We give the quantum structure constants for the analogues of the classical Lie algebras so(n) and sp(n) for any n, as well as their quantum Killing form. We also include a summary of the method used to obtain them.  相似文献

An account is given of the Brillouin scattering of light from liquids. Different contributions to the Brillouin spectrum are discussed and are shown to depend on liquid properties such as sound velocity, viscosity, thermal conductivity, structural relaxation and concentration effects. The importance of these measurements to liquid-state theory is emphasized. Stimulated Brillouin scattering is briefly explained. Finally, the use of the Fabry-Perot interferometer in these experiments is discussed.  相似文献

Many textbooks give an inadequate, and even inaccurate, presentation of the laws established by Graham on diffusion and related topics. These laws are fundamental to the understanding of the motion of gases in porous solids, and, stemming to a considerable extent from applied research on reactions of gases in porous catalysts, and on gas-cooled nuclear reactors, a better appreciation of the significance of the laws has been attained in recent years. A survey is given of Graham's actual findings, and their relation to other investigations, in the light of recent research.  相似文献

This paper considers a new kind of M.H.D. generator operating at extremely low temperature through the use of a working fluid which is either water vapor or metallic vapors. In the first case conductivity is achieved by seeding with electrolytes. A high thermodynamical efficiency is obtained by combination of an adiabatic expansion with an isothermal compression.  相似文献
