Garzan oil field is located at the south east of Turkey. It is a mature oil field and the reservoir is fractured carbonate reservoir. After producing about 1% original oil in place (OOIP) reservoir pressure started to decline. Waterflooding was started in order to support reservoir pressure and also to enhance oil production in 1960. Waterflooding improved the oil recovery but after years of flooding water breakthrough at the production wells was observed. This increased the water/oil ratio at the production wells. In order to enhance oil recovery again different techniques were investigated. Chemical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods are gaining attention all over the world for oil recovery. Surfactant injection is an effective way for interfacial tension (IFT) reduction and wettability reversal. In this study, 31 different types of chemicals were studied to specify the effects on oil production. This paper presents solubility of surfactants in brine, IFT and contact angle measurements, imbibition tests, and lastly core flooding experiments. Most of the chemicals were incompatible with Garzan formation water, which has high divalent ion concentration. In this case, the usage of 2-propanol as co-surfactant yielded successful results for stability of the selected chemical solutions. The results of the wettability test indicated that both tested cationic and anionic surfactants altered the wettability of the carbonate rock from oil-wet to intermediate-wet. The maximum oil recovery by imbibition test was reached when core was exposed 1-ethly ionic liquid after imbibition in formation water. Also, after core flooding test, it is concluded that considerable amount of oil can be recovered from Garzan reservoir by waterflooding alone if adverse effects of natural fractures could be eliminated.  相似文献

Among the thermoplastic elastomers that play important roles in the polymer industry due to their superior properties, styrene-based species and polyurethane block copolymers are of great interest. Poly(styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene) (SEBS) as a triblock copolymer seems to have the potential to meet many demands in different applications due to various industrial requirements where durability, biocompatibility, breaking elongation, and interfacial adhesion are important. In this study, the SEBS triblock copolymer was functionalized with natural (Satureja hortensis, SH) and synthetic (nanopowder, TiO2) agents to obtain composite nanofibers by electrospinning and electrospraying methods for use in biomedical and water filtration applications. The results were compared with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) composite nanofibers, which are commonly used in these fields. Here, functionalized SEBS nanofibers exhibited antibacterial effect while at the same time improving cell viability. In addition, because of successful water filtration by using the SEBS composite nanofibers, the material may have a good potential to be used comparably to TPU for the application.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the use of aminolysis, aminoglycolysis, and simultaneous aminolysis–hydrolysis products of waste PET for production of paint binder based on alkyd resin. For this purpose, first, aminolysis, aminoglycolysis, and simultaneous hydrolysis–aminolysis reactions of waste PET were carried out in the presence of different chemical agents in xylene medium at high pressures. Reactions of waste PET flakes obtained from grinding postconsumer water bottles were carried out in an autoclave at higher temperatures. Then, four alkyd resins, formulated to have oil content 40–50%, were prepared using these depolymerization products. One of resins is “reference alkyd resin” which was prepared by using soybean oil fatty acid, phthalic anhydride, glycerine, and ethylene glycol for comparison. Other three alkyds are “depolymerization product‐based alkyd resins” in which depolymerization products is used instead of ethylene glycol. Then, the physical and chemical surface coating properties and thermal behaviors of alkyd resins films were investigated comparatively. As a result, we concluded that aminolysis, aminoglycolysis, and simultaneous aminolysis‐hydrolysis products of waste PET are suitable for manufacturing both air drying and oven curing paint binder based on alkyd resins. The film prepared from alkyd resin based on simultaneous aminolysis‐hydrolysis product showed extremely good surface coating properties and thermal stability. POLYM. ENG. In this study, the preparation and characterization of ionic liquid (IL) intercalated montmorillonite (MMT) and their application as a micro-solid phase extraction material for the determination of Chlorpyrifos (CP) pesticide in water samples were reported. The ionic liquids bearing different chain lengths [1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium bromide (C8mimBr), 1-methyl-3-undecyl-imidazolium bromide (C12mimBr) and 1-methyl-3-octadecyl-imidazolium bromide (C18mimBr)] were intercalated in the galleries of MMT. The IL-intercalated MMTs were characterized by means of XRD and TG methods. The (C12mimBr)-intercalated MMT had the highest sorption efficiency for the CP, which was 32 times higher than the original MMT. We also optimized the parameters for extracting CP from the (C12mimBr)-intercalated MMT.  相似文献

