A brief discussion is presented regarding the operating temperature of one-sun commercial grade silicon-based solar cells/modules and its effect upon the electrical performance of photovoltaic installations. Suitable tabulations are given for most of the known algebraic forms which express the temperature dependence of solar electrical efficiency and, equivalently, solar power. Finally, the thermal aspects of the major power/energy rating methods are briefly discussed.  相似文献

One-year field experience of an 80 kW PV system on a rooftop of the ROHM Memorial VLSI Research Center at the Ritsumeikan University is reported. All kinds of live technology available materials, c-Si, poly Si and a-Si solar cells are installed on the three tilt angles of 26.5° south, horizontal and north 26.5°. Systematic PV performances have been measured from the beginning of June 2000 to the end of May 2001. Measurements were made mainly on DC output power from four kinds of PV arrays; c-Si south side, a-Si of horizontal and poly Si, a-Si north side. It has been shown from analyses of monthly data on each material that almost 70% of with that in the south side in the annual average. In summer a-Si module yields the maximum output power normalized to 1 kWp. On the contrary c-Si module shows larger output in winter. Some other unique results are demonstrated and discussed.  相似文献

It is a disadvantage that PV power generation is only useful for clear daytime. However, a new 24 hours of application in an extended area can be added by active utilization of potential ability of PV power conditioner. For this purpose, a new multi-functional power conditioner was developed, which has a smoothing function to reduce PV output variation and load fluctuation, and also has additional function to compensate harmonics current and reactive power caused by customer's load.As a result of indoor testing, a reduction rate of around for harmonics current and reactive power were achieved. In addition, the reduction rate around for smoothing of PV output variation and load fluctuation were verified.The work was promoted by NEDO as part of the New Sunshine Project in Japan.  相似文献

This paper describes simulation results of a small 500 W wind fuel cell hybrid energy system. The system consists of a Southwest Wind Power Inc. AIR 403 wind turbine, a Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) and an electrolyzer. Dynamic modeling of various components of this small isolated system is presented. Simulink is used for the dynamic simulation of this nonlinear 48 V hybrid energy system. Transient responses of the system to a step change in the load current and wind speed in a number of possible situations are presented. Analysis of simulation results and limitations of a wind fuel cell hybrid energy system are discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes a hybrid energy system consisting of a 5 kW wind turbine and a fuel cell system. Such a system is expected to be a more efficient, zero emission alternative to wind diesel system. Dynamic modeling of various components of this isolated system is presented. Selection of control strategies and design of controllers for the system is described. Simnon is used for the simulation of this highly nonlinear system. Transient responses of the system for a step change in the electrical load and wind speed are presented. System simulation results for a pre-recorded wind speed data indicates the transients expected in such a system. Design, modeling, control and limitations of a wind fuel cell hybrid energy system are discussed.  相似文献

In March 2007 the BMW Group has launched the micro-hybrid functions brake energy regeneration (BER) and automatic start and stop function (ASSF). Valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries in absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology are applied in vehicles with micro-hybrid power system (MHPS). In both part I and part II of this publication vehicles with MHPS and AGM batteries are subject to a field operational test (FOT). Test vehicles with conventional power system (CPS) and flooded batteries were used as a reference. In the FOT sample batteries were mounted several times and electrically tested in the laboratory intermediately. Vehicle- and battery-related diagnosis data were read out for each test run and were matched with laboratory data in a data base. The FOT data were analyzed by the use of two-dimensional, nonparametric kernel estimation for clear data presentation.The data show that capacity loss in the MHPS is comparable to the CPS. However, the influence of mileage performance, which cannot be separated, suggests that battery stress is enhanced in the MHPS although a battery refresh function is applied. Anyway, the FOT demonstrates the unsuitability of flooded batteries for the MHPS because of high early capacity loss due to acid stratification and because of vanishing cranking performance due to increasing internal resistance. Furthermore, the lack of dynamic charge acceptance for high energy regeneration efficiency is illustrated. Under the presented FOT conditions charge acceptance of lead-acid (LA) batteries decreases to less than one third for about half of the sample batteries compared to new battery condition. In part II of this publication FOT data are presented by multiple regression analysis (Schaeck et al., submitted for publication [1]).  相似文献
