Orthotropic materials weakened by a doubly periodic array of cracks under far-field antiplane shear are investigated, where the fundamental cell contains four cracks of unequal size. By applying the mapping technique, the elliptical function theory and the theory of analytical function boundary value problems, a closed form solution of the whole-field stress is obtained. The exact formulae for the stress intensity factor at the crack tip and the effective antiplane shear modulus of the cracked orthotropic material are derived. A comparison with the finite element method shows the efficiency and accuracy of the present method. Several illustrative examples are provided, and an interesting phenomenon is observed, that is, the stress intensity factor and the dimensionless effective modulus are independent of the material property for a doubly periodic cracked isotropic material, but depend strongly on the material property for the doubly periodic cracked orthotropic material. Such a phenomenon for antiplane problems is similar to that for in-plane problems. The present solution can provide benchmark results for other numerical and approximate methods.  相似文献

本文运用复变函数及积分方程方法,求解了圆形域多圆孔多裂纹反平面问题,建立了两种类型的基本解。复叠加原理和所得的基本解并沿国圆孔和裂纹表面取待定的基本解密度函数,可得到一组以基本解密度函数为未知函数的Fredholm积分方程。通过该积分方程组的数值可以得到密度函数的离散值,进而得到了裂纹尖端的应力强度因子。  相似文献

Static and dynamic problems for the elastic plates and membranes periodically perforated by holes of different shapes are solved using the combination of the singular perturbation technique and the multi-scale asymptotic homogenization method. The problems of bending and vibration of perforated plates are considered. Using the asymptotic homogenization method the original boundary-value problems are reduced to the combination of two types of problems. First one is a recurrent system of unit cell problems with the conditions of periodic continuation. And the second problem is a homogenized boundary-value problem for the entire domain, characterized by the constant effective coefficients obtained from the solution of the unit cell problems. In the present paper the perforated plates with large holes are considered, and the singular perturbation method is used to solve the pertinent unit cell problems. Matching of limiting solutions for small and large holes using the two-point Padé approximants is also accomplished, and the analytical expressions for the effective stiffnesses of perforated plates with holes of arbitrary sizes are obtained.  相似文献

The antiplane problem of circular arc rigid line inclusions under antiplane concentrated force and longitudinal shear loading was dealt with. By using RiemannSchwaz‘s symmetry principle integrated with the singularity analysis of complex functions, the general solution of the problem and the closed form solutions for some important practical problems were presented. The stress distribution in the immediate vicinity of circular arc rigid line end was examined in detail. The results show that the singular stress fields near the rigid inclusion tip possess a square-root singularity similar to that for the corresponding crack problem under antiplane shear loading, but no oscillatory character. Furthermore, the stresses are found to depend on geometrical dimension, loading conditions and materials parameters. Some practical results concluded are in agreement with the previous solutions.  相似文献

In the present work, applying the asymptotic homogenization method (AHM), the derivation of the antiplane effective properties for three-phase magneto-electro-elastic fiber unidirectional reinforced composite with parallelogram cell symmetry is reported. Closed analytical expressions for the antiplane local problems on the periodic cell and the corresponding effective coefficients are provided. Matrix and inclusions materials belong to symmetry class 6mm. Numerical results are reported and compared with the eigenfunction expansion-variational method (EEVM) and other theoretical models. Good agreements are found for these comparisons. In addition, with the herein implemented solution, it is possible to reproduce the effective properties of the reduced cases such as piezoelectric or elastic composites obtaining good agreements with previous reports.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel efficient procedure to analyze the two-phase confocally elliptical inclusion embedded in an unbounded matrix under antiplane loadings. The antiplane loadings considered in this paper include a point force and a screw dislocation or a far-field antiplane shear. The analytical continuation method together with an alternating technique is used to derive the general forms of the elastic fields in terms of the corresponding problem subjected to the same loadings in a homogeneous body. This approach could lead to some interesting simplifications in solution procedures, and the derived analytical solution for singularity problems could be employed as a Green's function to investigate matrix cracking in the corresponding crack problems. Several specific solutions are provided in closed form, which are verified by comparison with existing ones. Numerical results are provided to show the effect of the material mismatch, the aspect ratio, and the loading condition on the elastic field due to the presence of inhomogeneities.  相似文献

