Objective
To assess whether targeted neuromuscular exercises can decrease knee loading of adolescent pre-professional footballers with high knee loading as identified with the field-based Drop Vertical Jump Test (DVJT).Design
Prospective controlled trial, conducted between August and November 2016 at Erasmus Medical Centre, The Netherlands. Methods
Pre-professional football players (aged 14–21 years) were evaluated at baseline and after 12 weeks follow-up with the field-based DVJT. The field-based DVJT is a standardised test in which a player drops from a box and jumps up immediately after landing; knee load is calculated based on five parameters. Players with high knee load (probability ≥ 0.75) from one club performed regular training(control group), and players with high knee load from another other club performed targeted neuromuscular exercises for 12 weeks (intervention group). The difference of change in knee load between both groups after 12 weeks was the primary outcome measure. Results
Of 107 eligible players, 75 had a high knee loading. Knee loading decreased in both groups after 12 weeks of training, but change in probability of high knee load was not significantly different between both groups (95% Confidence Interval [?0.012–0.082], p = 0.139).Conclusion
Targeted neuromuscular exercises had no additional effect in decreasing knee loading of adolescent male pre-professional football players compared to regular training.Trial registration number: The Netherlands Trial Register (ID number: 6044). 相似文献2.

There is not enough evidence on the impact of different speed endurance training regimes on footballers’ ability to perform multiple shuttle run performance. This study examined the effect of 4 weeks of speed endurance maintenance (SEM) and speed endurance production (SEP) training on the 5-meter multiple shuttle run test (5-m MST) performance in young elite soccer players. A parallel two-groups, longitudinal design was used. Fifteen players were divided to either SEM (8 repetitions of 20-s all-out sprint interspersed with 40 s of recovery) or SEP (8 repetitions of 20-s all-out bout interspersed with 120 s of recovery) training group. SEM improved the ability to tolerate fatigue and maintained the performance development during the 5-m MST while SEP increased only the 1st sprint showing, simultaneously, an increased fatigue index and performance decrement. The selection of which training regimes to prioritize should be based on the players’ characteristics and individual game requirements

BackgroundChildren with cerebral palsy (CP) may have difficulties under dual-task conditions. Spatiotemporal gait parameters have deteriorated with concurrent tasks in children with CP. However, how dual-task training affects gait parameters in children with spastic diplegic CP has not been clarified.Research questionHow does dual-task training program effect gait, functional skills, and health-related quality of life in children with spastic diplegic CP?MethodsEleven children with spastic diplegic CP (median age 11 y, range 7–16 y; 4 female; 7 male) Gross Motor Function Classification System level 1–2 and obtained 27 and higher scores from Modified Mini Mental Test included in the study. The study was planned as a self-controlled clinical research design. Children were recruited to conventional physiotherapy program for 8 weeks and dual-task training program added to conventional physiotherapy program for following 8 weeks. Children were evaluated at baseline, after conventional physiotherapy program, and after dual-task training program. Children’s gait was evaluated with Zebris™ FDM-2 device and Edinburgh Visual Gait Score, functional mobility skills with 1 min Walk Test (1MWT), and health-related quality of life with the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) - CP module.ResultsThe difference in step length, step time, stride time, cadence and gait speed of spatiotemporal parameters of gait during dual-task performance were found statistically significant in children with spastic diplegic CP, after dual-task training program (p < 0,05). After dual-task training, statistically significant gains were found in 1MWT, movement and balance subtitle of PedsQL-CP module Parent Form (p < 0,05).SignificanceDual-task training program added to a conventional physiotherapy program provides more gains in terms of functionality of children with spastic diplegic CP will contribute to the improvement of the motor functional level. 相似文献
