Camelina, flaxseed, hemp, sesame, and walnut cakes were analyzed for their phospholipid (PL) content and composition using 31P and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance and gas chromatography. The data evidenced variations between the sources in terms of (1) total lipid content and PL concentration, camelina cake being the richest source of PLs, (2) PL composition, phosphatidylcholine being the most abundant phospholipid in sesame and hemp cakes, whereas phosphatidylinositol represented about 25% of the total PLs in most cakes, and (3) fatty acid composition of the PLs, camelina cake being the richest source of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. These data may be useful to diversify the PL sources available and to provide PL fractions with specific nutritional or functional properties.  相似文献

As part of our research projects to identify new chemical entities of biological interest, we developed a synthetic approach and the biological evaluation of (7‐aryl‐1,5‐naphthyridin‐4‐yl)ureas as a novel class of Aurora kinase inhibitors for the treatment of malignant diseases based on pathological cell proliferation. 1,5‐Naphthyridine derivatives showed excellent inhibitory activities toward Aurora kinases A and B, and the most active compound, 1‐cyclopropyl‐3‐[7‐(1‐methyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)‐1,5‐naphthyridin‐4‐yl]urea ( 49 ), displayed IC50 values of 13 and 107 nM against Aurora kinases A and B, respectively. In addition, the selectivity toward a panel of seven cancer‐related protein kinases was highlighted. In vitro ADME properties were also determined in order to rationalize the difficulties in correlating antiproliferative activity with Aurora kinase inhibition. Finally, the good safety profile of these compounds imparts promising potential for their further development as anticancer agents.  相似文献

Among direct-bandgap semiconducting nanomaterials, single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) exhibit strong quasi-one-dimensional excitonic optical properties, which confer them a great potential for their integration in future photonics devices as an alternative solution to conventional inorganic semiconductors. In this paper, we will highlight SWCNT optical properties for passive as well as active applications in future optical networking. For passive applications, we directly compare the efficiency and power consumption of saturable absorbers (SAs) based on SWCNT with SA based on conventional multiple quantum wells. For active applications, exceptional photoluminescence properties of SWCNT, such as excellent light-emission stabilities with temperature and excitation power, hold these nanometer-scale materials as prime candidates for future active photonics devices with superior performances.  相似文献

Nutritionally enhanced spaghetti was produced by adding high amounts (35% db) of legume flour (split pea or faba bean) to durum wheat semolina. The production of fortified pasta required an adaptation of the pasta making process (higher hydration level and mixing speed) to limit agglomeration of particles during mixing. Moreover, addition of legume flour induced a decrease in some pasta quality attributes (e.g. higher cooking loss, lower breaking energy). This could be attributed to the introduction of non-gluten proteins and insoluble fibres which weakened the overall structure of pasta. A modification of the sensorial properties including higher hardness and higher fracturability were also observed. Some quality attributes (e.g. lower cooking loss) of fortified pasta were improved by applying high and very high temperatures during the drying cycle, reflecting strengthening of the protein network. However, these treatments resulted in excessively firm and rubbery pasta according to the panelists.  相似文献

In the ternary systems LnSnS, intermediate compounds are observed only in the quasi-binary Ln2S3SnS2 sections. They have the general formula Ln2SnS5, and exist from La to Dy. They are orthorhombic, with the space group Pbam, and their structure was studied with single crystals of La2SnS5 (Jaulmes 1974) and Sm2SnS5 (Julien-Pouzol and Jaulmes 1976). These structures are extremely similar; they differ only by the coordination of the rare earth, which is 9 for La (with 2 relatively long bonds), and 8 for Sm. Intermediate compounds were not observed in the other regions of the ternary LnSnS systems. No ternary compound has been found in the LnSnSe systems.  相似文献

Little is known about requirements engineering practices in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This paper summarises the results of a workshop on requirements engineering held with practitioners from 10 SMEs. The current state-of-the-practice, as reported by the practitioners, differs significantly, and so do their individual problems due to contextual issues (e.g., in-house vs. contract development, type of product). The participants were presented with a set of current requirements engineering principles, techniques, methods, and tools. Important concepts were motivated by small case studies and experiments which we employed as a vehicle for technology transfer. The design of these and their results are described, as well as the practitioner’s rating of the techniques and methods.  相似文献
