This study investigated the application of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) (2%, 3%, 4%), sugar beet fibre (SBF) (3%, 5%, 7%) and water (210%, 220%, 230%) into maize‐based gluten‐free (GF) formulations and their effects on the GF batter rheology and bread quality. HPMC incorporation in higher amounts reduced the compliance values of GF batter samples and increased the values of dynamic moduli indicating an improvement in the GF batter elastic characteristic. The same course of action with a less pronounced influence on mentioned rheological parameters had SBF addition. GF bread quality evaluation in terms of specific loaf volume and crumb texture (hardness, cohesiveness and springiness) reveals that HPMC and SBF incorporation at higher levels enhanced these quality parameters. The inclusion of HPMC and SBF coupled with adequate water content can improve the nutritional value of GF bread without negative influence on bread quality.  相似文献

The article summarizes the results of the long-term research on the anthropomorphic soil in reclaimed and successive areas of the Most Basin in Czech Republic. The main attention is paid to the main dump localities of the Most Basin monitored on the long-term basis. Based on the evaluation of the paedological development of the areas, the presence of contaminants and the development of the vegetation cover, the authors of the article propose optimal management methodology for the areas damaged by mining based on the detailed survey of individual localities within the Most Basin conditions. Science is a societal process, designed on widely accepted general rules which facilitate its development. Productive researchers are viewed from the perspective of a social network of their interpersonal relations. In this paper we address performance of Slovenian research community using bibliographic networks between the years 1970 and 2015 from various aspects which determine prolific science. We focus on basic determinants of research performance including productivity, collaboration, internationality, and interdisciplinarity. For each of the determinants, we select a set of statistics and network measures to investigate the state of each in every year of the analyzed period. The analysis is based on high quality data from manually curated information systems. We interpret the results by relating them to important historical events impacting Slovenia and to domestic expenditure for research and development. Our results clearly demonstrate causal relations between the performance of research community and changes in wider society. Political and financial stability together with concise measuring of scientific productivity established soon after Slovenia won independence from Yugoslavia in 1991 had positive influence on all determinants. They were further leveraged by foundation of Slovenian research agency and joining EU and NATO. Publish and perish phenomenon, negative impacts of financial crisis in 2008–2014 and reshaping the domestic expenditure for research and development after 2008 have also clear response in scientific community. In the paper, we also study the researcher’s career productivity cycles and present the analysis of the career productivity for all registered researchers in Slovenia.  相似文献

We are presenting a new approach of identifying sources of variability within a manufacturing process by NIR measurements of samples of intermediate material after each consecutive unit operation (interprocess NIR sampling technique). In addition, we summarize the development of a multivariate statistical process control (MSPC) model for the production of enteric-coated pellet product of the proton-pump inhibitor class. By developing provisional NIR calibration models, the identification of critical process points yields comparable results to the established MSPC modeling procedure. Both approaches are shown to lead to the same conclusion, identifying parameters of extrusion/spheronization and characteristics of lactose that have the greatest influence on the end-product’s enteric coating performance. The proposed approach enables quicker and easier identification of variability sources during manufacturing process, especially in cases when historical process data is not straightforwardly available. In the presented case the changes of lactose characteristics are influencing the performance of the extrusion/spheronization process step. The pellet cores produced by using one (considered as less suitable) lactose source were on average larger and more fragile, leading to consequent breakage of the cores during subsequent fluid bed operations. These results were confirmed by additional experimental analyses illuminating the underlying mechanism of fracture of oblong pellets during the pellet coating process leading to compromised film coating.  相似文献

This paper reports a simple route for the preparation of graphene/poly(styrene‐b‐butadiene‐b‐styrene) (SBS) nanocomposite films employing a vacuum filtration method. Graphene is exfoliated well by an electrochemical procedure and homogeneously dispersed in the polymer matrix. The prepared nanocomposite films were characterized by XRD, Fourier transform IR (FTIR) spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman spectroscopy, AFM and SEM. Morphological studies showed that graphene formed a smooth coating over the surface of SBS. The increase in graphene concentration induces the wrinkling of graphene sheets at the composite surface which causes a further increase in surface roughness. The FTIR, Raman and XPS spectra of graphene/SBS nanocomposite films indicate the strong interactions between graphene and the polymer matrix. According to the XRD patterns, introducing SBS into graphene did not modify the graphene structure additionally, i.e. the crystal lattice parameters do not depend on SBS content in graphene/SBS nanocomposite films. The graphene/SBS nanocomposite films also exhibited better hydrophobicity due to the increased surface roughness and lower sheet resistivity (reduced 10 times) compared to exfoliated graphene. © 2018 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

The tremendous reinforcing and pore‐stabilizing effect of in situ formed nanosilica in a highly porous temperature‐responsive poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPA) matrix is demonstrated. A very weakly crosslinked semi‐liquid hydrogel can be reinforced to the point that it displays a fast, extensive and nearly symmetric temperature‐responsiveness in combination with an acceptable modulus. In soft but solid porous PNIPA, only 0.6 wt% of the nanofiller is sufficient to stabilize the pores against collapse upon de‐swelling, thus enabling ultrafast responsiveness. A spectacular effect is achieved with dried porous PNIPA (matrix is glassy, Tg ≈ 140 °C), which in the case of optimal nanosilica amounts can re‐swell in only 3 min. The key importance of efficient hydrogen bridging between PNIPA and SiO2 is demonstrated by comparing in situ formed nanosilica with similarly sized commercial Ludox particles, the surface of which is saturated with ammonia (for stabilization). Synthesis parameters like the amount of crosslinker and of nanosilica were varied in a wide range, in order to achieve the fastest possible responsiveness of the hydrogels in combination with a high modulus. The porosity, nanosilica distribution, moduli, temperature‐dependent swelling as well as the swelling kinetics of the gels were determined as functions of contents of crosslinker and nanosilica. © 2017 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

Depolymerized polyethylene terephthalate and liquefied wood polyesters can be used as a polyol for the production of polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foams. In this research, liquefied wood was synthesized by using a combination of diethylene glycol and glycerol and due to the possibility of using glycerol that is a by‐product in biodiesel production, our goal was to use as much glycerol in the liquefaction reagent as possible. We determined the properties of the polyols, properties of produced foams, and explained their correlation. Greater amount of glycerol in the liquefaction reagent resulted in higher OH number, molecular weight, functionality, and viscosity of the polyol, as well as in longer cream time and tack free time in foam preparation. Glass transition temperature, density, and water absorption of the foam increased with increasing amount of glycerol in liquefied wood. Compressive stress increased up to 30% of the glycerol in the reagent and then reduced, while thermal conductivity was not affected. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym.
