Q β values of the neutron-rich isotopes of 160-165Eu and 163Gd were measured for the first time using a total absorption bismuth germanate (BGO) detector, and previously obtained data on 158, 159Pm , 159, 161Sm and 166Tb were re-analyzed. These radioactive sources were prepared by an on-line mass separator (Tokai-ISOL) following the 238U (p,f reaction. The deduced Q β values are the following: 6085(80)keV for 158Pm , 3805(65)keV for 159Sm , 5460(140)keV for 159Pm , 4705(60)keV for 160Eu , 5065(130)keV for 161Sm , 3705(60)keV for 161Eu , 5575(60)keV for 162Eu , 4690(70)keV for 163Eu , 3170(70)keV for 163Gd , 6430(70)keV for 164Eu , 5800(120)keV for 165Eu , and 4695(70)keV for 166Tb . Moreover, the deduced mass excesses and two-neutron separation energies ( S 2n values) were compared with those of the atomic mass evaluations and theoretical predictions.  相似文献

From the ^12 C(π^+,K^+)^12 AC reaction the γ -rays of 261.6±0.24 ke V(7/2^+ →5/2^+)and 1481.7±0.7 ke V(1/2^+ →5/2^+) of ^11 A B,and 2667.3±2.8 keV(1^- 2 → 2^- 1)of ^12 A C hypernuclei have been identified using a large germanium detector array Hyperball2 at K6 beam line of KEK. The observed energies of the transitions 1481.7keV and 261.6 keV are significantly different from the values predicted by the shell model using the △ and SN parameters determined from the ^7 △ Li data.  相似文献

A new method for the quantitative analysis of monkey serum propofol, which is widely used as an anaesthetic agent, was developed by utilizing a temperature-responsive polymer of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) and butyl methacrylate (BMA) as the stationary phase of HPLC–fluorescence detection. This poly(NIPAAm-co-BMA) copolymer undergoes a reversible phase transition from a hydrophilic to a hydrophobic microstructure when triggered by change in the temperature. Also this chromatographic system is possible to separate the analytes by using only water as a mobile phase. A pretreatment of the serum (80 μL) was only solid-phase extraction, and the recovery rate of propofol and internal standard was more than 77%, respectively. This method covered the calibration range from 0.5 μg/mL to 10 μg/mL and allowed a reproducible quantification of the serum propofol in administrated monkey serum. The intra- and inter-assay relative standard deviations were less than 14.1%. In addition, there was good relationship of the quantification values between the developed method and the widely used reversed-phase HPLC method. Our developed method has proven to be useful for a simple analysis of propofol in clinical practice, because the avoidance of complicated mobile phase preparation was possible, and only temperature changing could regulate the retention time of the analyte. In addition, by using water instead of fossil fuel, it is the ideal analytical method according to green chemistry.  相似文献

Structural changes in poly(L -alanine)(PLA), a model compound related to tussah silk fibroin, induced by heat treatment have been studied by differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy. PLA heated below 300°C shows x-ray patterns very similar to those of the α-helix crystalline phase, in addition to the diffraction patterns due to the β structure. Samples heated at 368°C exhibit predominantly the diffraction patterns due to the β crystalline phase. From infrared spectra, PLA samples heated below 280°C are found to be composed of all three molecular conformations: β sheet, random coil, and α helix. The intensity of the infrared absorption at 650 cm?1 (amide V) assigned to the random coil conformation is decreased by heat treatment above 325°C. The content of the β-sheet structure remains almost constant when the specimen is heated below 325°C, and increases abruptly on heating to around 335°C, while the random coil content is decreased abruptly by heat treatment above 335°C. The α-helix content does not change, regardless of heat treatment. It is suggested therefore that the random coil conformation of PLA transforms directly into the β sheet on heat treatment above 335°C.  相似文献

