A novel Markov-random-field model for speckled synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery is derived according to the physical, spatial statistical properties of speckle noise in coherent imaging. A convex Gibbs energy function for speckled images is derived and utilized to perform speckle-compensating image estimation. The image estimation is formed by computing the conditional expectation of the noisy image at each pixel given its neighbors, which is further expressed in terms of the derived Gibbs energy function. The efficacy of the proposed technique, in terms of reducing speckle noise while preserving spatial resolution, is studied by using both real and simulated SAR imagery. Using a number of commonly used metrics, the performance of the proposed technique is shown to surpass that of existing speckle-noise-filtering methods such as the Gamma MAP, the modified Lee, and the enhanced Frost.  相似文献

Black Sea molluscs and gastropods are the most studied organisms from the Romanian littoral zone. In particular, those from the Mytilidae species are of great interest because biochemical investigations have shown that they can be sources of biological active substances which can have different applications (e.g. food additives). We report here the extraction of lipids from two different species of molluscs (Mytilus galloprovincialis L., Mediterranean mussel) and gastropods (Rapana venosa, hard-shell clam). The extracts were evaluated in terms of antioxidant and composition properties and their healing properties were tested on skin burns in Wistar rats. Our studies proved that the two lipid extracts contained a relatively complex distribution of compounds, in terms of characteristic indices, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and vitamins E and D. The presence of such compounds rendered the extracts very efficient in healing induced skin burns in Wistar rats. The histological analysis showed a reduction in the time of healing (12-13 and 13-15 days for the Mytilus galloprovincialis (L.) Rapana venosa extracts, respectively) compared to 20-22 for untreated animals, based on results from tissues and blood samples. Our investigations have been proved to be promising in terms of future potential applications of the extracts as skin-care products, cosmetics and/or pharmaceutical preparations owing to their dermorestitutive properties.  相似文献

Adsorption of Neolan Blue 2G (Acid Blue 158) and Basic Methylene Blue (Basic Blue 9) was investigated using a hybrid adsorbent that was prepared by pyrolysing a mixture of carbon and flyash at 1:1 ratio. A 2(4) full factorial central composite design with nine replicates at the center point and thus a total of 31 experiments were successfully employed for batch experimental design and analysis of the results. The combined effect of pH, temperature, particle size and time on the dye adsorption was studied. An empirical model was developed and validated applying ANOVA analysis incorporating interaction effects of all parameters and optimized using response surface methodology. The optimum pH, temperature, particle size and time were found to be 2.20, 27.85 degrees C, 0.0565 mm, 245 min, respectively, for Acid Blue 158 and those for Basic Blue 9 were 13.40, 28.45 degrees C, 0.0555 mm and 230 min, respectively. Complete removal (100%) was observed for both the dyes using the hybrid adsorbent.  相似文献

This paper reports the synthesis of Al-doped PbS (PbS:Al) thin films by spray pyrolysis technique on glass substrates. Al doping concentration is varied as 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 at.% in undoped PbS. Undoped and doped films exhibit cubic crystal structure with a (2 0 0) preferential orientation. The 2θ value of the doped films shifts towards higher Bragg angles confirming a contraction in their unit cell volume. The crystallite size values determined using the Scherrer formula decreased from 27.88 to 25.79 nm with increase in Al doping concentration. EDX spectra confirmed the presence of Al in the doped films. Increased transparency and blue shift in the optical band gap is observed with Al doping. The resistivity range of all the films were found to be in the order of 102 Ω-cm. Increased transparency, widened band gap and decreased resistivity observed make PbS:Al films suitable for tandem solar cells which uses multilayered pn junctions.  相似文献

