Recent discoveries of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in weldments including penetration nozzles at pressurized water reactors (PWRs) and boiling water reactors (BWRs) have raised concerns about safety and integrity of plant components. It is well known that welding residual stress is an important factor resulting in SCC in weldments. In the present work, both experimental method and numerical simulation technology are used to investigate the characteristics of welding residual stress distribution in penetration nozzles welded by multi-pass J-groove joint. An experimental mock-up is fabricated to measure welding residual stress at first. In the experiment, each weld pass is performed using a semi-circle balanced welding procedure. Then, a corresponding finite element models with considering moving heat source, deposition sequence, inter-pass temperature, temperature-dependent thermal and mechanical properties, strain hardening and annealing effect is developed to simulate welding temperature and residual stress fields. The simulation results predicted by the 3D model are generally in good agreement with the measurements. Meanwhile, to clarify the influence of deposition sequence on the welding residual stress, the welding residual stress field in the same geometrical model induced by a continuous welding procedure is also calculated. Finally, the influence of a joint oblique angle on welding residual stress is investigated numerically. The numerical results suggest that both deposition sequence and oblique angles have effect on welding residual stress distribution. 相似文献

The microstructure and mechanical properties of hot extruded Mg–Al–Mn–Ca alloy was investigated. Both rapid solidified powders and cast billets were extruded at 573, 623 and 673 K to optimize the processing conditions for obtaining better mechanical response. Powder was consolidated to prepare the extrusion billets using both cold compaction and Spark Plasma Sintering at 473 K. The tensile properties of the extruded alloy were then evaluated and correlated to the observed microstructure. The results show that the use of rapid solidified powder could lead to effective grain refinement, which in turn resulted in the improved mechanical response, especially compared to the extruded conventional cast material. 相似文献

The individuality of production devices should be taken into account when soft-sensors are designed for parallelized devices. Since it is expressed as differences of the correlation among measured variables, it is useful to cluster samples on the basis of the correlation among variables for adopting a multi-model approach. In addition, changes in process characteristics can be coped with in the same way. In the present work, a new clustering method, referred to as NC-spectral clustering, is proposed by integrating the nearest correlation (NC) method and spectral clustering. Spectral clustering is a graph partitioning method that can be used for sample classification when an affinity matrix of a weighted graph is given. The NC method can detect samples that are similar to the query from the viewpoint of the correlation without a teacher signal. In the proposed method, the NC method is used for constructing the weighted graph that expresses the correlation-based similarities between samples and the constructed graph is partitioned by using spectral clustering. In addition, a new soft-sensor design method is proposed on the basis of the proposed NC-spectral clustering. The usefulness of the proposed methods is demonstrated through a numerical example and a case study of parallelized batch processes. The performance of the proposed correlation-based method is better than that of the conventional distance-based methods. 相似文献

The effects of psychological stress on eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders have not been elucidated. This study investigated the effects of psychological stress in a mouse model of eosinophilic enteritis (EoN). BALB/c mice were treated with ovalbumin (OVA) to create an EoN model and subjected to either water avoidance stress (WAS) or sham stress (SS). Microscopic inflammation, eosinophil and mast cell counts, mRNA expression, and protein levels of type 2 helper T cell (Th2) cytokines in the ileum were compared between groups. We evaluated ex vivo intestinal permeability using an Ussing chamber. A corticotropin-releasing hormone type 1 receptor (CRH-R1) antagonist was administered before WAS, and its effects were analyzed. WAS significantly increased diarrhea occurrence and, eosinophil and mast cell counts, and decreased the villus/crypt ratio compared to those in the SS group. The mRNA expression of CRH, interleukin IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, eotaxin-1, and mast cell tryptase β2 significantly increased, and the protein levels of IL-5, IL-13, and OVA-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) also significantly increased in the WAS group. Moreover, WAS significantly increased the intestinal permeability. The CRH-R1 antagonist significantly inhibited all changes induced by WAS. Psychological stress exacerbated ileal inflammation via the CRH-mast cell axis in an EoN mouse model. 相似文献

