为降低正交频分复用OFDM的峰均比(PAPR)提出了改进的蜂窝扩展星座图的方法。改进的算法采用音调注入技术(TI),在不增加信号功率的约束条件下,动态地向外扩展传输数据的星座点,从而降低OFDM信号的峰均功率比。该方法在接收机端不需要任何的处理过程,而且没有边带信息。改进的蜂窝星座图扩展方法经仿真能够取得的峰均功率比比64-QAM约低4dB,降低效果显著。  相似文献

针对OFDM技术具有较高的峰均功率比(peak to average power ration,PAPR)这一主要缺点,提出一种控制OFDM载波信号衍生频谱的迭代算法,在降低系统高峰均功率比的同时,也降低系统的误码率.利用该算法对数据序列长度为64的OFDM信号进行仿真验证,随着迭代次数的增加,衍生频谱系数增大,系统平均功率增加,OFDM信号的峰值功率比得到一定的降低.  相似文献

OFDM系统中存在较大的峰均比(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio,PAPR),特别在多径信道中接收的信号严重失真,星座图恶化,严重影响了系统传输性能。针对该问题,对多径信道下OFDM系统PAPR抑制进行研究,采用频域均衡技术,提出了一种多径信道下基于压缩扩张的OFDM系统PAPR抑制算法。仿真结果表明,所提算法在抑制PAPR的同时能消除多径效应影响,避免信号失真和星座图恶化。对比传统算法,所提算法星座图EVM最大降低0.19,抑制PAPR能力提升1 dB。  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)作为一种抗多径的高速信息传输技术,一个主要缺点是信号的峰值平均功率比(PAPR)很高,因此极大地限制了其广泛应用。部分传输序列(PTS)算法能够很有效地降低PAPR值,但是PTS实现起来很复杂。介绍了OFDM系统的OFDM信号峰值平均功率比的概念。给出了一种基于PTS算法的峰值平均功率比减小方法。优化算法与传统的PTS算法相比,大大降低了系统实现的复杂性,而且带来效率的损失很小。  相似文献

对载波干涉技术降低OFDM的峰均功率比方法进行改进。先对输入信号进行分组,使系统峰值功率得到明显降低,之后再对分组后的信号进行载波干涉。理论分析及仿真结果表明,提出的方法能使系统峰值功率有明显降低,进而达到了进一步的降低峰均功率比的目的。该方法算法简单、不产生失真,不用传送边带信息,易于与其他降低PAPR的技术相结合使用,具有较好的实用性。  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)系统的一个主要缺点是信号的峰值功率与平均功率比(PAPR)很高。本文研究了利用信号扰码技术降低OFDM系统峰均比的一种典型算法:部分传输序列法(PTS),提出了一种将随机分割方法、交织分割方法与迭代移位搜索加权因子相结合的改进PTS算法。仿真结果表明,改进后的算法在改善PAPR性能和计算的复杂度之间取得了较好的折衷。  相似文献

提出了一种基于部分传输序列(PTS)算法和限幅算法相结合的改进算法来降低正交频分复用(OFDM)系统的峰均功率比(PAPR).该算法先利用PTS算法对OFDM信号进行处理从而选择出限幅噪声最小的一路OFDM信号,所得OFDM信号再利用限幅法进行处理.因此可有效改善OFDM信号经过限幅引起的限幅噪声,减小限幅对OFDM系统的影响.数据仿真验证了所提方法的有效性.  相似文献

In this study, we propose a novel meta-heuristic optimization algorithm for joint peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. High PAPR not only complicates a distortion of a signal at the nonlinear high-power amplifier of a transmitter the design, but also in significant performance degradation. Tone injection (TI) scheme is a well-known PAPR reduction technique for OFDM systems. The key idea of the proposed method is a distortionless technique that can reduce PAPR significantly without data rate loss and does not require the extra side information. But unfortunately, in optimal TI-based OFDM systems, the PAPR reduction performance mainly requires an exhaustive search over all possible constellations, which is a hard optimization problem and potential problem for practical applications. To address this problem, an efficient scheme based on firefly algorithm is introduced to search over all combinations of possible permutations of the expanded constellation with low complexity and fast convergence. The simulation results reveal that our system can achieve good tradeoff between PAPR reduction performance and low computational complexity.  相似文献

In this paper, the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal is reduced by combining the discrete cosine transform (DCT) with clipping in optical intensity-modulated direct-detection (IM/DD) OFDM systems. First, the data are transformed into new modified data by DCT. Second, the proposed scheme utilizes the clipping technique to further reduce the PAPR of OFDM signal. We experimentally demonstrate that the optical OFDM transmission system with this proposed scheme can achieve significant performance improvement in terms of PAPR and bit error rate (BER) compared with the original optical OFDM systems.  相似文献

