κ-Gorenstein Modules

Let A and F be artin algebras and ∧UГa paper, we first introduce the notion of k-Gorenstein faithfully balanced selforthogonal bimodule. In this modules with respect to ∧UГ and then characterize it in terms of the U-resolution dimension of some special injective modules and the property of the functors Ext^i （Ext^i （-, U）, U） preserving monomorphisms, which develops a classical result of Auslander. As an application, we study the properties of dual modules relative to Gorenstein bimodules. In addition, we give some properties of ∧UГwith finite left or right injective dimension.

This paper characterizes the multiplication operator semigroup of semiring semigroup by using the tensor product of semigroups, and by using the endomorphism semigroup, and considers some properties of the multiplication operator semigroup of semiring semigroup.     

Rectangular Ring Congruences on an E-inversive Semiring

In this paper, we discussed the property of rectangular band semiring congruence and ring congruence on a semiring and gave some characterizations and structure of rectangular ring congruence on an E-inversive semiring.     

On corepresentations of multiplier Hopf algebras

We present a general construction producing a unitary corepresentation of a multiplier Hopf algebra in itself and study RR-corepresentations of twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra. Then we investigate some properties of functors, integrals and morphisms related to the categories of the crossed modules and covariant modules over multiplier Hopf algebras. By doing so, we can apply our theory to the case of group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras, in particular, the case of Hopf group-coalgebras.

Some Properties of Artin-Rees Modules and Rings

The class of Artin-Rees modules is large.It contains modules satisfying (accr).In this paper, we investigate such modules and show that some properties of modules satisfying (accr) can be generalized to modules of this class.     

A Generalization of Gorenstein Injective and Flat Mo dules

In this article, we introduce and study the concept of n-Gorenstein injective(resp., n-Gorenstein flat) modules as a nontrivial generalization of Gorenstein injective(resp., Gorenstein flat) modules. We investigate the properties of these modules in various ways. For example, we show that the class of n-Gorenstein injective(resp., n-Gorenstein flat) modules is closed under direct sums and direct products for n ≥ 2. To this end, we first introduce and study the notions of n-injective modules and n-flat modules.     

Some Results for Formal Local Cohomology Modules

Let （R, m） be a commutative Noetherian local ring, I an ideal of R and M a finitely generated R-module. Let limnHm^i（M/I^nM）be the ith formal local cohomology module of M with respect to I.In this paper, we discuss some properties of formal local cohomology modules limnHm^i（M/I^nM）,which are analogous to the finiteness and Artinianness of local cohomology modules of a finitely generated module.     

Poincaré series and an application to Weyl algebras

Let A n be the n-th Weyl algebra over a field of characteristic 0 and M a finitely generated module over A n . By further exploring the relationship between the Poincar′e series and the dimension and the multiplicity of M , we are able to prove that the tensor product of two finitely generated modules over A n has the multiplicity equal to the product of the multiplicities of both modules. It turns out that we can compute the dimensions and the multiplicities of some homogeneous subquotient modules of A n .

Direct sums of injective semimodules and direct products of projective semimodules over semirings

We prove that if the direct sum of a family of semimodules over a semiring S is an injective semimodule or if the direct product of a family of semimodules over S is a projective semimodule, then the cardinality of the subfamily consisting of all semimodules which are not modules is strictly less than the cardinality of S. As a consequence, we obtain semiring analogs of well-known characterizations of classical semisimple, quasi-Frobenius, and one-sided Noetherian rings.

On semirings satisfying the Baer criterion

It is well-known that for modules over rings the Baer injectivity criterion takes place. In this paper we prove that under one additional condition this criterion is also valid for modules over semirings. We prove that a semiring S satisfies the Baer criterion if and only if all injective (with respect to one-sided ideals of S) semimodules satisfy the above condition. We propose a newmethod for constructing semirings satisfying the Baer criterion.     

On V-semirings and Semirings All of Whose Cyclic Semimodules Are Injective

In this article, we introduce and study V- and CI-semirings—semirings all of whose simple and cyclic, respectively, semimodules are injective. We describe V-semirings for some classes of semirings and establish some fundamental properties of V-semirings. We show that all Jacobson-semisimple V-semirings are V-rings. We also completely describe the bounded distributive lattices, Gelfand, subtractive, semisimple, and antibounded, semirings that are CI-semirings. Applying these results, we give complete characterizations of congruence-simple subtractive and congruence-simple antibounded CI-semirings which solve two earlier open problems for these classes of CI-semirings.     

Some remarks on Boolean control systems: Controllability domains and realization theory

We construct a theory of realizations and controllability domains for linear stationary systems in the category of finitely generated free semimodules over a Boolean semiring. We show that the classical realization theorems cannot be generalized to this case, and we prove some incomplete analogs of these theorems. We analyze the structure of controllability domains and the reachability and observability characteristics. In particular, we define a geometric object representing the reachability properties of a system, namely, the generalized reachability topology on the state space.     

On N-Summations, I

This paper continues recent work on N-summations (see [8, 9, 12]). More specifically, it addresses the issue of existence of N-summations both for cone semirings and for prenormed semitopological semimodules. In the case of a cone semiring C we assume N-order completeness plus compatibility of N-joins with addition and multiplication to make the class of summarily bounded elements of C ^N into an N-summation for C. In the case of a prenormed semitopological semimodule M we use certain completeness properties of semitopologies on M to make the class of Cauchy elements of M ^N into an N-summation for M. Results on semitopologies and their connection with closure operators are contained in the Appendix.
