光子晶体微腔和量子点的集成是实现量子信息处理非常具有潜力的平台之一,利用微腔和量子点的耦合可以制备纠缠光子对,实现对量子态的操控.因为光子晶体微腔具有品质因子高、模场体积小等优点,可以极大地增强光与物质之间的相互作用,从而易于实现量子态在不同物理体系之间的转换.通过单量子点和光子晶体H1微腔的耦合可以产生纠缠光子对,因为H1微腔具有简并的、模式偏振正交的基态模式.通常微腔模式的激发随着量子点在微腔中的位置变化而改变,本文用时域有限差分方法研究了偶极子光源的位置及偏振对激发光子晶体H1微腔模式的影响.结果表明:通过改变偶极子光源位置可以选择性地激发H1微腔简并模式中的一个;具有某一偏振的偶极子光源只能激发相应偏振的微腔模式;模式激发强度的大小也是由偶极子光源在微腔中的位置决定的.鉴于目前量子点在微腔中的位置尚不能精确控制,所以微腔模式受激发光源位置的影响的研究具有重要意义.  相似文献

通过构造一个由相互垂直的两腔和一个二能级原子组成的光学腔-原子系统,研究可控的量子干涉引起的非传统光子传输现象.该系统中,两个正交腔之间通过光纤直接耦合和通过放在两腔交叉处的二能级原子间接耦合.该三模系统支持两个相互垂直的传播方向,即两探测场相互垂直.在考虑原子弛豫速率的情况下,该闭环系统中的光场、腔模与原子跃迁间相互作用所产生的可控量子干涉能导致一些新的对称或非对称的光子输运行为,如相干完美合成、相干完美透明.此外,输运的群速度也可调节,即产生快慢光效应.这些过程能够通过调节探测场间相对相位、两腔之间的隧穿耦合强度进行动态调控.该机制有望用于开发高效的量子信息处理和全光网络的功能元器件(如光开关和路由器等).  相似文献

使用时域有限差分法对近场耦合状态下的光学微腔进行了计算。系统地研究了微腔中不同阶径向模式的各方面性能的差异。并在此基础上讨论了通过改变耦合参数,选择性增强特定模式的途径。研究了数种非均匀介质微腔的性能改变,指出选择性增强特定模式,可以通过以下两类方法:一是对于均匀介质分布的微腔,通过改变耦合参数来改变修逝波场的场强和相位分布,例如改变入射波的入射角,改变耦合间距。二是通过区域性改变微腔的折射率分布来改变微腔的修逝波场的场强和相位分布,如折射率改变(△n)折射率梯度(dn/dr)。探讨选择性抑制高阶模形成改善微腔性能的途径。使得基模获得到高能量密度,和更低的模式体积为研究原子或离子与微腔的相互作用提供更好的环境。  相似文献

基于有机半导体发光材料,研究了低折射率对比度下八重准晶结构中双缺陷微腔之间的缺陷模的耦合特性。研究结果表明,在八重准晶双9孔缺陷情况下,缺陷模不但发生了分裂,还出现了一个由双缺陷微腔与中间散射体所构建的复合腔新模式。在此基础上,利用缺陷模的三维场分布和模式之间的相位关系,揭示了模式耦合的物理机制,这为后续可见光波段有机半导体光子晶体器件的设计与制备提供了理论依据。  相似文献

讨论了非线性光子晶体微腔中二能级原子在相干场驱动下腔场的频谱特性及光子的统计性质.研究结果表明,当光子晶体的态密度很大时,如果腔场模与原子共振荧光Mollow峰的中心峰共振,则腔场的涨落压缩到量子散弹噪声之下,且与线性光子晶体微腔的情况相比其谱线峰值变大.当驱动场频率较大时光子服从亚Poisson分布,且非常接近Poisson分布.  相似文献

