Conjugated copolymers based on benzodithiophene (BDT) derivatives and thiophene‐quinoxaline‐thiophene (TQT) segments represent an efficient class of light harvesting materials for organic photovoltaic (OPV) applications. Commonly, BDT‐TQT copolymers are synthesized by Stille cross‐coupling polymerization. In this study, alkoxy and thienyl functionalized alternating BDT‐alt‐TQT copolymers are synthesized by direct arylation polymerization (DArP), using Ozawa conditions. An extensive optimization of the reaction conditions such as the catalytic system, solvent, temperature, base, and the concentration of the catalyst is accomplished. The optical and electrochemical properties of the copolymers obtained by DArP are compared to the reference polymers synthesized by Stille cross‐coupling polymerization. Finally, the optimized BDT‐alt‐TQT copolymers are incorporated into organic solar cells as electron donors. The solar cells of the DArP copolymers exhibit power conversion efficiencies up to 80% (rel.) of their Stille cross coupling analogues. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Derivatives of 6‐iodocoumarin undergoing a direct Stille cross‐coupling reaction with organotin compounds in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(PPh3)4 in dimethylformamide at 80°C is described in this study. It is the first report of the palladium‐catalyzed coupling of iodocoumarins with allyltributyltin under mild conditions to form alkylcoumarin compounds in good yields. © 2014 The Authors. 炔基砜和三丁基锡化氢在四(三苯基膦)钯催化下于苯中室温下进行锡氢化反应4 h,经溶剂转换成DMF后,再在CuI助催化剂存在下与炔基溴化物于室温进行Stille偶联反应,以良好产率且立体选择性地合成了( Z)-2-砜基取代的1,3-烯炔。该“一锅”合成法具有起始原料易得、反应条件温和、操作简便、钯催化剂利用率高和产率好等优势。  相似文献

In this study, 8‐iodocoumarin derivatives underwent a direct Stille cross‐coupling reaction with several organotin compounds in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(PPh3)4 in DMF at 80 °C. The cross‐coupling reaction proceeded smoothly under mild conditions and permitted the formation of 8‐allyl or 8‐prenylcoumarin compounds in good yields. We report a facile synthesis of the well‐known and highly promising conjugated polymer TQ1 using eco‐friendly direct heteroarylation reaction. Optimization of the reaction conditions yielded the target polymer with good optoelectronic and charge‐transport characteristics. The TQ1 polymer obtained in the direct heteroarylation reaction delivered power conversion efficiency of ~5% in organic bulk heterojunction solar cells, which matches well the characteristics of the reference devices assembled using TQ1 batch synthesized via conventional Stille polycondensation reaction. The obtained results highlight the potential of the direct heteroarylation reaction as an efficient and environment‐friendly alternative to Stille cross‐coupling in the design of high‐quality semiconductor materials for organic electronics. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The marine macrolide chagosensine is the only natural product known to date that embodies a Z,Z‐configured chloro‐1,3‐diene unit. This distinguishing substructure was prepared by a sequence of palladium‐catalyzed 1,2‐distannation of an alkyne precursor, regioselective Stille cross‐coupling at the terminus of the resulting bisstannyl alkene with an elaborated alkenyl iodide, followed by chloro‐destannation of the remaining internal site. The preparation of the required substrates centered on cobalt‐catalyzed oxidative cyclization reactions of hydroxylated olefin precursors, which allowed the 2,5‐trans‐disubstituted tetrahydrofuran rings, embedded into each building block, to be formed with excellent selectivity. The highly strained macrolactone could ultimately be closed under forcing Yamaguchi conditions. Comparison of the spectral data of the synthetic sample with those of authentic chagosensine methyl ester confirmed that the structure of this intriguing compound has been mis‐assigned by the isolation team.  相似文献

Stille coupling under standard conditions proceeds in low yield when using hindered organostannanes (1) or (2) and aryl bromide partners. The inclusion of aryl iodide instead of aryl bromide with the same organostannanes, significantly improves the efficiency of the coupling, providing a variety of desired products in good to excellent yield. The yields of Stille coupling are compared to the different reactivity of aryl halides. This study of Stille coupling with different aryl halides are documented and rationalized.  相似文献

