The rigidity degree of a generator-cogenerator determines the dominant dimension of its endomorphism algebra, and is closely related to a recently introduced homological dimension — rigidity dimension. In this paper, we give explicit formulae for the rigidity degrees of all indecomposable modules over representation-finite self-injective algebras by developing combinatorial methods from the Euclidean algorithm. As an application, the rigidity dimensions of some algebras of types A and E are given.  相似文献

Associated with each finite directed quiver Q is a quasi-hereditary algebra, the so-called twisted double of the path algebra kQ. Characteristic tilting modules over this class of quasi-hereditary algebras are constructed. Their endomorphism algebras are explicitly described. We introduce a new class of algebras, which we call cluster-tilted. They are by definition the endomorphism algebras of tilting objects in a cluster category. We show that their representation theory is very close to the representation theory of hereditary algebras. As an application of this, we prove a generalised version of so-called APR-tilting.

We introduce a notion of Gorenstein R-algebras over a commutative Gorenstein ring R. Then we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a tilting complex over a Gorenstein R-algebra A to have a Gorenstein R-algebra B as the endomorphism algebra and a construction of such a tilting complex. Furthermore, we provide an example of a tilting complex over a Gorenstein R-algebra A whose endomorphism algebra is not a Gorenstein R-algebra.  相似文献

We show that Auslander algebras have a unique tilting and cotilting module which is generated and cogenerated by a projective–injective; its endomorphism ring is called the projective quotient algebra. For any representation-finite algebra, we use the projective quotient algebra to construct desingularizations of quiver Grassmannians, orbit closures in representation varieties, and their desingularizations. This generalizes results of Cerulli Irelli, Feigin and Reineke.  相似文献

The concept of cluster tilting gives a higher analogue of classical Auslander correspondence between representation-finite algebras and Auslander algebras. The n-Auslander–Reiten translation functor τn plays an important role in the study of n-cluster tilting subcategories. We study the category Mn of preinjective-like modules obtained by applying τn to injective modules repeatedly. We call a finite-dimensional algebra Λ n-complete if for an n-cluster tilting object M. Our main result asserts that the endomorphism algebra EndΛ(M) is (n+1)-complete. This gives an inductive construction of n-complete algebras. For example, any representation-finite hereditary algebra Λ(1) is 1-complete. Hence the Auslander algebra Λ(2) of Λ(1) is 2-complete. Moreover, for any n?1, we have an n-complete algebra Λ(n) which has an n-cluster tilting object M(n) such that Λ(n+1)=EndΛ(n)(M(n)). We give the presentation of Λ(n) by a quiver with relations. We apply our results to construct n-cluster tilting subcategories of derived categories of n-complete algebras.  相似文献

Let H be a finite-dimensional hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field k and CFm be the repetitive cluster category of H with m ≥ 1. We investigate the properties of cluster tilting objects in CFm and the structure of repetitive cluster-tilted algebras. Moreover, we generalize Theorem 4.2 in [12] (Buan A, Marsh R, Reiten I. Cluster-tilted algebra, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., 359(1)(2007), 323-332.) to the situation of CFm, and prove that the tilting graph KCFm of CFm is connected.  相似文献

The cluster-tilted algebras have been introduced by Buan, Marsh and Reiten, they are the endomorphism rings of cluster-tilting objects T in cluster categories; we call such an algebra cluster-concealed in case T is obtained from a preprojective tilting module. For example, all representation-finite cluster-tilted algebras are cluster-concealed. If C is a representation-finite cluster-tilted algebra, then the indecomposable C-modules are shown to be determined by their dimension vectors. For a general cluster-tilted algebra C, we are going to describe the dimension vectors of the indecomposable C-modules in terms of the root system of a quadratic form. The roots may have both positive and negative coordinates and we have to take absolute values.  相似文献

We describe the dimensions of low Hochschild cohomology spaces of exceptional periodic representation-infinite algebras of polynomial growth. As an application we obtain that an indecomposable non-standard periodic representation-infinite algebra of polynomial growth is not derived equivalent to a standard self-injective algebra.  相似文献