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been widely used in many kinds of communication systems. However, OFDM signal has serious problem of high peak‐to‐average‐power ratio (PAPR) due to so many sub‐carriers. So, OFDM signal has very wide dynamic range. Therefore, the bit error rate (BER) performance may be degraded because of the nonlinear devices like the high power amplifier (HPA). Even if the linearization and large back‐off are used to compensate for the HPA nonlinearity, the power efficiency of the HPA is still very low since the PAPR is very high. Therefore, the PAPR reduction of the OFDM signal before the linearization would be more reasonable to improve the power efficiency and nonlinear compensation at the same time. In this paper, we propose a new combined method of SPW (sub‐block phase weighting) for PAPR reduction and linearization technique for the improvement of the power efficiency and for the nonlinear compensation of HPA. An updated SPW method is proposed to use a novel weighting factor multiplication of the complementary sequence characteristic and PAPR threshold technique. From the simulation results, it can be confirmed that BER performance is significantly improved and out‐of‐band spectrum radiations are much mitigated. Power efficiency of HPA can be enhanced since we can set small IBO (input back‐off) due to the PAPR reduction. The proposed system shows about 3 and 1 dB performance improvement than the LCP (linearized constant peak‐power)‐OFDM and LCP‐OFDM plus SPW at BER = 10−4. High peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is still one of the major problems in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). In this article, a new precoding method is proposed and analyzed based on complex Vandermonde matrix (CVM). The reduction in PAPR of the OFDM signal is obtained using the decorrelation property of CVM which removes any redundancy from the input sequence and can be a very effective for PAPR reduction. Also, the phase-rotation property of CVM takes an advantage of the fact that the PAPR is very sensitive to phase-shifts of the signal. It is shown that the proposed precoding outperforms most of the powerful precoding techniques and can achieve a PAPR gain up to 6.5 and 7.4 dB for IEEE 802.11a and DVB-T OFDM systems respectively. Moreover, CVM precoding does not change power spectral levels or error performances when compared with the normal OFDM systems, also it does not increase the computational complexity when compared with the existing precoding methods. It is shown that the performance of the proposed precoding is independent of modulation schemes and the number of subcarriers. The proposed CVM precoding also takes advantage of the frequency variations of the communication channel and can provide considerable performance gain in fading-multipath channels.  相似文献

We propose an efficient scheme to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems by using the standard arrays of linear block codes. Our scheme may be regarded as a modified version of the selective mapping (SLM), which is a probabilistic method to reduce the PAPR by selecting a signal with minimum PAPR from several candidates as the transmit signal. Because the coset leaders of a linear code are used for scrambling in our scheme, no side information is required to be transmitted and the received signal can be easily decoded by syndrome decoding. Simulation results show that our scheme has good performance in PAPR reduction.  相似文献

曾作为5G候选波形技术的基于子带滤波的正交频分复用(Filtered-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,F-OFDM)是基于正交频分复用(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OFDM)发展而来的,和OFDM一样存在峰值平均功率比(Peak to Average Power Ratio,PAPR)的问题。高PAPR的信号在发送时对系统功率放大器的性能要求很高,容易发生信号失真,并且会直接影响整个系统的运行成本和效率。为了提高F-OFDM系统在5G三大应用场景中的PAPR抑制性能,引入一种基于迭代限幅滤波的次优PTS抑制算法。该算法主要分为两个过程,先对F-OFDM系统的各子带的高PAPR值信号进行线性抑制,然后待各子带的信号经过各自的数字子带滤波器合并后再进行迭代限幅滤波处理,从而完成对F-OFDM信号PAPR的抑制。仿真表明,该算法相对于单独使用次优PTS算法或迭代限幅滤波算法,能提高F-OFDM系统的PAPR抑制性能。  相似文献

High peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) has always been as a major problem in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) that leads to a severe nonlinear distortion in practical hardware implementations of high power amplifier. In this article, a new PAPR reduction method is proposed based on linear predictive coding (LPC). This method proposes the use of signal whitening property of LPC as a preprocessing step in OFDM systems. Error filtering of the proposed method removes the predictable content of stationary stochastic processes which can reduce the autocorrelation of input data sequences and is shown to be very effective solution for PAPR problem in OFDM transmissions. It is shown that the proposed method can achieve a significant reduction in PAPR without degrading the power spectral level, error performance or computational complexity of the systems. It is also shown that the proposed method is independent of modulation schemes and can be applied to any number of subcarriers under both additive white gaussian noise and wireless Rayleigh fading channel.  相似文献

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is utilized with visible light communication (VLC) systems to decrease the impacts of inter‐symbol interference and to achieve communication with high speed of data transmission and huge bandwidth. In any case, the main problem in OFDM‐based VLC systems is high peak‐to‐average power ratios (PAPRs). This paper proposes a hybrid PAPR reduction technique based on signal transformation combined with clipping. The Hadamard transform is used in the proposed technique to reduce the PAPR without affecting the bit error rate (BER) of the VLC systems. The optimum clipping threshold at which the PAPR is reduced simultaneously with the improvement the BER of the VLC systems is also determined. The performance of the proposed system is assessed in terms of complementary cumulative distribution function and the BER. The obtained results demonstrate that the proposed procedure can simultaneously decrease the PAPR and achieve good BER performance compared to the OFDM‐based VLC system.  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)技术的一个主要缺点就是传输信号的峰均功率比(PAPR)较高,很容易导致OFDM信号的线性失真和系统性能的下降,这就限制了OFDM技术的广泛应用。因此,如何有效地降低OFDM系统中的PAPR是亟需解决的问题。在对选择性映射(SLM)方法进行深入研究的基础上,提出了基于新的相位序列的SLM技术,与传统SLM方法相比较,它的发送端和接收端不需要辅助信息。在没有数据损失和发送端信号功率稍微增大的情况下,就可以得到与传统的SLM技术相近的性能。并且,在选定合适的系统参数后,系统的SER性能没有得到退化。  相似文献
