Let the concentrated forces and the centers of pressure with unknown density functions x(ξ) and y(ξ) respectively be distributed along the axis z outside the solid, then one can reduce an axismmetric loading problem of solids of revolution to two simultaneous Fredholm integral equations. An iteration method for solving such equations is duscussed. A lemma equivalent to E. Rakotch’s contractive mapping theorem and a theorem concerning the convergent proof of the iteration method are presented.  相似文献

The existence of solutions to the Signorini problem with Coulomb friction is a long standing open question. We prove the existence of generalized solutions that satisfy the pointwise Coulomb friction conditions on the entire interface and the normal nonpenetration condition on the complement of a subset with arbitrarily small but possibly positive measure. Furthermore, the penetration itself can also be made arbitrarily small. Although “measure zero” instead of “arbitrarily small measure” would be needed to fully resolve the issue, these generalized solutions seem to be the closest answer available to date. Their existence is proved by a suitable application of Ky Fan's fixed point theorem for multi-valued maps. The same method can be used with a number of variants involving contact of two or more elastic bodies and possible debonding phenomena. By combining of the second gradient operator, the second class of integral theorems, the Gaussian-curvature-based integral theorems and the Gaussian (or spherical) mapping, a series of invariants or geometric conservation quantities under Gaussian (or spherical) mapping are revealed. By using an existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of set-valued mappings in G-convex spaces due to the author, some new nonempty intersection theorems for a family of set-valued mappings were established in noncompact product G-convex spaces. As applications, some equilibrium existence theorems for a system of generalized vector equilibrium problems were proved in noncompact product G-convex spaces. The geometric formulation of motion of the first-order linear homogenous scleronomous nonholonomic system subjected to active forces is studied with the nonholonomic mapping theory. The quasi-Newton law, the quasi-momentum theorem, and the second kind Lagrange equation of dynamical systems are obtained in the Riemann-Cartan configuration spaces. By the nonholonomic mapping, a Euclidean configuration space or a Riemann configuration space of a dynamical system can be mapped into a Riemann-Cartan configuration space with torsion. The differential equations of motion of the dynamical system can be obtained in its Riemann-Cartan configuration space by the quasi-Newton law or the quasi-momentum theorem. For a constrained system, the differential equations of motion in its Riemann-Cartan configuration space may be simpler than the equations in its Euclidean configuration space or its Riemann configuration space. Therefore, the nonholonomic mapping theory can solve some constrained problems, which are difficult to be solved by the traditional analytical mechanics method. Three examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

The uniqueness theorem and the theorem of reciprocity in the linearized porous piezoelectricity are established under the assumption of positive definiteness of elastic and electric fields. General theorems in the linear theory of porous piezoelectric materials are proved for the quasi-static electric field approximation. The uniqueness theorem is also proved without using the positive definiteness of the elastic field. An eigenvalue problem associated with free vibrations of a porous piezoelectric body is studied using the abstract formulation. Some properties of operators are also proved. The problem of frequency shift due to small disturbances, based on an abstract formulation, is studied using a variational and operator approach. A perturbation analysis of a special case is also given.  相似文献
