研究回收率依赖回收产品质量情况下制造/再制造混合系统的EOQ模型.该模型假设顾客的需求可通过新产品的制造和回收产品的再制造两种方式满足,且这两种产品无质量差异;需求率是确定的、连续的;总成本包括制造和再制造的固定启动成本,可销售产品和回收品的库存成本,以及缺货成本.当假设缺货成本无限大时给出不允许缺货情况下的模型.给出算例验证模型的有效性.  相似文献

In this study, we consider a dynamic economic lot sizing problem for a single perishable item under production capacities. We aim to identify the production, inventory and backlogging decisions over the planning horizon, where (i) the parameters of the problem are deterministic but changing over time, and (ii) producer has a constant production capacity that limits the production amount at each period and is allowed to backorder the unmet demand later on. All cost functions are assumed to be concave. A similar problem without production capacities was studied in the literature and a polynomial time algorithm was suggested (Hsu, 2003 [1]). We assume age-dependent holding cost functions and the deterioration rates, which are more realistic for perishable items. Backordering cost functions are period-pair dependent. We prove the NP-hardness of the problem even with zero inventory holding and backlogging costs under our assumptions. We show the structural properties of the optimal solution and suggest a heuristic that finds a good production and distribution plan when the production periods are given. We discuss the performance of the heuristic. We also give a Dynamic Programing-based heuristic for the solution of the overall problem.  相似文献

A computationally efficient algorithm for a multi-period single commodity production planning problem with capacity constraints is developed. The model differs from earlier well-known studies involving concave cost functions in the introduction of production capacity constraints which need not be equal in every period. The objective is to find an optimal production schedule that minimizes the total production and inventory costs. Backlogging is not allowed. The structure of the optimal solution is characterized and then used in an efficient algorithm.  相似文献

We consider a manufacturing system with product recovery. The system manufactures a new product as well as remanufactures the product from old, returned items. The items remanufactured with the returned products are as good as new and satisfy the same demand as the new item. The demand rate for the new item and the return rate for the old item are deterministic and constant. The relevant costs are the holding costs for the new item and the returned item, and the fixed setup costs for both manufacturing and remanufacturing. The objective is to determine the lot sizes and production schedule for manufacturing and remanufacturing so as to minimize the long-run average cost per unit time. We first develop a lower bound among all classes of policies for the problem. We then show that the optimal integer ratio policy for the problem obtains a solution whose cost is at most 1.5% more than the lower bound.  相似文献

The set-up cost and yield variability are given and fixed in existing production/inventory models with random yields. However, in many practical situations, they can be reduced by investment in modern production technology. In this paper, we consider an inventory system with random yield in which both the set-up cost and yield variability can be reduced through capital investment. The objective is to determine the optimal capital investment and ordering policies that minimize the expected total annual costs for the system. In addition, an iterative solution procedure is presented to find the optimal order quantity and reorder point and then the optimal set-up cost and yield standard deviation. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the results obtained and assess the cost savings by adopting capital investments. Managerial implications are also included.  相似文献

This paper establishes a general ABC inventory classification system as the foundation for a normative model of the maintenance cost structure and stock turnover characteristics of a large, multi-item inventory system with constant demand. For any specified number of inventory classes, the model allows expression of the overall system combined ordering and holding cost in terms of (i) the re-ordering frequencies for the items in each inventory class and (ii) the inventory class structure, that is, the proportion of the total system's items that are in each inventory class. The model yields a minimum total maintenance cost function, which reflects the effect of class structure on inventory maintenance costs and turnover. If the Pareto curve (a.k.a. Distribution-by-value function) for the inventory system can be expressed (or approximated) analytically, the model can also be used to determine an optimal class structure, as well as an appropriate number of inventory classes. A special case of the model produces a simply structured, class-based ordering policy for minimizing total inventory maintenance costs. Using real data, the cost characteristics of this policy are compared to those of a heuristic, commonly used by managers of multi-item inventory systems. This cost comparison, expressed graphically, underscores the need for normative modelling approaches to the problem of inventory cost management in large, multi-item systems.  相似文献