研究了高Q腔中单个二能级原子与两模二项式光场依赖强度耦合相互作用系统的腔场谱,给出了弱初始场条件下的数值结果,讨论了两模光场之间的量子干涉对腔场谱结构的影响. 发现当两模光场的频率差Δ>gg为原子与腔场间的耦合常数)时,两模光场间的干涉效应对谱结构没有影响,系统的腔肠谱只是两模腔肠谱的简单叠加;当Δg时两模腔场谱间的干涉比较明显. 在强初始场条件下,量子干涉效应可忽略. 关键词: 腔场谱 量子干涉 两模二项式光场  相似文献

采用几何量子失协度量两个子系统间的关联,利用数值计算方法研究了原子-腔-光纤复合系统中两个原子之间和两个腔场之间的几何量子失协.讨论了腔场与光纤模间的耦合系数和弱相干场强度变化对几何量子失协的影响.研究结果表明:两原子之间和两腔场之间的几何量子失协均随时间作周期性演化,其演化频率随腔场与光纤模间的耦合系数增大而增大.另一方面,随弱相干场强度增大,两原子间和两腔场间的几何量子失协增大.这表明随弱相干场强度增大两原子间或两腔场间的关联增强.  相似文献

研究了两模二项式光场与二能级原子在高Q腔中发生双光子相互作用过程的腔场谱,给出了弱初始场条件下腔场谱的数值计算结果,讨论了两模腔场谱间的量子干涉.结果表明:两模腔场谱间的量子干涉随着频差的增大而呈现出周期性的衰减振荡,其振荡周期约为0·16g(g为原子与光场的相互作用强度系数),频差大于1·6g时干涉效应已经很弱.量子干涉还与初始场强度有关,随着初始场最大光子数的增加,量子干涉效应逐渐增强,但当光子数大于4时,干涉效应迅速减弱,当最大光子数大于6时,量子干涉现象几乎消失.  相似文献

研究由两个相同的二能级原子分别处于用单模光纤耦合的两弱相干光场系统的共生纠缠特性, 通过数值计算研究了光纤模-腔模与原子-腔模的耦合强度比、弱相干光场的强度和两光场相对相位差等因素对系统纠缠演化的影响. 结果表明: 两腔中的两原子之间、两光场之间和每个腔中的原子与光场之间的纠缠随时间呈现周期或准周期性演化, 两腔场之间的纠缠与腔中的两原子的纠缠可以相互转换, 与两原子之间和两光场之间的纠缠相比, 每个腔中光场与原子之间的纠缠随时间变化的周期缩短. 光纤模-腔模与原子-腔模的耦合强度比与两腔中光场相位差对系统纠缠的影响很大, 较小的光纤模-腔模与原子-腔模的耦合强度之比可以获得较大的系统纠缠度. 关键词: 弱相干场 光纤耦合腔 耦合强度 量子纠缠  相似文献

In cavity quantum electrodynamics, it is hard to enhance the coupling strength between quantum dot (QD) and cavity, owing to the limited choice of QDs and the positional uncertainty brought by the inhomogeneous cavity fields. In this paper, we randomly distribute N oscillators with oscillating strength G = G 0 into a cavity filled with a zero-index metamaterial (ZIM). Because of the enhanced uniform fields, each oscillator couples to the field maximum and the N oscillators are equivalent to one oscillator with effective N G 0. This provides a way to enhance the coupling strength just by adding the number of QDs. Both simulation and experiment demonstrate the adjustable coupling strength in ZIM-filled cavities.  相似文献

The influence of local fields on the excitonic Rabi oscillations in an isolated, arbitrary shaped quantum dot (QD) has been theoretically investigated. QD interaction with both a classical electromagnetic field and quantum light has been considered. In the classical light, time harmonic and ultrashort pulse excitations are analyzed. The general formalism has been formulated for quantum light and applied to the case of a Fock qubit. Noticeable modification of the Rabi oscillation dynamics induced by the local fields is predicted to be observable in QDs exposed to both classical and quantum light. In particular, the bifurcation and anharmonism in the Rabi oscillations have been revealed under time harmonic excitation and a dependence of the Rabi oscillation period on the QD depolarization has been obtained.  相似文献