The radical polymerization of N‐isopropylacrylamide was carried out in toluene at low temperatures in the presence of silyl alcohols, such as triethylsilanol. Poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) with a racemo dyad content of 75% was obtained at ? 80 °C with a 4:1 triethylsilanol to monomer ratio loading. NMR analysis suggests that the mechanism for syndiotactic induction, in the presence of silyl alcohols, may be similar to that observed with alkyl alcohols. Abstract: We have previously reported that bilberry anthocyanins exhibit an anti‐pruritic effect in a mouse model of allergic contact dermatitis. It has been reported that anthocyanins are particularly sensitive to thermal treatment and are easily hydrolyzed to anthocyanidins when exposed to high temperatures. The objective of this study was to compare the anti‐pruritic effect of anthocyanin‐rich quality‐controlled bilberry extract and anthocyanidin‐rich degraded extract using a mouse model of allergic contact dermatitis. BALB/c mice with allergic contact dermatitis induced by 4 weeks of repeated application of 2,4,6‐trinitro‐1‐chlorobenzene (TNCB) were administered Bilberon‐25 orally for 4 weeks after sensitization with TNCB. The effect of Bilberon‐25 on pruritus was evaluated by measurement of scratching behavior. RBL‐2H3 mast cells were used to investigate the effect of Bilberon‐25 on degranulation in 48/80‐stimulated mast cells. Compared with nonheated Bilberon‐25, the proportion of anthocyanins in heated Bilberon‐25 decreased, and the proportion of anthocyanidins was increased in heated‐time dependent manner. Treatment with non‐heated Bilberon‐25 significantly attenuated the TNCB‐induced increase in scratching behavior, whereas treatment with 2 h‐heated Bilberon‐25 did not. Moreover, 300 μg/mL nonheated Bilberon‐25 showed significant inhibition of degranulation in RBL‐2H3 mast cells, whereas 2 h‐heated Bilberon‐25 had no effect at any concentration studied. It is assumed that the inhibitory effect of bilberry anthocyanins on pruritus might be mediated, at least in part, by its inhibitory effect on mast cell degranulation. In conclusion, the anthocyanin‐rich but not anthocyanidin‐rich bilberry extract may be a useful dietary supplement for skin diseases involving pruritic symptoms, such as chronic allergic contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and rhinitis. 相似文献

Abstract A series of [60]fullerene pearl-necklace polyamides, consisting of equatorial-[60]fullerenobisacetic acid and various chromophoric aromatic diamines, were synthesized by a phosphorylation route using large amounts of triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing reagents with stepwise addition of the condensing reagents. In the present polymers, [60]fullerene pearls and diamine linkers were attached to one another by cyclopropane connectors. The polyamides had weight-average molecular weights (Mw)of 4.5-5.0×104 g/mol and inherent viscosities (n inh) of 0.3-0.4 dL/g in N, N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) at 30 °C. They had glass transition temperatures at 30-125 °C and decomposition temperatures at 300-310 °C. The UV-VIS spectra in DMAc exhibited broad absorption with λmax at 310-390 nm tailing to longer wavelengths. 相似文献

A continuous‐time plant with a discretized continuous‐time controller does not yield stability if the sampling rate is lower than some certain level. Thus far, high‐performance electronic control has made use of expensive hardware needed to implement discretized continuous‐time controllers; low‐cost hardware generally does not have a sufficiently high sampling rate. This technical note presents results comparing performance indexes with and without intersample behavior, and provides some answers to the question of how a low‐specification device can control a plant effectively. We consider a machine simulating wafer handling robots, which is an electromechanical system driven by a direct drive motor, at a semiconductor factory. We illustrate the controller design for the robot with and without intersample behavior, and present simulations and experimental results using these controllers. Taking intersample behavior into account proves to be effective in improving control performance and makes it possible to choose a relatively long sampling period. Controller design in terms of the performance index with intersample behavior makes it possible to deal with situations in which a sufficiently short sampling period may not be employed, and freedom of controller design may be widened, especially regarding the choice of the sampling period. 相似文献

This paper investigates the mutual grounding impedance between vertical grounding electrodes based on field measurements and FDTD simulations. In the case of vertical electrodes, the mutual impedance between the electrodes is almost completely independent of the electrode length, and thus the induced voltage is nearly constant as the electrode length becomes longer. This characteristic is different from that of an overhead conductor, where the electromagnetic‐induced voltage is proportional to the conductor length. The greater the separation distance between the electrodes, the smaller the induced voltage, as in the case of an overhead conductor. The propagation speed increases as the separation increases. It is found that the speed is not necessarily proportional to the inverse of the relative permittivity of the earth. 相似文献