This study develops deteriorating items production inventory models with random machine breakdown and stochastic repair time. The model assumes the machine repair time is independent of the machine breakdown rate. The classical optimization technique is used to derive an optimal solution. A numerical example and sensitivity analysis are shown to illustrate the models. The stochastic repair models with uniformly distributed repair time tends to have a larger optimal total cost than the fixed repair time model, however the production up time is less than the fixed repair time model. Production and demand rate are the most sensitive parameters for the optimal production up time, and demand rate is the most sensitive parameter to the optimal total cost for the stochastic model with exponential distribution repair time.  相似文献

This article concerns two-echelon inventory/distribution system, consisting of a warehouse and a retailer. We assume that the demand is deterministic and stockouts are not permitted. Two criteria are considered: to minimize the annual inventory cost and the annual total number of damaged items by improper shipment handling. The problem consists of determining the non-dominated inventory policies in such a way that the trade-off between both criteria is achieved. We present the characterization of the non-dominated optimal solution set and we use this result to correct the solution method previously proposed by other authors for a problem with identical cost structure. An efficient algorithm to calculate the non-dominated solution set is introduced. Computational results on several randomly generated problems are reported.  相似文献

This paper deals with the optimal control of a one-machine two-product manufacturing system with setup changes, operating in a continuous time dynamic environment. The system is deterministic. When production is switched from one product to the other, a known constant setup time and a setup cost are incurred. Each product has specified constant processing time and constant demand rate, as well as an infinite supply of raw material. The problem is formulated as a feedback control problem. The objective is to minimize the total backlog, inventory and setup costs incurred over a finite horizon. The optimal solution provides the optimal production rate and setup switching epochs as a function of the state of the system (backlog and inventory levels). For the steady state, the optimal cyclic schedule is determined. To solve the transient case, the system's state space is partitioned into mutually exclusive regions such that with each region, the optimal control policy is determined analytically.  相似文献

This paper presents an optimal control recycling production inventory system in fuzzy environment. The used items are bought back and then either put on recycling or disposal. Recycled products can be used for the new products which are sold again. Here, the rate of production, recycling and disposal are assumed to be function of time and considered as control variables. The demand inversely depends on the selling price. Again selling price is serviceable stock dependent. The holding costs (for serviceable and non-serviceable items) are fuzzy variables. At first we define the expected values of fuzzy variable, then the system is transferred to the fuzzy expected value model. In this paper, an optimal control approach is proposed to optimize the production, recycling and disposal strategy with respect so that expected value of total profit is maximum. The optimum results are presented both in tabular form and graphically.  相似文献

This paper presents a comprehensive mathematical model for integrated cell formation and inventory lot sizing problem. The proposed model seeks to minimize cell formation costs as well as the costs associated with production, while dynamic conditions, alternative routings, machine capacity limitation, operations sequences, cell size constraints, process deterioration, and machine breakdowns are also taken into account. The total cost consists of machine procurement, cell reconfiguration, preventive and corrective repairs, material handling (intra-cell and inter-cell), machine operation, part subcontracting, finished and unfinished parts inventory cost, and defective parts replacement costs. With respect to the multiple products, multiple process plans for each product and multiple routing alternatives for each process plan which are assumed in the proposed model, the model is combinatorial. Moreover, unreliability conditions are considered, because moving from “in-control” state to “out-of-control” state (process deterioration) and machine breakdowns make the model more practical and applicable. To conquer the breakdowns, preventive and corrective actions are adopted. Finally, a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-based meta-heuristic is developed to overcome NP-completeness of the proposed model.  相似文献

In this paper, an optimal production inventory model with fuzzy time period and fuzzy inventory costs for defective items is formulated and solved under fuzzy space constraint. Here, the rate of production is assumed to be a function of time and considered as a control variable. Also the demand is linearly stock dependent. The defective rate is taken as random, the inventory holding cost and production cost are imprecise. The fuzzy parameters are converted to crisp ones using credibility measure theory. The different items have the different imprecise time periods and the minimization of cost for each item leads to a multi-objective optimization problem. The model is under the single management house and desired inventory level and product cost for each item are prescribed. The multi-objective problem is reduced to a single objective problem using Global Criteria Method (GCM) and solved with the help of Fuzzy Riemann Integral (FRI) method, Kuhn–Tucker condition and Generalised Reduced Gradient (GRG) technique. In optimum results including production functions and corresponding optimum costs for the different models are obtained and then are presented in tabular forms.  相似文献