The dependence of the liquid properties for fabricating convex microstructures on paraffin substrates using laser heating is characterized. By analyzing the heat transfer from the material to the liquid, a highly linear relationship between the heights of the fabricated microstructures and the heat-transfer coefficients is confirmed. In addition, the impact factor of each liquid property is described. With this result, one can predict the features of the shapes of structures prior to fabrication. We can perceive a surface through another surface. This perception is called transparency. It is known that transparency can be perceived even if the stimulus conditions are not consistent with physical conditions for a real transparent surface. In this study, we measured the ranges of luminance and chromaticity of the overlapping area of two crossed layers at which a surface was perceived as chromatically-uniform transparent. As the results, the luminance range of the overlapping area existed around or near the luminance of the inducing area. The upper and lower limits of the luminance range were higher for the dark background than for the light background. Moreover, the chromatic range existed around the additive colormixture line between two chromaticities of the inducing areas for both dark and light backgrounds. This indicates that the perceptual transparency mechanism would divide the color of an additive color mixture into the original colors that exist in the inducing areas. We noticed that the perceptual appearance of the stimulus changed greatly depending on the luminances of the overlapping area and the background. These differences in perceptual appearance would be a factor explaining individual difference and deciding the luminance conditions for transparency.  相似文献

This study examines the perception of short and long vowels in Arabic and Japanese by three groups of listeners differing in their first languages (L1): Arabic, Japanese, and Persian. While Persian uses the same alphabet as Arabic and Iranian students learn Arabic in school, the two languages are typologically unrelated. Further, unlike Arabic or Japanese, vowel length may no longer be contrastive in modern Persian. In this study, a question of interest was whether Persian listeners' foreign language learning experience or Japanese listeners' L1 phonological experience might help them to accurately process short and long vowels in Arabic. In Experiment 1, Arabic and Japanese listeners were more accurate than Persian listeners in discriminating vowel length contrasts in their own L1 only. In Experiment 2, Arabic and Japanese listeners were more accurate than Persian listeners in identifying the length categories in the "other" unknown language as well as in their own L1. The difference in the listeners' perceptual performance between the two experiments supports the view that long-term L1 representations may be invoked to a greater extent in the identification than discrimination test. The present results highlight the importance of selecting the appropriate test for assessing cross-language speech perception.  相似文献

We have studied the crystallization time dependence of the epitaxial YBCO films (t = 0.8 μm) grown on CeO2-buffered SrTiO3 substrates by fluorine-free metal–organic deposition using uv-lamp irradiation (uv-MOD). As increasing the time (T0) for heat treatment at the reaction temperature (760 °C) from 0 to 90 min, Jc and the YBCO 0 0 l XRD intensity are steeply increased and reach their maximum values at T0 = 10 min. This suggests that the heat treatment required for YBCO crystallization is significantly shortened in uv-MOD compared to conventional all-pyrolytic F-free MOD processes, which consume T0 = 90–150 min for crystallizing 0.4–0.5-μm-thick films. Scanning electron microscope measurement revealed a drastic change in surface morphology between T0 = 8 and 10 min, showing a good correspondence to the Jc and XRD data which suggest that the epitaxial growth reaches the film surface at the very early stage in the heat treatment.  相似文献

The Hall effect is investigated in thin-film samples of iron–chalcogenide superconductors in detail. The Hall coefficient (RH) of FeTe and Fe(Se1–xTex) exhibits a similar positive value around 300 K, indicating that the high-temperature normal state is dominated by hole-channel transport. FeTe exhibits a sign reversal from positive to negative across the transition to the low-temperature antiferromagnetic state, indicating the occurrence of drastic reconstruction in the band structure. The mobility analysis using the carrier density theoretically calculated reveals that the mobility of holes is strongly suppressed to zero, and hence the electric transport looks to be dominated by electrons. The Se substitution to Te suppresses the antiferromagnetic long-range order and induces superconductivity instead. The similar mobility analysis for Fe(Se0.4Te0.6) and Fe(Se0.5Te0.5) thin films shows that the mobility of electrons increases with decreasing temperature even in the paramagnetic state, and keeps sufficiently high values down to the superconducting transition temperature. From the comparison between FeTe and Fe(Se1–xTex), it is suggested that the coexistence of ‘itinerant’ carriers both in electron and hole channels is indispensable for the occurrence of superconductivity.  相似文献
