzy numbers. Main properties of the proposed fuzzy distance measure was also verified in the space of fuzzy numbers. The proposed fuzzy distance measure evaluates the fuzzy distance between the two fuzzy numbers as a fuzzy number. Notably, the main advantage of such generalised difference operation is that it always exists. Therefore, it improves the shortcoming of a well-known generalised difference operation called Hakuhara difference. Some of the main properties of the proposed fuzzy absolute error distance measure including robustness were also studied in the space of fuzzy numbers. Several fuzzy distance measures, especially fuzzy absolute error distance, have been proposed so far. However, none of them save all reasonable properties required for an absolute error distance measure in fuzzy environment. Shortcomings relevant to other methods and advantages of the proposed method were also discussed.  相似文献