In this study, to evaluate the in vitro bioaccessibility of eight different pekmez and pestil samples, total phenolics, flavonoids, proanthocyanidins, anthocyanins and antioxidant capacity were determined at different phases of simulated gastrointestinal (GI) digestion. For the analysis of antioxidant activity, four different methods were used including 2,2‐azinobis(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline)‐6‐sulfonic acid, 1,1‐diphenyl‐2‐picrylhydrazil, ferric reducing antioxidant power and cupric ion reducing antioxidant capacity. The results revealed that the dialysed fraction (IN) represented 12–50%, 3–17% and 3–72% of the total phenolics, flavonoids and proanthocyanidins, respectively. Moreover, total antioxidant capacity of IN fraction was 2–57% of the initial values obtained for pekmez and pestil samples. To identify the influence of simulated in vitro GI digestion on total anthocyanins, only black mulberry molasses (pekmez) and plum leather (pestil) were analysed and according to the results no anthocyanins were detected in the IN fraction for both samples. The present study presented a detailed insight of bioaccessibility of polyphenols in various pekmez and pestil samples.  相似文献

Nickel nanoparticles on mass production scale have been prepared using a modified polyol process with Ni(CH3COO)2?4H2O, NaOH, 1,2 propandiol and hydrazinium hydroxide (N2H4?H2O). A?mixture of face centered cubic (fcc) metallic nickel nanoparticles with 12 nm diameter were obtained. We have experimentally studied the structure of nanoparticle by X-ray and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM, EDS). The magnetic properties of the prepared Ni film have been studied by Ferromagnetic Resonance (FMR) technique, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). The effective g-factor and magnetic anisotropy constant were determined as g eff=2.25 and K eff=85?Oe, respectively.  相似文献

An investigation of antimicrobial properties of 12 novel modified polymer derived from the condensation reaction of (aminomethyl)polystyrene and four substitute salicylaldehyde (2-hydroxy benzaldehyde, 5-fluoro-2 hydroxy benzaldehyde, 5-fluoro-3-chloro-salicylaldehyde and 5-fluoro-3-methyl-salicylaldehyde) has been carried out and Cr(III) and Ni(II) complexes have been prepared. Modified polymers were characterized by magnetic susceptibility, elemental analyses, and spectral studies. The 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra analysis of the polymeric carbinolamine/azomethine were determined. In addition, surface morphology and composition were determined by SEM/EDX. Thermo gravimetric analyses of polymers were carried out in nitrogen atmosphere. Antibacterial activities of the polymers attached carbinolamine/azomethine and their complexes were studied by the well-diffusion method against Listeria monocytogenes 4b, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi H, Brucella abortus, Staphylococcus epidermis sp., Micrococcus luteus, Shigella dysenteria type 10, Bacillus cereus, Pseudomonas putida and antifungal activity against Candida albicans.  相似文献

The paper reports a study of the surface and ground water in Solakl? Basin, Trabzon, from an assessment of 33 sampling points. Many of the parameters analysed are only marginally acceptable as potable water, even though the samples were collected during the wet season. The highest concentrations of contaminants were found downstream of the centres of population. The results indicate regular monitoring is required and some measures should be taken to protect the limited resources.  相似文献

Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to compare the Vickers hardness numbers (VHNs), roughness numbers (RNs) and biological compatibility of glass carbomer (Glass Fill), resin-modified glass ionomer (Fuji II LC) and self-adhering flowable composite (Vertise Flow) materials. Materials and methods: Disc-shaped specimens of test materials (n = 15/group) were prepared, and VHNs and RNs were determined after 24 h. A direct contact test was used for cytotoxicity evaluation. Cell viability was measured for 24 h post-exposition with a photometric test (MTT assay; n = 16). Data were analysed using one-way analysis of variance with a post hoc Tukey’s test, the Kruskal–Wallis test and the Mann–Whitney U-test (p < 0.05). Results: Fuji II LC had the highest VHN. The VHN of Fuji II LC differed significantly from those of the other materials (p < 0.05). The RNs of Fuji II and Glass Fill were higher than that of Vertise Flow (p < 0.05). The self-adhering materials were not significantly cytotoxic compared with the control group (p > 0.05). Conclusions: The materials tested in this study showed a similar lack of cytotoxicity. The VHN of Fuji II LC was the highest, and the RN of Vertise Flow was the lowest.  相似文献

In this paper, O-alkylation of isovanillin with unusual phase transfer catalysts alkandiyl-α,ω-bis(dimethylalkylammonium bromide) dimeric surfactants (also known as gemini surfactants) is described. Some dimeric surfactants with simple hydrophobic alkyl chains and others with hydrophobic alkyl chains containing ester functionalities with different lengths were synthesized and characterized in our laboratory. The alkylation of isovanillin with alkyl halide was successively carried out in the presence of potassium carbonate and a phase transfer catalyst in tetrahydrofuran. The same reactions were also performed with both the traditional phase transfer catalyst tetrabutylammonium bromide and without any catalyst. The results were compared with those of dimeric surfactants. Consequently, it was expressed that alkandiyl-α,ω-bis(dimethylalkylammonium bromide) dimeric surfactants successively exhibit the character of phase transfer catalysts through environmentally friendly procedures under mild conditions. The most significant feature of this work is that dimeric surfactants have been determined to act as phase transfer agents.  相似文献