We consider a two-echelon assembly system producing a single final product for which the demand is known. The first echelon consists of several parallel stages, whereas the second echelon consists of a single assembly stage. We assume that the yield at each stage is random and that demand needs to be satisfied in its entirety; thus, several production runs may be required. A production policy should specify, for each possible configuration of intermediate inventories, on which stage to produce next and the lot size to be processed. The objective is to minimize the expected total of setup and variable production costs.We prove that the expected cost of any production policy can be calculated by solving a finite set of linear equations whose solution is unique. The result is general in that it applies to any yield distribution. We also develop efficient algorithms leading to heuristic solutions with high precision and, as an example, provide numerical results for binomial yields.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a continuous review inventory system of a slow moving item for which the demand rate drops to a lower level at a known future time instance. The inventory system is controlled according to a one-for-one replenishment policy with a fixed lead time. Adapting to lower demand is achieved by changing the control policy in advance and letting the demand take away the excess stocks. We show that the timing of the control policy change primarily determines the tradeoff between backordering penalties and obsolescence costs. We propose an approximate solution for the optimal time to shift to the new control policy minimizing the expected total cost during the transient period. We find that the advance policy change results in significant cost savings and the approximation yields near optimal expected total costs.  相似文献

In this paper, the economic production quantity problem for a single-product single-machine system is extended. It is assumed that annual demand of the product is a function of price set by manufacturer. This extension considers sales revenue, inventory and setup costs as well as a variable cost of production which is a function of the lot size. Several linear and non-linear functions of demand and variable cost are considered in this paper and a global solution methodology is presented for the models developed. Newton??s method is used to find local optima and asymptotic convergence of the solution algorithm to a global optimum is proved. Numerical studies followed by a discussion provide additional insights into the problem.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and propose a fuzzy extended economic production quantity model based on an elaboratively modeled unit cost structure. This unit cost structure consists of the various lot-size correlative components such as on-line setups, off-line setups, initial production defectives, direct material, labor, and depreciation in addition to lot-size non-correlative items. Thus, the unit cost is correlatively modeled to the production quantity. Therefore, the modeling or the annual total cost function developed consists of not only annual inventory and setup costs but also production cost. Moreover, via the concept of fuzzy blurred optimal argument and the vertex method of the α-cut fuzzy arithmetic (or fuzzy interval analysis), two solution approaches are proposed: (1) a fuzzy EPQ and (2) a compromised crisp EPQ in the fuzzy sense. An optimization procedure, which can simultaneously determine the α-cut-vertex combination of fuzzy parameters and the optimizing decision variable value, is also proposed. The sensitivity model for the fuzzy total cost and thus EPQ to the various cost factors is provided. Finally, a numerical example with the original data collected from a firm demonstrates the usefulness of the new model.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the material procurement and delivery policy in a production system where raw materials enter into the assembly line from two different flow channels. The system encompasses batch production process in which the finished product demand is approximately constant for an infinite planning horizon. Two distinct types of raw materials are passed through the assembly line before to convert them into the finished product. Of the two types of raw materials, one type requires preprocessing inside the facility before the assembly operation and other group is fed straightway in the assembly line. The conversion factors are assigned to raw materials to quantify the raw material batch size required. To analyze such a system, we formulate a nonlinear cost function to aggregate all the costs of the inventories, ordering, shipping and deliveries. An algorithm using the branch and bound concept is provided to find the best integer values of the optimal solutions. The result shows that the optimal procurement and delivery policy minimizes the expected total cost of the model. Using a test problem, the inventory requirements at each stage of production and their corresponding costs are calculated. From the analysis, it is shown that the rate and direction change of total cost is turned to positive when delivery rates per batch reaches close to the optimal value and the minimum cost is achieved at the optimal delivery rate. Also, it is shown that total incremental cost is monotonically increasing, if the finished product batch size is increased, and if, inventory cost rates are increased. We examine a set of numerical examples that reveal the insights into the procurement-delivery policy and the performance of such an assembly type inventory model.  相似文献