We theoretically study the four-wave mixing(FWM) response in a quantum dot-cavity coupling system, where a two-level quantum dot(QD) is placed in an optical cavity while the cavity mode is coupled to the nanomechanical resonator via radiation pressure. The influences of the QD-cavity coupling strength, the Rabi coupling strength of the QD, and the power of the pump light on the FWM intensity are mainly considered. The numerical results show that the FWM intensity in this hybrid system can be significantly enhanced by increasing the QD-cavity coupling strength. In addition, the FWM intensity can be effectively modulated by the Rabi coupling strength and the pump power. Furthermore, the effects of the cavity decay rate and the cavitypump detuning on the FWM signal are also explored. The obtained results may have potential applications in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information science.  相似文献

We study theoretically the properties of a thin film of a semiconductor embedded in the interface of two kinds of single-negative materials. At some frequencies the structure with suitable size is equivalent to an effective (near) zero-index medium. The coupling of exciton resonance in the semiconductor and the interface mode in a zero-index medium leads to Rabi splitting. Compared with Rabi splitting observed in cavities, the splitting modes in zero-index media are robust against the scaling change of the length and direction of incident wave.  相似文献

In this paper, efficient arbitrary angle bends based on impedance-matched zero-index metamaterials (ZIMs) are proposed. Numerical simulations on ZIM-based bends are carried out in waveguide systems. The results show clearly that electromagnetic waves can tunnel through the ZIM-based bends with high transmittance at any bending angles. Moreover, a realistic ZIM-based bends are designed and fabricated on microstrip transmission line. Both simulated and experimental results confirm well the low loss and arbitrary angle bending effects in a system hiring ZIM-based microstrip ring resonator as bending corners.  相似文献

The transmission spectrum for one atom strongly coupled to the field of a high finesse optical resonator is observed to exhibit a clearly resolved vacuum Rabi splitting characteristic of the normal modes in the eigenvalue spectrum of the atom-cavity system. A new Raman scheme for cooling atomic motion along the cavity axis enables a complete spectrum to be recorded for an individual atom trapped within the cavity mode, in contrast to all previous measurements in cavity QED that have required averaging over 10(3)-10(5) atoms.  相似文献

We demonstrate coherent nonlinear-optical control of excitons in a pair of quantum dots (QDs) coupled via dipolar interaction. The single-exciton population in the first QD is controlled by resonant picosecond excitation, giving rise to Rabi oscillations. As a result, the exciton transition in the second QD is spectrally shifted and concomitant Rabi oscillations are observed. We identify coupling between permanent excitonic dipole moments as the dominant interaction mechanism, whereas quasiresonant (F?rster) energy transfer is weak. Such control schemes based on dipolar interaction are a prerequisite for realizing scalable quantum logic gates.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the spatial propagation of Rabi oscillations (Rabi waves) in one-dimensional inhomogeneous quantum dot (QD) chain. QD-chain is modeled by the set of two-level quantum systems with tunnel coupling between neighboring QDs. The space propagation of Rabi waves in the form of traveling waves and localized wave packets is considered. It is shown, that the propagation of Rabi waves is accompanied by the transfer of the inversion and quantum correlations along the QD-chain and by their reflection and mutual transformations at the spatial inhomogeneities of QE-chain. The effect is potentially applicable in quantum nanooptics and quantum informatics.  相似文献

The vacuum Rabi splitting and Kerr effect are investigated theoretically in a hybrid spin–magnon–photon system, where the nitrogen-vacancy center in diamond driven by two light fields is coupled to a spherical micromagnet embedded in a superconducting coplanar waveguide resonator. The results indicate that the phenomenon of the Mollow triplet and vacuum Rabi splitting can appear by controlling the spin–magnon coupling and magnon–photon coupling. It is shown that the probe absorption spectrum can be adjusted effectively via the pump frequency detuning. Moreover, it is demonstrated that the optical Kerr effect can be tuned by changing the Rabi frequency. This work may provide a possibility for the applications in quantum information processing and quantum sensing of magnetic signal.  相似文献
