In this paper, we study non-cosemisimple Hopf algebras through their underlying coalgebra structure. We introduce the concept of the maximal pointed subcoalgebra/Hopf subalgebra. For a non-cosemisimple Hopf algebra A with the Chevalley property, if its diagram is a Nichols algebra, then the diagram of its maximal pointed Hopf subalgebra is also a Nichols algebra. When A is of finite dimension, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for A’s diagram equaling the diagram of its maximal pointed Hopf subalgebra.  相似文献

A version of Kirby calculus for spin and framed three-manifolds is given and is used to construct invariants of spin and framed three-manifolds in two situations. The first is ribbon *-categories which possess odd degenerate objects. This case includes the quantum group situations corresponding to the half-integer level Chern-Simons theories conjectured to give spin TQFTs by Dijkgraaf and Witten (1990, Commun. Math. Phys.129, 393-429). In particular, the spin invariants constructed by Kirby and Melvin (1991, Invent. Math.105, 473-545) are shown to be identical to the invariants associated to SO(3). Second, an invariant of spin manifolds analogous to the Hennings invariant is constructed beginning with an arbitrary factorizable, unimodular quasitriangular Hopf algebra. In particular a framed manifold invariant is associated to every finite-dimensional Hopf algebra via its quantum double, and is conjectured to be identical to Kuperberg's noninvolutory invariant of framed manifolds associated to that Hopf algebra.  相似文献

Given an (H,R)-Lie coalgebra Γ, we construct (H,R T )-Lie coalgebra ΓT through a right cocycle T, where (H,R) is a triangular Hopf algebra, and prove that there exists a bijection between the set of (H,R)-Lie coalgebras and the set of ordinary Lie coalgebras. We also show that if (L, [, ], Δ, R) is an (H,R)-Lie bialgebra of an ordinary Lie algebra then (L T , [, ], ΔT, R T ) is an (H,R T )-Lie bialgebra of an ordinary Lie algebra.  相似文献

We show that for a large class of contact three-manifolds the groups of Vassiliev invariants of Legendrian and of framed knots are canonically isomorphic. As a corollary, we obtain that the group of finite order Arnold's J+-type invariants of wave fronts on a surface F is isomorphic to the group of Vassiliev invariants of framed knots in the spherical cotangent bundle ST∗F of F.On the other hand, we construct the first examples of contact manifolds for which Vassiliev invariants of Legendrian knots can distinguish Legendrian knots that realize isotopic framed knots and are homotopic as Legendrian immersions.  相似文献

For a quasi-Hopf algebra H, a left H-comodule algebra  and a right H-module coalgebra C we will characterize the category of Doi–Hopf modules C ?(H) in terms of modules. We will also show that for an H-bicomodule algebra  and an H-bimodule coalgebra C the category of generalized Yetter–Drinfeld modules (H) C is isomorphic to a certain category of Doi–Hopf modules. Using this isomorphism we will transport the properties from the category of Doi–Hopf modules to the category of generalized Yetter–Drinfeld modules.  相似文献

Using descent theory, we study Hopf algebra forms of pointed Hopf algebras. It turns out that the set of isomorphism classes of such forms are in one-to-one correspondence to other known invariants, for example the set of isomorphism classes of Galois extensions with a certain group F, or the set of isometry classes of m-ary quadratic forms. Our theory leads to a classification of all Hopf algebras over a field of characteristic zero that become pointed after a base extension, in dimension p, p 2 and p 3, with p odd. We consider the combinatorial Dyson-Schwinger equation X=B+(P(X)) in the non-commutative Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of planar rooted trees HNCK, where B+ is the operator of grafting on a root, and P a formal series. The unique solution X of this equation generates a graded subalgebra AN,P of HNCK. We describe all the formal series P such that AN,P is a Hopf subalgebra. We obtain in this way a 2-parameters family of Hopf subalgebras of HNCK, organized into three isomorphism classes: a first one, restricted to a polynomial ring in one variable; a second one, restricted to the Hopf subalgebra of ladders, isomorphic to the Hopf algebra of quasi-symmetric functions; a last (infinite) one, which gives a non-commutative version of the Faà di Bruno Hopf algebra. By taking the quotient, the last class gives an infinite set of embeddings of the Faà di Bruno algebra into the Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of rooted trees. Moreover, we give an embedding of the free Faà di Bruno Hopf algebra on D variables into a Hopf algebra of decorated rooted trees, together with a non-commutative version of this embedding.  相似文献