We prove that in a 2-Calabi-Yau triangulated category, each cluster tilting subcategory is Gorenstein with all its finitely generated projectives of injective dimension at most one. We show that the stable category of its Cohen-Macaulay modules is 3-Calabi-Yau. We deduce in particular that cluster-tilted algebras are Gorenstein of dimension at most one, and hereditary if they are of finite global dimension. Our results also apply to the stable (!) endomorphism rings of maximal rigid modules of [Christof Geiß, Bernard Leclerc, Jan Schröer, Rigid modules over preprojective algebras, arXiv: math.RT/0503324, Invent. Math., in press]. In addition, we prove a general result about relative 3-Calabi-Yau duality over non-stable endomorphism rings. This strengthens and generalizes the Ext-group symmetries obtained in [Christof Geiß, Bernard Leclerc, Jan Schröer, Rigid modules over preprojective algebras, arXiv: math.RT/0503324, Invent. Math., in press] for simple modules. Finally, we generalize the results on relative Calabi-Yau duality from 2-Calabi-Yau to d-Calabi-Yau categories. We build a connection between iterated tilted algebras with trivial cluster tilting subcategories and tilted algebras of finite type.Moreover,all tilted algebras with cluster tilting subcategories are determined in terms of quivers.As a result,we draw the quivers of Auslander’s 1-Gorenstein algebras with global dimension 2 admitting trivial cluster tilting subcategories,which implies that such algebras are of finite type but not necessarily Nakayama.  相似文献

Schur algebras of Brauer algebras are defined as endomorphism algebras of certain direct sums of ‘permutation modules’ over Brauer algebras. Explicit combinatorial bases of these new Schur algebras are given; in particular, these Schur algebras are defined integrally. The new Schur algebras are related to the Brauer algebra by Schur–Weyl dualities on the above sums of permutation modules. Moreover, they are shown to be quasi-hereditary. Over fields of characteristic different from two or three, the new Schur algebras are quasi-hereditary 1-covers of Brauer algebras, and hence the unique ‘canonical’ Schur algebras of Brauer algebras.  相似文献

The problem of classification of Jordan bimodules over (non-semisimple) finite dimensional Jordan algebras with respect to their representation type is considered. The notions of diagram of a Jordan algebra and of Jordan tensor algebra of a bimodule are introduced and a mapping Qui is constructed which associates to the diagram of a Jordan algebra J the quiver of its universal associative enveloping algebra S(J). The main results are concerned with Jordan algebras of semi-matrix type, that is, algebras whose semi-simple component is a direct sum of Jordan matrix algebras. In this case, criterion of finiteness and tameness for one-sided representations are obtained, in terms of diagram and mapping Qui, for Jordan tensor algebras and for algebras with radical square equals to 0.  相似文献

Graham and Lehrer have defined cellular algebras and developed a theory that allows in particular to classify simple representations of finite dimensional cellular algebras. Many classes of finite dimensional algebras, including various Hecke algebras and diagram algebras, have been shown to be cellular, and the theory due to Graham and Lehrer successfully has been applied to these algebras.We will extend the framework of cellular algebras to algebras that need not be finite dimensional over a field. Affine Hecke algebras of type A and infinite dimensional diagram algebras like the affine Temperley–Lieb algebras are shown to be examples of our definition. The isomorphism classes of simple representations of affine cellular algebras are shown to be parameterised by the complement of finitely many subvarieties in a finite disjoint union of affine varieties. In this way, representation theory of non-commutative algebras is linked with commutative algebra. Moreover, conditions on the cell chain are identified that force the algebra to have finite global cohomological dimension and its derived category to admit a stratification; these conditions are shown to be satisfied for the affine Hecke algebra of type A if the quantum parameter is not a root of the Poincaré polynomial.  相似文献

We say that an algebra A is periodic if it has a periodic projective resolution as an (A,A)-bimodule. We show that any self-injective algebra of finite representation type is periodic. To prove this, we first apply the theory of smash products to show that for a finite Galois covering BA, B is periodic if and only if A is. In addition, when A has finite representation type, we build upon results of Buchweitz to show that periodicity passes between A and its stable Auslander algebra. Finally, we use Asashiba’s classification of the derived equivalence classes of self-injective algebras of finite type to compute bounds for the periods of these algebras, and give an application to stable Calabi-Yau dimensions.  相似文献
