关于二重变上限积分的等价无穷小

将二重变上限积分看作是一类特殊的一元诱导函数,本文给出了两种二重变上限积分的定义方式,分别对积分限和被积函数做相应的等价无穷小量替换.在一定的条件下,替换后的二重变上限积分与替换前的二重变上限积分是等价无穷小,从而得到一类求极限的方法,并给出了应用实例.

Decomposable compositions, symmetric quasisymmetric functions and equality of ribbon Schur functions

We define an equivalence relation on integer compositions and show that two ribbon Schur functions are identical if and only if their defining compositions are equivalent in this sense. This equivalence is completely determined by means of a factorization for compositions: equivalent compositions have factorizations that differ only by reversing some of the terms. As an application, we can derive identities on certain Littlewood-Richardson coefficients.Finally, we consider the cone of symmetric functions having a nonnnegative representation in terms of the fundamental quasisymmetric basis. We show the Schur functions are among the extremes of this cone and conjecture its facets are in bijection with the equivalence classes of compositions.     

On the classification of APN functions up to dimension five

We classify the almost perfect nonlinear (APN) functions in dimensions 4 and 5 up to affine and CCZ equivalence using backtrack programming and give a partial model for the complexity of such a search. In particular, we demonstrate that up to dimension 5 any APN function is CCZ equivalent to a power function, while it is well known that in dimensions 4 and 5 there exist APN functions which are not extended affine (EA) equivalent to any power function. We further calculate the total number of APN functions up to dimension 5 and present a new CCZ equivalence class of APN functions in dimension 6.     

Weighted lattice polynomials

We define the concept of weighted lattice polynomial functions as lattice polynomial functions constructed from both variables and parameters. We provide equivalent forms of these functions in an arbitrary bounded distributive lattice. We also show that these functions include the class of discrete Sugeno integrals and that they are characterized by a median-based decomposition formula.     

Parametric Mulholland-type inequalities

By means of the weight functions and the idea of introducing parameters, a discrete Mulholland-type inequality with the general homogeneous kernel and the equivalent form are given. The equivalent statements of the best possible constant factor related to some parameters, the operator expressions and some particular examples are considered.     

Operator log-convex functions and operator means

We study operator log-convex functions on (0, ∞), and prove that a continuous nonnegative function on (0, ∞) is operator log-convex if and only if it is operator monotone decreasing. Several equivalent conditions related to operator means are given for such functions. Operator log-concave functions are also discussed.     

Subvexormal Functions and Subvex Functions

Subvexormal functions and subinvexormal functions are proposed, whose properties are shared commonly by most generalized convex functions and most generalized invex functions, respectively. A necessary and sufficient condition for a subvexormal function to be subinvexormal is given in the locally Lipschitz and regular case. Furthermore, subvex functions and subinvex functions are introduced. It is proved that the class of strictly subvex functions is equivalent to that of functions whose local minima are global and that, in the locally Lipschitz and regular case, both strongly subvex functions and strongly subinvex functions can be characterized as functions whose relatively stationary points (slight extension of stationary points) are global minima.

Characterizations of Morrey type Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponents

In this paper, Morrey type Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponents are introduced. Then equivalent quasi-norms of these new spaces in terms of Peetre?s maximal functions are obtained. Finally, applying those equivalent quasi-norms, the authors obtain the atomic, molecular and wavelet decompositions of these new spaces.

Weighted approximation by Bernstein quasiinterpolants for functions with singularities

We introduce a new type of modified Bernstein quasi-interpolants, which can be used to approximate functions with singularities. We establish direct, inverse, and equivalent theorems of the weighted approximation of this modified quasi-interpolants. Some classical results on approximation of continuous functions are generalized to the weighted approximation of functions with singularities.     

Fractional integrals on radial functions with applications to weighted inequalities

We obtain operators pointwise equivalent to the fractional integral and the maximal fractional operator acting on radial functions. With the aid of these operators we obtain several weighted inequalities, assuming that either the functions or the weights are radial.

本文用概率方法给出小项表示的布尔函数谱的性质,据此得到了Ｂｅｎｔ函数的特征矩阵的等价刻画,原则上给出了Ｂｅｎｔ函数的一般构造法,并为Ｂｅｎｔ函数的计数问题提供了一个模型。文中还提出了Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵的概念,考察了Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵的性质,并借助Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵得到由已知Ｂｅｎｔ函数构造新的Ｂｅｎｔ函数构造新的Ｂｅｎｔ函数的方法。     

Complex Fractional Programming and the Charnes-Cooper Transformation

We extend the Charnes-Cooper transformation to complex fractional programs involving continuous complex functions and analytic functions. Such problems are shown to be equivalent to nonfractional complex programming problems. This technique is employed also to reduce complex linear fractional programs to complex linear programs. More generally, it can be shown that complex convex-concave fractional programming problems are equivalent to complex convex nonfractional programs using the generalized Charnes-Cooper transformation.The third author gratefully acknowledges the support of the National Center of Theoretical Sciences, National Tsinghua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan during his visit in June 2002 when this research project was started.     

Applications of P-adic generalized functions and approximations by a system of p-adic translations of a function

Under some conditions we prove that the convergence of a sequence of functions in the space of P-adic generalized functions is equivalent to its convergence in the space of locally integrable functions. Some analogs are established of the Wiener tauberian theorem and the Wiener theorem on denseness of translations for P-adic convolutions and translations.     

Exact solutions to the equations of a dynamic asymmetric pseudoelasticity model

Using a group foliation of the equations of the dynamic asymmetric model of pseudoelasticity effectively used in studying the elastic materials made of polymers, we obtain a system that, after renaming the functions, becomes equivalent to these equations and contains fewer additional functions than the union of the resolving and automorphic systems of the accomplished group foliation. Among the first-order systems equivalent to these equations, it contains the least number of additional functions and is the only such a system up to a nondegenerate linear transformation of the additional functions. For this system, we find the main Lie group of transformation, an optimal system of its subgroups, and their universal invariants. Some invariant and partially invariant exact solutions are obtained, and their physical meaning is explained.     

On the affine equivalence relation between two classes of Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity

Recently, two classes of Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity have been proposed by Carlet et al. and Wang et al., respectively. Although it appears that their methods are very different, it is proved in this paper that the two classes of Boolean functions are in fact affine equivalent. Moreover, the number of affine equivalence classes of these functions is also studied.