Thienoisoindigo (TIIG) has emerged as an attractive building block for high‐performance organic optoelectronic devices. Here we report the first synthesis of a series of π‐conjugated TIIG‐based small molecules and alternating copolymers via direct C–H arylation, which enables the efficient synthesis without use of flammable and toxic orgametallic reagents in fewer steps compared Suzuki and Stille coupling. The direct arylation coupling between TIIG and two respective mono‐bromo aryl reactants clearly shows that the α‐H is more reactive than the β‐H in the thiophene unit of TIIG. The high regioselectivity of TIIG monomer warrants the successful synthesis of high‐quality alternating copolymers with minimal structural defects. PTIIG‐BT polymer synthesized via direct arylation polymerization (DAP) showed comparable molecular weight and hole mobility than the same polymer previously synthesized via Suzuki coupling. Moreover, the two new polymers (PTIIG‐TF and PTIIG‐2FBT) synthesized via DAP showed hole mobility up to 10?3 cm2 V?1 s?1 in FET devices fabricated and tested under ambient conditions. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An ecofriendly heterogeneous catalyst has been synthesized by anchoring palladium onto the surface of organically modified mesoporous silica. The prepared catalyst was characterized using X‐ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopies, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, inductively coupled plasma and thermogravimetric techniques. The catalyst shows high activity in the Suzuki, Heck and Stille cross‐coupling reactions and the synthesis of 5‐substituted 1H‐tetrazoles from sodium azide (NaN3). These methods have the advantages of high yields, green reaction conditions, simple methodology and easy separation and workup. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Regio‐ and stereoselective installation of boryl and stannyl moieties into a carbon–carbon triple bond of various alkynes has been achieved based on a three‐component coupling reaction by using a diboron and a tin alkoxide with the aid of a copper(II) acetate–tricyclohexylphosphine complex, giving diverse vic‐borylstannylalkenes in a straightforward manner. Carbon–tin and carbon–boron bonds of the resulting borylstannylation product are successively transformed into carbon–carbon bonds by a Migita–Kosugi–Stille and a Suzuki–Miyaura coupling, leading to the formation of (Z)‐tamoxifen with anti‐breast cancer activity.  相似文献

A novel type of π‐helicenes is reported, in which the π‐system is truncated to an all‐s‐cis all‐Z oligoene chain. A domino sequence was developed, consisting of up to four consecutive carbopalladation reactions and a terminal Stille cross‐coupling, to generate these entities in one step from the respective linear oligoynes. Despite the minimal π‐system, very high optical rotation values were encountered for the single enantiomers. X‐ray crystallography confirmed their screw‐shaped structure.  相似文献

Palladium‐catalyzed cross‐coupling reactions enable organic chemists to form C? C bonds in targeted positions and under mild conditions. Although phosphine ligands have been intensively researched, in the search for even better cross‐coupling catalysts attention has recently turned to the use of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands, which form a strong bond to the palladium center. PEPPSI (pyridine‐enhanced precatalyst preparation, stabilization, and initiation) palladium precatalysts with bulky NHC ligands have established themselves as successful alternatives to palladium phosphine complexes. This Review shows the success of these species in Suzuki–Miyaura, Negishi, and Stille–Migita cross‐couplings as well as in amination and sulfination reactions.  相似文献

The complex ABC‐tricyclic structure of crotophorbolone, a derivative of the tigliane diterpenoids, was assembled by coupling of simple fragments. The six‐membered C‐ring fragment, having five contiguous stereocenters, was stereoselectively constructed from (R)‐carvone. After attachment of the five‐membered A‐ring through the π‐allyl Stille coupling reaction, the α‐alkoxy bridgehead radical reaction effected the endo‐cyclization of the seven‐membered B‐ring by forming the sterically congested bond at C9 and C10 stereospecifically and stereoselectively, respectively. Finally, the functional groups on the 5/7/6‐membered ring system were manipulated by rhodium‐catalyzed C2 olefin isomerization, C13 decarboxylative oxidation, and C4 hydroxylation, thus completing the first total synthesis of crotophorbolone.  相似文献

Effective peripheral fabrication methods of meso‐aryl‐substituted subporphyrins were explored for the first time. Hexabrominated subporphyrins 2 were prepared quantitatively from the bromination of subporphyrins 1 with bromine. Hexaphenylated subporphyrins 3 and hexaethynylated subporphyrins 4 and 5 were synthesized by Suzuki–Miyaura coupling and Stille coupling, respectively, in good yields. X‐ray crystal structures of 2 b , 3 b , 4 b , and 5 a revealed preservation of the bowl‐shaped bent structures with bowl depths similar to that of 1 . Hexaethynylated subporphyrins exhibit large two‐photon‐absorption cross‐sections due to effective delocalization of the conjugated network to the ethynyl substituents.  相似文献
