Rural electrification using PV systems is widespread in the Third World. Charge controllers are needed to improve the efficiency of the system and to protect the storage batteries with special reference to automotive batteries. An intelligent charge controller, incorporating an SGS-Thompson microcontroller, ST62E20, has been designed with the object of prolonging battery life. The need for and advantages of such charge controllers are discussed. Tests have been performed on a working prototype which is versatile and has provision for more monitoring and control functions than are possible with the conventional logic or relay systems. In this paper, the design and analysis of Fractional Order PID (FOPID) controller for the application of the solar photovoltaic system is proposed. At the outset, a solar PV system is considered to investigate the better performance of the FOPID controller compared to PID controller. Fractional order PID (FOPID) controller is used to improve the dynamic response of the system and the optimal gain values are tuned by using FOTF toolbox. A Fractional order controller that has been conceptualized to improve the system performance, particularly to improve the rejection of possible disturbances, which may occur in the input voltage. The performance analysis and comparison of PID controller and FOPID controller is done using MATLAB. The working method of the proposed technique is demonstrated with the help of Boost converter. 针对高效率太阳能热发电传热储热的需求,本工作对新型熔盐(LiNO3:NaNO3:KNO3物质的量比例为2:3:5)进行了充放热传热性能研究。通过Fluent模拟结果表明最后熔化的区域是位于罐体底部的边角位置,为了在工程应用中防止此区域出现熔化死角,应增加熔化装置。通过充放热实验验证了模拟结果,实验研究结果表明罐体内的熔盐在加热过程中,是自上而下逐渐熔化的,且熔盐始终存在温度分层,而熔盐冷却凝固的过程并没有分层现象。 相似文献

根据开关磁阻电机的特性建立了储能飞轮的数学模型,采用Matlab/Simulink仿真分析了系统最大允许电流和电机开断角对系统控制性能的影响。设计了系统充放电控制方式,仿真结果表明,采用电流斩波与角度位置相结合的速度电流双闭环控制方式进行充电控制,采用电流斩波控制的电压电流双闭环控制方式进行放电控制,系统充放电过程具有响应速度快、稳态精度高的特点。最后通过仿真验证了开关磁阻式储能飞轮用作不间断电源的可行性。 相似文献

A sliding mode controller for the single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic system has been proposed in this paper. Contrary to the conventional controller, the proposed system consists of maximum power point tracker (MPPT) controller and sliding mode current controller only. The proposed MPPT controller generates current reference directly from the solar array power information and the current controller uses the sliding mode technique for the tight regulation of current. The new MPPT controller does not require the measurement of the voltage derivative which can be a cause of divide-by-zero singularity problems. The sliding mode controller has been constructed based on a time-varying sliding surface to control the sinusoidal inductor current and solar array power simultaneously. The proposed system can avoid the current overshoot and make optimal design for the system components. The structures of a proposed system are simple, but they show the robust tracking property against modeling uncertainties and parameter variations. The mathematical modeling is developed and the experimental results verify the validity of the proposed controller. 相似文献

The maximum power tracking problem and efficient energy utilization of a stand-alone photovoltaic array (PVA) feeding voltage controlled linear and nonlinear loads is studied. A novel and simple on-line fuzzy logic-based dynamic search, detection and tracking controller is developed to ensure maximum power point (MPP) operation under excursions in solar insolation, ambient temperature and electric load variations. A computer simulation model of the PVA renewable utilization scheme including the effects of temperature and solar irradiation changes was developed and fully simulated. The load voltage is controlled by a DC chopper and kept constant at the required rated voltage. A permanent magnet DC motor (PMDC) driving a fan-type load was connected in parallel to an RL passive load. A speed control scheme is also used for the PMDC motor drive so that the drive can be operated at specified speeds. Different controllers have been employed in the unified PVA scheme to control three separate loads at MPP tracking condition namely voltage at load bus and speed of the PMDC motor. The main objective of the paper is to present a novel enhanced, cost-effective MPP detector (MPPD) and dynamic MPP tracking (MPPT) controller for a hybrid mix of electric loads. 相似文献
