The crystal structure of (4,4′‐di­methyl‐2,2′‐bipyridyl)­tris­[3,3,3‐tri­fluoro‐1‐(2‐thenoyl)propan‐2‐onato]­europium(III), or more commonly (4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridyl)tris(2‐thenoyltrifluoro­acetonato)europium(III), [Eu(C8H4F3O2S)3(C12H12N2)], has been determined. Crystals of the complex emit vivid red light when scratched or fractured. This triboluminescent activity seems to correlate with the non‐centrosymmetric crystal structure and disorder of the thienyl rings and CF3 groups which is present here and in similar compounds. While modeling the thienyl‐ring disorder, it was noted that the bond angle at the C atom replaced by S is a sensitive sign of even small rotational ring disorder. The coordination geometry of the EuIII ion can be described as square antiprismatic, with coordination by the six O atoms of the three chelating β‐diketonate ligands and the two N atoms of the neutral bipyridyl ligand.  相似文献

Kink-bands in rocks have been widely observed in nature and imitated in the laboratory, and the mechanism of their formation has attracted much attention from various researchers for many years. In this paper, a two-phase equilibrium model is presented in which the kink-bands are considered as a high-strain phase and the other regions outside kink-bands as a low-strain phase and the discontinuity of the deformation gradient and stresses is permitted across the interface between those two phases. Based on the present model, we conduct the analysis for the rocks under plane strain compression by finding the minimum value of the compressive loading at which the governing equations have real, physically acceptable solutions. It is revealed that for the rocks with strain-softening behaviour, two-phase equilibrium solutions exist, and the critical value of the compressive loading, the inclination angle of the kink-band, and the stresses and strains inside and outside kink-bands can all be determined by the solution, which are in good agreement with experimental measurements and observations.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study Hopf bifurcations in a delayed Lotka–Volterra system with dihedral symmetry. By treating the response delay as bifurcation parameter and employing equivariant degree method, we obtain the existence of multiple branches of nonconstant periodic solutions through a local Hopf bifurcation around an equilibrium. We find that competing coefficients and the response delay in the system can affect the spatio-temporal patterns of bifurcating periodic solutions. According to their symmetric properties, a topological classification is given for these periodic solutions. Furthermore, an estimation is presented on minimal number of bifurcating branches. These theoretical results are helpful to better understand the complex dynamics induced by response delays and symmetries in Lotka–Volterra systems.  相似文献

In recent years, the search for environmentally friendly alternative energy sources with reduced carbon footprints has increased. The coupling of photovoltaic power sources with advanced electrolysis systems for hydrogen production via water splitting using organic contaminants as sacrificial electron donors has been considered to a be viable alternative. In this report, we demonstrated the feasibility of a scaled-up rooftop prototype of the proposed hybrid photovoltaic-electrolysis system, which utilizes semiconductor nanoparticles coated on to metal substrates as electrodes for the generation of hydrogen coupled with the oxidation of wastewater. Application of an anodic bias of >2.0?V to bismuth-doped TiO2 (BiO x ?CTiO2) on Ti metal anodes with a sequential under-coatings of nanoparticulate SnO2, IrO2, Ta2O5, and Bi2O3 results in the electrochemical degradation of a variety of organic chemical contaminants in water (i.e., rhodamine B (Rh.B), methylene blue (MB), salicylic acid, triclosan, and phenol) and actual wastewater from a chemical manufacturing plant, while at the same time, molecular hydrogen is produced at stainless steel (SS) cathodes. The kinetics of the anodic substrates oxidation is investigated as a function of the cell current (I cell), substrate concentration, and background electrolyte composition (e.g., NaCl, Na2SO4, or seawater). Average current efficiencies were found to be in the range of 4?C22?%, while the cathodic current and energy efficiencies for hydrogen production were found to be in the range of 50?C70?% and 20?C40?%, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, three-dimensional (3-D) open cloaks were designed based on the coordinate transformation method. When the transformation center point is close to the boundary of the cloaks, the material parameter tensors in the near-boundary areas of the cloaks approximate to those in the background, so the near-boundary areas can be designed to be open. Full wave simulations based on finite element method verified the open cloaks we designed. Open cloaks can exchange information and materials with background media. Using the design method proposed in this paper, the boundary of open cloaks can be arbitrarily shaped, which greatly enhances the applicability of open cloaks.  相似文献

Toxic gases that are colorless and odorless, such as CO, are a major environmental concern and require early detection to prevent serious toxicological effects. In this study, a unique system (Pt/HMSs‐BRC) was fabricated by combining a catalyst (Pt/hollow mesoporous silica spheres, Pt/HMSs) with a silica gel containing an adsorbed chromogenic probe (binuclear rhodium complex, BRC). The process is a simple method to prepare well‐dispersed and uniform Pt nanoparticles. The Pt/HMSs‐BRC materials demonstrated early CO detection and excellent catalytic performance for CO oxidation. The probe exhibited remarkable color modulation from gray‐violet to light‐yellow when exposed to CO concentration levels above 50 ppm, and the color of the chromogenic probe was fully recoverable. By a kinetics‐assisted discrimination method and DFT calculations, it was found that the corner Pt sites are the dominant active sites for CO oxidation.  相似文献

针对现有可信计算中远程证明方案的不足,将虚拟机技术和策略相结合,提出并实现了一种新的远程证明框架.该框架在用户终端构建可信虚拟机向应用系统提供可信的执行环境,服务方可以制定灵活、细粒度的策略,并借助于可信虚拟机来分发和执行这些策略,从而保证终端平台的行为符合服务方的要求.通过相关分析和模拟实验,结果表明:该框架町以开放地允许更多的软件实体接入,并具有良好的实时性、动态性、灵活性,真正实现了基于行为的远程证明.  相似文献

The attitude dynamics and control for solar sail orbiting a celestial body (e.g., the Earth) are critical for the space missions. In the paper, the pitch dynamics is addressed by considering the torques by the center-of-mass and center-of-pressure offset, the gravity gradient, the internal damping and the control vane. The chaotic pitch motion is analytically detected for the sailcraft in the circular and elliptical orbits with small eccentricities using the Melnikov’s method. The validity of the Melnikov method is numerically verified by checking the Poincare surface of section and the power spectral density. The stability criterion method with some improvements is utilized to stabilize the chaotic pitch motion onto the reference unstable periodic motion embedded in the chaotic attractor. The reference unstable periodic motion is obtained based on the calculation of the close return pairs. The small control input torques and the stabilization effects are presented, and the advantages of the modified stabilization method are clarified based on the numerical simulations.  相似文献
