Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) generated at 13.56 MHz has been employed for high-rate deposition of device-quality hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H). It has been shown that an increase in the flow rate of a monosilane gas enhances the generation rate of deposition precursors, while the ion flux decreases and becomes saturated. The defect density reaches the minimum at a deposition rate of 2.3 nm/s. It has also been demonstrated that even at deposition rates around 4 nm/s, a-Si:H deposited at 150°C exhibits a subgap defect density lower than 6×1016 cm−3 after 12 h AM1 (100 mW/cm2) light soaking.  相似文献

Dielectric tunability has been extensively investigated in ferroelectric materials, which exhibit a negative tunability of dielectric permittivity in an external electric field. In contrast, positive tunability is rare and has been reported only in a few antiferroelectric materials. We present positive (and negative) tunability in the titanite, CaTiSiO5. The dielectric property of CaTiSiO5 was measured up to an extraordinarily high electric field of 40 MV/m. A nonlinear polarization field loop with no hysteresis was obtained. The dielectric permittivity of εr ~ 25 increases up to εr ~ 40 at 20 MV/m and room temperature. Although titanite has an antipolar structure and is expected to be “antiferroelectric,” its dielectric response in high electric fields up to ~40 MV/m differs from that of conventional antiferroelectrics. We demonstrate that the phase-transition temperature and dielectric tunability could be modulated through the chemical substitution of Ca1−xLaxTiSi1−xAlxO5, in which the destabilization of the long-range antipolar order is revealed by transmission electron microscopy analysis. These results indicate that the observed dielectric response to an electric field may originate from the unique features of the antipolar and domain structures in CaTiSiO5.  相似文献

A screening method is described for determining 200 pesticides, except dimethipin, divided into four groups by means of gas chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (GC/MS/MS) using an ion trap mass spectrometer equipped with automated gain control (AGC). The quantitation limit for 194 pesticides was 0.01 mg/kg on a crop basis, except for allidochlor, dimethoate, hexythiazox, methamidophos and triadimenol. The calibration curve of each pesticide was linear in the range of 0.04-5.0 microg/mL. One hundred and ninety-nine pesticides were added to matrix of potato, spinach, cabbage, apple, orange, soybean and unpolished rice at twice the limits of quantitation. The recoveries of 194 pesticides from all crops were satisfactory (50-150%) for screening purposes. Although some pesticides in apple and orange were not determined by selected ion monitoring (SIM) analysis at the limits of quantitation, all of them were identified by ion-trap GC/MS/MS at the same concentration. Thus, the ion trap GC/MS/MS technique is useful for the screening of residual pesticides present at low levels in agricultural products.  相似文献

Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) are attractive resources for regenerative medicine, but medical applications are hindered by their tumorigenic potential. Previously, a hPSC-specific lectin probe, rBC2LCN, was identified through comprehensive glycome analysis by using high-density lectin microarrays. Herein, a lectin–doxorubicin (DOX) prodrug conjugate, with controllable photolysis activation for the elimination of tumorigenic human induced pluripotent stem cells, has been developed. rBC2LCN was fused with a biotin-binding protein, tamavidin (BC2Tama), and the fusion protein was expressed in Escherichia coli and purified by means of affinity chromatography. BC2Tama was then conjugated with doxorubicin-photocleavable biotin (DOXPCB). The BC2Tama–DOXPCB conjugates were observed to bind to hPSCs followed by internalization. Upon exposure to ultraviolet light, DOX was released inside the cells, which allowed specific killing of the hPSCs. Thus, BC2Tama–DOXPCB should be useful for the targeted elimination of hPSCs contained in hPSC-derived cell therapy products. This is the first report of the generation of lectin–prodrug conjugates. BC2Tama should be applicable for the targeted delivery of various types of biotinylated compounds into hPSCs.  相似文献

A hypersingular time‐domain boundary element method (BEM) for transient elastodynamic crack analysis in two‐dimensional (2D), homogeneous, anisotropic, and linear elastic solids is presented in this paper. Stationary cracks in both infinite and finite anisotropic solids under impact loading are investigated. On the external boundary of the cracked solid the classical displacement boundary integral equations (BIEs) are used, while the hypersingular traction BIEs are applied to the crack‐faces. The temporal discretization is performed by a collocation method, while a Galerkin method is implemented for the spatial discretization. Both temporal and spatial integrations are carried out analytically. Special analytical techniques are developed to directly compute strongly singular and hypersingular integrals. Only the line integrals over an unit circle arising in the elastodynamic fundamental solutions need to be computed numerically by standard Gaussian quadrature. An explicit time‐stepping scheme is obtained to compute the unknown boundary data including the crack‐opening‐displacements (CODs). Special crack‐tip elements are adopted to ensure a direct and an accurate computation of the elastodynamic stress intensity factors from the CODs. Several numerical examples are given to show the accuracy and the efficiency of the present hypersingular time‐domain BEM. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The effect of preloading on crack nucleation time was examined with compact tension specimens having various notch radius in 0.1N-H2SO4 aqueous solution for 200°C tempered AISI 4340 steel. Crack nucleation time tn increases by preloading for a given apparent stress intensity factor Kp2. The curve K?2 vs. tn deviates upward from the curve for the non preloading case. A linear relationship between the crack nucleation time and parameter (2K?2/(π?)12?(2K?2/(π?)12)th) is seen in semi-log diagram, where (2K?2/(π?)12)th is taken as the value at tn=α due to preloading. The apparent threshold stress intensity factor increases with K?2 which is the apparent stress intensity factor of preloading. A detached crack is nucleated at some distance from the notch root and extends in a form of circle. This distance increases with increasing K?2. The effect of load reduction during crack growth was examined. When the K-value was reduced from K1 to K2, an incubation time was observed before the crack started growing under the K2-value. The incubation time tm tends to increase with increasing ΔK = K1-K2. The threshold stress intensity factor was also found to increase for high load reduction.In order to explain these experimental results, a new dislocation model is proposed on the basis of stress induced diffusion of hydrogen in high stress region ahead of the notch root or a crack. This model suggests that the change in the crack nucleation time and the increase of the incubation time due to preloading or load reduction are caused by reducing the hydrostatic pressure and by spreading the hydrogen saturated region which requires more time for the hydrogen accumulation due to preloading or load reduction. The theory predicts the experimentally observed relations between (2K?2/(π?)12 ? (2K?2/(π?)12)th) and tn and between log tin and ΔK.  相似文献

