By establishing the corresponding variational framework, and using critical point theory, we give the existence of multiple solutions to a fractional difference boundary value problem with parameter. Under some suitable assumptions we obtain some results which ensure the existence of well precise interval of parameter for which the problem admits multiple solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a general composite convex optimization problem with a cone-convex system in locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces. Some Fenchel conjugate transforms for the composite convex functions are derived to obtain the equivalent condition of the Stable Farkas Lemma, which is formulated by using the epigraph of the conjugates for the convex functions involved and turns out to be weaker than the classic Slater condition. Moreover, we get some necessary and sufficient conditions for stable duality results of the composite convex functions and present an example to illustrate that the monotonic increasing property of the outer convex function in the objective function is essential. Our main results in this paper develop some recently results.  相似文献

In this paper, HFEM is proposed to investigate the circular arch problem. Optimal error estimates are derived, some superconvergence results are established, and an asymptotic exactness posteriori error estimator is presented. In contrast with the classical displacement variational method, the optimal convergence rate for displacement is uniform to the small parameter. In contrast with classical mixed finite element methods, our results are free of the strict restriction on h(the mesh size) which is preserved by all the previous papers. Furtheremore we introduce an asymptotic exactness posteriori error estimator based on a global superconvergence result which is discovered in this kind of problem for the first time.  相似文献

The authors prove the global exact boundary controllability for the cubic semi-linear wave equation in three space dimensions, subject to Dirichlet, Neumann, or any other kind of boundary controls which result in the well-posedness of the corresponding initial-boundary value problem. The exponential decay of energy is first established for the cubic semi-linear wave equation with some boundary condition by the multiplier method, which reduces the global exact boundary controllability problem to a local one. The proof is carried out in line with [2, 15]. Then a constructive method that has been developed in [13] is used to study the local problem. Especially when the region is star-complemented, it is obtained that the control function only need to be applied on a relatively open subset of the boundary. For the cubic Klein-Gordon equation, similar results of the global exact boundary controllability are proved by such an idea.  相似文献

We introduce some ways to compute the lower and upper bounds of the Laplace eigenvalue problem.By using the special nonconforming finite elements,i.e.,enriched Crouzeix-Raviart element and extended Q1ro t,we get the lower bound of the eigenvalue.Additionally,we use conforming finite elements to do the postprocessing to get the upper bound of the eigenvalue,which only needs to solve the corresponding source problems and a small eigenvalue problem if higher order postprocessing method is implemented.Thus,we can obtain the lower and upper bounds of the eigenvalues simultaneously by solving eigenvalue problem only once.Some numerical results are also presented to demonstrate our theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The generalized Nash equilibrium problem (GNEP) is a generalization of the standard Nash equilibrium problem (NEP),in which both the utility function and the strategy space of each player depend on the strategies chosen by all other players.This problem has been used to model various problems in applications.However,the convergent solution algorithms are extremely scare in the literature.In this paper,we present an incremental penalty method for the GNEP,and show that a solution of the GNEP can be found by solving a sequence of smooth NEPs.We then apply the semismooth Newton method with Armijo line search to solve latter problems and provide some results of numerical experiments to illustrate the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper,we study the initial-boundary value problem for a class of singular parabolic equations.Under some conditions,we obtain the existence and asymptotic behavior of solutions to the problem by parabolic regularization method and the sub-super solutions method.As a byproduct,we prove the existence of solutions to some problems with gradient terms,which blow up on the boundary.  相似文献

The solution of eigenvalue problems for partial differential operators by using boundary integral equation methods usually involves some Newton potentials which may be resolved by using a multiple reciprocity approach. Here we propose an alternative approach which is in some sense equivalent to the above. Instead of a linear eigenvalue problem for the partial differential operator we consider a nonlinear eigenvalue problem for an associated boundary integral operator. This nonlinear eigenvalue problem can be solved by using some appropriate iterative scheme, here we will consider a Newton scheme. We will discuss the convergence and the boundary element discretization of this algorithm, and give some numerical results.  相似文献

In this note, we establish some local and global existence results for the Cauchy problem of a class of nonlinear dispersive equations which generalize the nonlinear Schrödinger equations and the Davey–Stewartson equations. Optimization on Stiefel manifolds was discussed by Rapcsák in earlier papers, and some global optimization methods were considered and tested on Stiefel manifolds. In the paper, test functions are given with known global optimum points and their optimal function values. A restriction, which leads to a discretization of the problem is suggested, which results in a problem equivalent to the well-known assignment problem.  相似文献

Considering a constrained fractional programming problem, within the present paper we present some necessary and sufficient conditions, which ensure that the optimal objective value of the considered problem is greater than or equal to a given real constant. The desired results are obtained using the Fenchel–Lagrange duality approach applied to an optimization problem with convex or difference of convex (DC) objective functions and finitely many convex constraints. These are obtained from the initial fractional programming problem using an idea due to Dinkelbach. We also show that our general results encompass as special cases some recently obtained Farkas-type results.  相似文献

Delay parabolic problems have been studied by many authors. Some authors investigated more general delay problem (refer to [1], [2]), some investigated concrete delay partial differential equations. Recently, we have done some work on delay parabolic problem. We discussed semilinear parabolic delay problem and obtained some results on the existence of solutions. In particular the results on existence of periodic solutions are characteristic (see [3], [4], [5], [6]). The purpose of this paper is to study delay equation with quasilinear perturbation. We present the existence of global and periodic solutions of abstract evolution equations in Section 2. The abstract results are used to obtain the existence of global and periodic solutions of delay parabolic problem with quasilinear perturbation in Section 3. We make preparation for our investigation and give a generalization of Gronwall inequality (Lemma 1.3) which is used in next section.  相似文献