We extend several classical results in the theory of invariants of finite groups to the case of action of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H on an algebra satisfying a polynomial identity. In particular, we prove that an H-module algebra A over an algebraically closed field k is integral over the subalgebra of invariants, if H is a semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebra. We show that for char k > 0, the algebra Z\({\left( A \right)^{{H_0}}}\) is integral over the subalgebra of central invariants Z(A)H, where Z(A) is the center of algebra A, H0 is the coradical of H. This result allowed us to prove that the algebra A is integral over the subalgebra Z(A)H in some special case. We also construct a counterexample to the integrality of the algebra \({A^{{H_0}}}\) over the subalgebra of invariants AH for a pointed Hopf algebra over a field of non-zero characteristic.  相似文献

We introduce the notion of an idempotent radical class of module coalgebras over a bialgebra B. We prove that if R is an idempotent radical class of B-module coalgebras, then every B-module coalgebra contains a unique maximal B-submodule coalgebra in R. Moreover, a B-module coalgebra C is a member of R if, and only if, DB is in R for every simple subcoalgebra D of C. The collection of B-cocleft coalgebras and the collection of H-projective module coalgebras over a Hopf algebra H are idempotent radical classes. As applications, we use these idempotent radical classes to give another proofs for a projectivity theorem and a normal basis theorem of Schneider without assuming a bijective antipode.  相似文献

We study Doi–Hopf data and Doi–Hopf modules for Hopf group-coalgebras. We introduce modules graded by a discrete Doi–Hopf datum; to a Doi–Hopf datum over a Hopf group coalgebra, we associate an algebra graded by the underlying discrete Doi–Hopf datum, using a smash product type construction. The category of Doi–Hopf modules is then isomorphic to the category of graded modules over this algebra. This is applied to the category of Yetter–Drinfeld modules over a Hopf group coalgebra, leading to the construction of the Drinfeld double. It is shown that this Drinfeld double is a quasitriangular ${\mathbb{G}}$ -graded Hopf algebra.  相似文献

For a matrix coalgebra C over some field, we determine all small subcoalgebras of the free Hopf algebra on C, the free Hopf algebra with a bijective antipode on C, and the free Hopf algebra with antipode S satisfying on C for some fixed d. We use this information to find the endomorphisms of these free Hopf algebras, and to determine the centers of the categories of Hopf algebras, Hopf algebras with bijective antipode, and Hopf algebras with antipode of order dividing 2d.  相似文献

We introduce a new invariant of bipartite chord diagrams and use it to construct the first examples of groups with Dehn function n2log n. Some of these groups have undecidable conjugacy problem. Our groups are multiple HNN extensions of free groups. We show that n2log n is the smallest Dehn function of a multiple HNN extension of a free group with undecidable conjugacy problem. Quiver Hopf algebras   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper we study subHopfalgebras of graded Hopf algebra structures on a path coalgebra kQc. We prove that a Hopf structure on some subHopfquivers can be lifted to a Hopf structure on the whole Hopf quiver. If Q is a Schurian Hopf quiver, then we classified all simple-pointed subHopfalgebras of a graded Hopf structure on kQc. We also prove a dual Gabriel theorem for pointed Hopf algebras.  相似文献

We prove that a Hopf algebra with a finite coradical filtration is co-Frobenius. We also characterize co-Frobenius Hopf algebras with coradical a Hopf subalgebra. Let H be a Hopf algebra whose coradical is a Hopf algebra. Let gr H be the associated graded coalgebra and let R be the diagram of H, c. f. [2]. Then the following are equivalent: (1) H is co-Frobenius; (2) gr H is co-Frobenius; (3) R is finite dimensional; (4) the coradical filtration of H is finite. This Theorem allows us to give systematically examples of co-Frobenius Hopf algebras, and opens the way to the classification of ample classes of such Hopf algebras. The Hopf algebra of renormalization in quantum field theory is described at a general level. The products of fields at a point are assumed to form a bialgebra B and renormalization endows T(T(B)+), the double tensor algebra of B, with the structure of a noncommutative bialgebra. When the bialgebra B is commutative, renormalization turns S(S(B)+), the double symmetric algebra of B, into a commutative bialgebra. The usual Hopf algebra of renormalization is recovered when the elements of S1(B) are not renormalized, i.e., when Feynman diagrams containing one single vertex are not renormalized. When B is the Hopf algebra of a commutative group, a homomorphism is established between the bialgebra S(S(B)+) and the Faà di Bruno bialgebra of composition of series. The relation with the Connes-Moscovici Hopf algebra is given. Finally, the bialgebra S(S(B)+) is shown to give the same results as the standard renormalization procedure for the scalar field.  相似文献
