The symmetry operators of aq-difference analog of the heat equation in one space dimension are determined. They are seen to generate aq-deformation of the semidirect product of sl(2, ) with the three-dimensional Weyl algebra. It is shown that this algebraic structure is preserved if differentq-analogs of the heat equation are considered. The separation of variables associated to the dilatation symmetry is performed and solutions involving discreteq-Hermite polynomials are obtained.  相似文献

Recent experimental results concerning interaction cross-sections ( σI) are reviewed. The σI values were measured by a transmission method using the fragment separator at GSI. The σI values for B, C, N, O and F isotopes and the recently measured σI for Ar are presented. As related topics, an analysis by the recently developed Glauber model for a few-body system is introduced. By using this analysis, the effective density distributions for light neutron-rich nuclei can be deduced. The recently shown magic number N = 16 near to the neutron drip line is also discussed. The fundamental importance of searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ-decay) is widely recognized. Observation of the decay would tell us that the total lepton number is not conserved and that, consequently, neutrinos are massive Majorana fermions. A brief history of the double-beta decay is presented. The 0νββ-decay is discussed in context of neutrino oscillation data. The perspectives of the experimental 0νββ-decay searches are analyzed. The importance of reliable determination of the 0νββ-decay nuclear matrix elements is pointed out. The problem of distinguishing of the light-neutrino exchange, heavy-neutrino exchange and the trilinear R-parity breaking supersymmetric ( \not Rp \not R_p SUSY) mechanisms of the 0νββ-decay is addressed. Further, the process of resonant neutrinoless double-electron capture (0νɛɛ) is revisited. Arguments are presented that an experimental search for the 0νɛɛ might be feasible.  相似文献

There exists an extension of the projective representation of the real symplectic group associated with the CCR's to a projective representation of a semigroup S such that Sp(2n, R) ? S ? Sp(2n, C). It is proven that S is connected, and the universal covering semigroup S? of S is then constructed. It is also shown that the projective representation V? of S can be lifted to a strongly continuous representation V of S. The representation operators are studied; it is shown that they are injective contractions, and that they leave a subspace isomorphic to the Schwartz space invariant. Finally, the one- parameter contraction subsemigroups of the representation are discussed and their generators are computed.  相似文献

We calculate the one-loop contributions to the difference between the isoscalar on-shell pion-kaon scattering amplitude at the Cheng-Dashen point and the scalar form factor in the framework of three flavor chiral perturbation theory. These corrections turn out to be small. This is further sharpened by treating the kaons as heavy fields (two flavor chiral perturbation theory). We also analyze the two-loop corrections to the kaon scalar form factor based on a dispersive technique. We find that these corrections are smaller than in the comparable case of the scalar form factor of the pion. This is related to the weaker final state interactions in the pion-kaon channel. The nucleon-antinucleon (NN) annihilation process provides a fertile testing ground for microscopic hadron exchange and/or quark models. TheNN system offers a rich ensemble of annihilation channels, whose relative BRs provide strong constraints on dynamical models. Recent experiments show that values of BRs display a significant dependence onL, S andI. These dynamical selection rules,i.e. the suppression of transitions alloweda priori by conservation of quantum numbers, provide key signatures of the annihilation mechanism, and suggest dynamical content beyond simple statistical or flavour symmetry models.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new method to obtain the Lie symmetries and conserved quantities of the discrete wave equation with the Ablowitz-Ladik-Lattice equations. Firstly, the wave equation is transformed into a simple difference equation with the Ablowitz-Ladik-Lattice method. Secondly, according to the invariance of the discrete wave equation and the Ablowitz-Ladik-Lattice equations under infinitesimal transformation of dependent and independent variables, we derive the discrete determining equation and the discrete restricted equations. Thirdly, a series of the discrete analogs of conserved quantities, the discrete analogs of Lie groups, and the characteristic equations are obtained for the wave equation. Finally, we study a model of a biological macromolecule chain of mechanical behaviors, the Lie symmetry theory of discrete wave equation with the Ablowitz-Ladik-Lattice method is verified.  相似文献

This article presents an extensive review of the status of the search of the dark matter. The first eight sections are devoted to topics in dark matter and its experimental searches, and the rest to selected topics in astrophysics and cosmology, which are intended to supply some of the needed background for students in particle physics. Sections 9 and 13 are introductory cosmology. The three astrophysical topics, Big Bang nucleosynthesis Section 10, Boltzmann transport equation and freeze out of massive particles Section 11, and CMB anisotropy Section 12 can all be studied in analytical approaches when reasonable approximations are made. Their original analytically forms, to which this article follows very closely, were given by particle physicists. Dark matter is an evolving subject requiring timely update to stay current. Hence a review of such a subject matter would undoubtedly have something wanting when it appears in print. It is hoped that this review can form a humble basis for those graduate students who would like to pursue the subject of dark matter. Recent experimental programs at RIKEN concerning RI beams are reviewed. RIKEN has the ring cyclotron (RRC) with high intense heavy-ion beams and large acceptance fragment separator, RIPS. The complex can provide high intense RI-beams. By using the high intense RI-beams, a variety of experiments have been done. Recently, nuclear structure for unstable nuclei has been paid much attention. In special, disappearance and appearance of magic numbers are discussed experimentally and theoretically. Thus, in this review, related experiments concerning disappearance and appearance of magic numbers are described. Finally, future project in RIKEN, RI-beam factory. is introduced briefly.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, we are prompted by some recent publications to reply to the criticism of the QCD sum-rules approach contained therein. Hopefully, some of the discussion is of wider interest. In particular, we point out that the multi-gluon operators unlike the multi-quark ones, relevant to the sum rules, do not factorize at large Nc. This implies that the masterfield, even if it is found, will be of no immediate help in evaluating the quarkonium spectrum. Second, we derive new sum rules for light quarks which are sensitive to the mean intensity of the gluon field in the vacuum (the so-called gluon condensate, or 〈vac|G2|vac〉). New sum rules confirm the standard value of 〈vac|G2|vac〉. Some casual remarks on the π0 transitions into two virtual photons, π0 → γ*γ*, are also presented. Finally, we enumerate (in sect. 7) basic points of the sum-rule approach and discuss, im brief, the unsolved problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyse the (2+1)-dimensional KdV and mKdV equations. Firtly, on the basis of the extended Lax pair, we derive these equations.