Silver doped tin oxide (SnO2:Ag) nanopowders were synthesized by a simple soft chemical route with 0, 5, 10 and 15 wt% concentrations of Ag. The structural, morphological, optical, photoluminescence and photocatalytic properties of the synthesized samples were studied and the results obtained are reported in this paper. XRD studies confirm the polycrystalline nature of the synthesized samples. The undoped and doped samples exhibit a strong (1 0 1) preferential growth. Decreased crystallite size is observed with Ag doping. Nanosized grains were observed for the doped samples. Peak related to Sn–O–Sn lattice vibration is observed for both the undoped and doped samples in the FTIR spectra. Peaks related to oxygen vacancies were observed at 362 and 499 nm for all the samples in the PL spectra. Enhanced photocatalytic activity was observed for the doped samples and the SnO2:Ag nanopowder with 10 wt% Ag doping concentration exhibited maximum photodegradation efficiency against the degradation of methyl orange dye.  相似文献

Excellent electrical characteristics of RF-sputtered Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) thin-film capacitors with iridium (Ir) electrodes were obtained and the influence of Ir on device properties was investigated. In contrast to conventional Pt-electroded system, BST capacitors with Ir electrodes exhibit higher polarization and slightly higher leakage current. The stronger crystallinity of a thin BST layer (~70 Å) initially grown on Ir substrate is believed to be the cause for higher charge storage density of the Ir-electroded capacitors. However, this higher polarization is accompanied by higher dielectric dispersion (3.12% per decade for Ir versus 1.98% for Pt electrodes). On the other hand, leakage current appears to be dominated by the Schottky barrier formed by Ir-BST and Pt-BST contacts, respectively, at high field. The analysis from temperature-dependent J-V data indicates a lower barrier height for the Ir-BST contact than Pt-BST contact. The slightly higher leakage current density of the BST capacitors with Ir electrodes can thus be attributed to the lower barrier height  相似文献

The development of cellulose acetate blend membranes using a commercial grade Mycell cellulose acetate and cellulose diacetate with suitable pore structure is discussed. These membranes were characterized in terms of resistance of the membrane, pure water flux, the molecular weight cutoff, water content, pore size, and porosity. The removal of copper metal ions by this blend membrane using polyethyleneimine as a chelating agent was studied. The effects of copper ion concentration and casting solution composition on separation are also discussed. A series of novel cationic gemini surfactants were synthesized from corresponding amido-amines in a single step reaction. The amido-amines were obtained from long chain carboxylic acids and 3-N,N-dimethylamino-1-propyl-amine with excellent isolated yield (up to 95 %). All the synthesized quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs) were further investigated for surface active properties. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) and the effectiveness of surface tension reduction were determined. The surface tension measurements of newly synthesized gemini surfactants showed good water solubility, and low CMC values, had great efficiency in lowering the surface tension and a strong adsorption at the air/water interface than the corresponding monomeric surfactants. Further, the antibacterial activity of the synthesized QACs against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria was also investigated.  相似文献

Recently, the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) has initiated the research in the Fifth Generation (5G) network to fulfill the security characteristics of IoT-based services. 3GPP has proposed the 5G handover key structure and framework in a recently published technical report. In this paper, we evaluate the handover authentication mechanisms reported in the literature and identify the security vulnerabilities such as violation of global base-station attack, failure of key forward/backward secrecy, de-synchronization attack, and huge network congestion. Also, these protocols suffer from high bandwidth consumption that doesn’t suitable for energy-efficient mobile devices in the 5G communication network. To overcome these issues, we introduce Secrecy and Efficiency Aware Inter-gNB (SEAI) handover Authentication and Key Agreement (AKA) protocol. The formal security proof of the protocol is carried out by Random Oracle Model (ROM) to achieve the session key secrecy, confidentiality, and integrity. For the protocol correctness and achieve the mutual authentication, simulation is performed using the AVISPA tool. Also, the informal security evaluation represents that the protocol defeats all the possible attacks and achieves the necessary security properties.Moreover, the performance evaluation of the earlier 5G handover schemes and proposed SEAI handover AKA protocol is carried out in terms of communication, transmission, computation overhead, handover delay, and energy consumption. From the evaluations, it is observed that the SEAI handover AKA protocol obtains significant results and strengthens the security of the 5G network during handover scenarios.
