介绍了三阶非线性光学原理.根据分子结构特征对各类有机低分子三阶非线性光学材料的结构与性能关系作了评述,提出了分子设计有机三阶NLO材料的一些规律性结论.离域能小的共轭骨架,长的共轭链,吸供取代基的引入,取代基强的供电子性或吸电子性,长的吸供电子取代基之间的距离,以及良好的共平面程度等因素均有利于获得较大的三阶NLO性能.  相似文献

二茂铁经羧基化、酰氯化、与取代芳胺N-酰化等反应合成了7个二茂铁酰胺类金属有机三阶非线性光学材料,其中2个未见文献报道,收率41%~92%.材料结构经IR,1H NMR,MS表征确认.测定了各化合物的紫外-可见吸收光谱,简并四波混频实验检测显示该类化合物具有良好三阶非线性光学性能.  相似文献

本文介绍了非线性光学的简史,非线性光学材料的分类及应用,简述了金属有机非线性光学材料的原理,从分子工程和晶体工程的角度讨论了金属有机非线性光学材料的结构与性质的关系,综述了目前已研究的金属有机化合物和金属有机聚合物的二阶、三阶非线性光学材料,二阶非线性光学材料按目前所做的工作可以分成二大类:一类是含有芳香基或杂环的过渡金属羰基化合物;一类是含有二茂铁基和吸电子基的共轭体系化合物。三阶非线性光学材料的研究工作主要集中在酞菁类的金属配合物上,本文对金属有机化合物作为非线性光学材料的独特之处进行了总结,并对金属有机非线性光学材料的前景作了展望。  相似文献

The current status of organic low-molecular weight and polymeric materials for third-order nonlinear optics is reviewed. The importance of organic materials lies in their promise of large nonlinear optical figure of merit, high optical damage thresholds, ultrafast optical responses, architectural flexibility, and ease of fabrication. Organic materials exhibiting interesting third-order nonlinear optical properties are discussed to illustrate the importance of structure–property correlations. Results on emerging organic materials that include liquids, dyes, fullerenes, charge-transfer complexes, π-conjugated polymers, dye-grafted polymers, organometallic compounds, composites, and liquid crystals are presented. Organic nonlinear optical materials seem promising for a wide range of applications and their potential for integrated optics should be further explored.  相似文献

Satellite-patterns aggregate structures of gold nanoparticles were fabricated by the inducing pi-pi stacking interactions. The self-assembly process of satellite-patterns was tuned by the controlling ligand exchange on the surface of spherical gold nanoparticles, which provide a novel concept and an efficient method for controlling self-assembly of gold nanoparticles. With increasing the porphyrin alkanethiol ratio (r) of gold nanoparticles, the self-assembly induces to form the larger satellite-structures. The study indicates that exchange process of tetra-n-octylammonium bromide molecules and porphyrin alkanethiol molecules results in the formation of satellite-pattern structures with topological features. Nonlinear optical properties of porphyrin alkanethiol capped gold nanoparticles of toluene solution were measured using the Z-scan technique, and its third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility (chi(3)) is calculated as 0.9 x 10(-13) esu, presented the third-order nonlinear optical properties. The well-ordered assembly of gold nanoparticles exhibits controlled the third-order nonlinear optical properties, which can be enhanced with the increasing of the porphyrin alkanethiol ratio in systems.  相似文献

以硝酸镉、硫脲和正硅酸乙酯为前驱体, 采用电化学-溶胶凝胶法, 以ITO玻璃为基底制备了透明薄膜。扫描电子显微镜(SEM)表征表明薄膜为纳米束结构。X射线能谱(EDX)表征表明薄膜由Si、O、Cd、S元素组成, Cd/S(原子比)>1。EDX表征结合循环伏安(CV)实验确定薄膜为Cd/CdS-SiO2复合薄膜。Z扫描表征表明, 薄膜在1064 nm处表现出自散焦特性的非线性折射效应和饱和吸收特性的非线性吸收特性。薄膜的三阶非线性极化率(χ(3))较高, 达到了1.18×10-14~1.39×10-13 (m/V)2, 表明薄膜具有优良的三阶光学非线性。分析认为薄膜中CdS的含量对薄膜的光学性非线性起主要作用。  相似文献

采用电化学诱导溶胶-凝胶法在导电玻璃片上制备了具有三阶非线性光学特性的碲基复合薄膜材料. 采用SEM( 扫描电镜)和EDX( X 光电子能谱)对薄膜的表面形貌和组成进行表征; 应用分光光度计得到薄膜的透射光谱、反射光谱、吸收光谱, 并结合脉冲激光器和 Z 扫描方法测量薄膜的三阶非线性光学特性. 实验结果表明制备的薄膜呈网状结构, 表面组分主要包括Si、Te、O元素; 薄膜在波长为1064nm处呈现负的非线性折射效应和饱和吸收的性质, 其非线性折射系数和非线性吸收系数分别为-4.18×10 - 13 m2/W和-1.6×10 - 6 m/W, 表明了碲基复合薄膜有较强的非线性光学效应, 得到三阶极化率为1.13×10 - 14 (m/V)2, 表明复合薄膜具有优良的三阶非线性光学性能.  相似文献

The χ(2):χ(2) cascading effect via second-order optical nonlinearity produces the same effect of the third-order optical nonlinearity in phase-matching condition. In order to elucidate the relationship for third-order nonlinear optical properties of anisotropic metal nanoparticles between the incident laser wavelength and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) wavelength, gold nanorods (GNRs) with a tuned longitudinal SPR mode in frequency were prepared by seed-mediated methods with two different surfactants, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and benzyldimethylammonium chloride (BDAC). The real and imaginary parts of the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities χ(3) were examined by near-infrared (800 nm) femtosecond Z-scan and I-scan techniques for various gold sols with SPR wavelengths of 530 nm (spheres), 800 nm (nanorods) and 1000 nm (nanorods), named as 530GNSs, 800GNRs and 1000GNRs, respectively. All the samples showed intrinsically third-order nonlinear optical refractive responses. However, as for the real part of χ(3) for one particle, 800GNRs whose plasmon peak was tuned to the incident laser wavelength exhibited a Reχ(3) value 45 times stronger than 530GNSs. More interestingly, the imaginary part of χ(3) was more greatly influenced at the tuned SPR wavelength. Here we first demonstrate that 800GNRs showed plasmon-enhanced saturable absorption (SA) due to a longitudinal SPR tuned to the incident laser wavelength.  相似文献

This review discusses nonlinear optical (NLO) polymeric materials. As an example of a second-order NLO material, a novel copolymer with a diazo dye attached is investigated. The second-order NLO coefficient χ(2) of the copolymer reaches 1.0 × 10?6 esu, which is 7 times larger than that of LiNbO3. A third-order NLO coefficient χ(3) larger than 10?10 esu is obtained for polymers where NLO dyes are introduced into the polymer backbone. The optical transmission loss of these polymers is revealed to be around 2 dB/cm. As these polymers can be formed into channel waveguides using the photo-bleaching technique, they show promise for use in NLO devices because of their processability, transparency and large optical nonlinearity.  相似文献