A theory of general solutions of plane problems is developed for the coupled equations in plane elasticity of two-dimensional octagonal quasicrystals. In virtue of the operator method, the general solutions of the antiplane and inplane problems are given constructively with two displacement functions. The introduced displacement functions have to satisfy higher order partial differential equations, and therefore it is difficult to obtain rigorous analytic solutions directly and is not applicable in most cases. In this case, a decomposition and superposition procedure is employed to replace the higher order displacement functions with some lower order displacement functions, and accordingly the general solutions are further simplified in terms of these functions. In consideration of different cases of characteristic roots, the general solution of the antiplane problem involves two cases, and the general solution of the inplane problem takes three cases, but all are in simple forms that are convenient to be applied. Furthermore, it is noted that the general solutions obtained here are complete in x 3-convex domains.   相似文献

Static problems for the elastic plates and rods periodically perforated by small holes of different shapes are solved using the asymptotic approach based on the combination of the asymptotic technique and the multi-scale homogenization method. Using the asymptotic homogenization method the original boundary-value problem is reduced to the combination of two types of problems. First one is a recurrent system of unit cell problems with the conditions of periodic continuation. And the second problem is a homogenized boundary-value problem for the entire domain, characterized by the constant effective coefficients obtained from the solution of the unit cell problems. The combination of the perturbation method and the technique of successive approximations is applied for the solution of the unit cell problems. Taking into the account small size of holes the method of perturbation of the shape of the boundary and the Schwarz alternating method are used. The problems of torsion of a rod with perforated cross-section; deflection of the perforated membrane loaded by a normal load; and bending of perforated plates with circular and square holes are considered consecutively. The error of the applied asymptotic techniques is estimated and the high accuracy of the obtained solutions is demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problems of circular-arc crack between bonded dissimilar materials under antiplane concentrated forces. By applying the analytic continuation technique and the analyzing method of the Singularity in complex functions, we obtain universal solutions for the problems. By using Stroh's formalism and the conformal mapping technique, this paper derives simple explicit Green's functions of a piezoelectric anisotropic body with a free or fixed hyperbolic boundary. The corresponding elastic fields in the medium are obtained, too. In particular, degenerated solutions of an external crack from those of a hyperbolic problem are analysed in detail. Then the singular stress fields and the fracture mechanics parameters are found. The solutions obtained are valid not only for plane and antiplane problems but also for the coupled ones between inplane and outplane deformations.  相似文献

Damaged nonlinear antiplane shear problems with a variety of singularities are studied analytically. A deformation plasticity theory coupled with damage is employed in analysis. The effect of microscopic damage is considered in terms of continuum damage mechanics approach. An exact solution for the general damaged nonlinear singular antiplane shear problem is derived in the stress plane by means of a hodograph transformation, then corresponding higher order asymptotic solutions are obtained by reversing the stress plane solution to the physical plane. As example, traction free sharp notch and crack, rigid sharp wedge and flat inclusion, and mixed boundary sharp notch problems are investigated, respectively. Consequently, higher order fields are obtained, in which analytical expressions of the dominant and second order singularity exponents and angular distribution functions of the near tip fields are derived. Effects of the damage and hardening exponents of materials and the geometric angle of notch/wedge on the near tip quantities are discussed in detail. It is found that damage leads to a weaker dominant singularity of stress, but to little stronger singularities of the dominant and second order terms of strain compared to that for undamaged material. It is also seen that damage has important effect on the angular distribution functions of the near tip stress and strain fields. As special cases, higher order analytical solutions of the crack and rigid flat inclusion tip fields are obtained, respectively, by reducing the notch/wedge tip solutions. Effects of damage and hardening exponents on the dominant and second order terms in the solutions of the crack and inclusion tip fields are discussed.  相似文献

The antiplane problem of the interaction between a main crack and an arbitrarily located elastic elliptical inclusion near its tip is addressed in the current study. The analysis is based on the use of the complex potentials for the antiplane problem, Laurent series expansion method and an appropriate superposition scheme. The stress intensity factor at the main crack is obtained in a general series form. Explicit asymptotic solutions are also derived by using a perturbation technique and retaining the leading order terms in series expansion. The present solutions are shown to coincide with the Taylor expansion of exact solutions for special cases available in the literature. Discussed are changes in the crack tip stress intensity which can be enhanced or suppressed depending on the location of the elliptical inclusion. The explicit solutions provided herein are well suited for the further quantitative analysis of toughening mechanisms in ceramic composite materials.  相似文献