The Li ion storage properties of single-walled carbon nanotube peapods containing one of three organic molecules (9,10-dichloroanthracene, β-carotene, coronene) were measured. It was found by electrochemical charge-discharge measurements that the reversible storage capacity of the SWCNTs significantly increased as a result of the inclusion, although unfortunately the samples are still not appropriate for the practical use as an anode material in Li ion battery because of the high irreversible capacity (>900 mAh/g). In the most effective case, the tube containing the organic molecule can store about 2.5 times more Li ions compared to an empty tube.  相似文献

We demonstrate a method for successfully controlling carbon incorporation in AlAs layers grown by atomic layer epitaxy (ALE) using various GaAs substrates with different orientations. The number of alkyl radicals attached to an Al atom at the surface, which is a main factor in carbon incorporation, can be intentionally controlled by changing substrate orientation. We found that the carbon incorporation in ALE-AlAs using the (3 1 1)B surface is 2 x 1017,cm-3, which is the lowest value ever reported for ALE-AlAs that satisfies one-monolayer self-limiting growth conditions.  相似文献

Local density of states (LDOS) is obtained by the first principles calculation based on the density functional theory on the Si(0 0 1)2 × 1 surface and on the surface with an Al dimer. At an Al dimer, LDOS has a high intensity in the conduction band region, which cannot be seen on the Si(0 0 1)2 × 1 surface. This tendency is observed in STS measurements as well. The possibility for a microelementary analysis is presented by applying this method to other metal atoms on the Si surface. Furthermore, it is pointed out that STS measurements should be always performed at the same tip-sample separation to obtain reproducible STS spectrums.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: The serum concentration of the high-affinity growth hormone-binding protein (GHBP) is increased in obesity but the mechanisms are poorly understood. This study assessed the physiological mechanisms involved in the regulation of GHBP in adiposity. SUBJECTS AND MEASUREMENTS: We tested a number of obesity specific parameters for their association with GHBP. In this study, 199 normal or overweight children and adolescents (101 boys, 98 girls, aged (mean +/- s.d.): 13.7 +/- 2.3 y) underwent an anthropometric evaluation (circumference measurements and bioimpedance analysis) combined with blood withdrawal for the measurement of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I), insulin, leptin and GHBP (by specific RIA), uric acid, triglycerides and cholesterol. RESULTS: By linear regression analysis GHBP correlated significantly (P < 0.001) with percent body fat mass (r = 0.71), waist (r = 0.73) and hip (r = 0.69) circumference, weight (r = 0.61) waist hip ratio (WHR) (r = 0.54), as well as with the serum concentrations of leptin (r = 0.64), uric acid (r = 0.54), insulin (r = 0.45), LDL-cholesterol (r = 0.43), cholesterol (r =0.33), LDL/HDL ratio (r = 0.47), triglycerides (r = 0.30) and with height standard deviations scores (SDS) (r = 0.23). Age, gender and pubertal stage had no impact on GHBP. In a multiple regression analysis containing age and gender, as well as the anthropometric variables, percent fat mass and waist circumference, as independent variables, associations between GHBP and leptin (P < 0.001), cholesterol (P < 0.01), LDL-cholesterol (P = 0.01), LDL/HDL ratio (P = 0.02), triglycerides (P = 0.01) remained significant. In a final model using the stepwise analysis involving age, gender and all the independent predictors of GHBP, waist circumference (P < 0.001), accounted for 49.5% of the 60.0% total variability in GHBP, while the implication of leptin (P < 0.001), age (P < 0.01) and cholesterol (P < 0.05) increased the predicted variability for 7.5%, 1.9%, and 1.0%, respectively. Serum GHBP was significantly reduced in a subgroup of 104 overweight or obese patients during a diet-induced weight loss programme, the coefficient of correlation between GHBP and leptin after (r = 0.45, P < 0.001) and before weight reduction (r = 0.41, P < 0.001) were comparable. CONCLUSION: Waist circumference, an indicator of abdominal body fat mass, is a major determinant of GHBP levels during childhood, while leptin may be one candidate for a signal linking adipocytes to the growth hormone receptor related GHBP release. Additionally, elevated serum levels of GHBP may reflect metabolic disturbances of adiposity.  相似文献
