Abstract

In Dedekind-finite ring, we present the group inverse of sum of two group invertible elements under different conditions. Then, the core inverse of a sum of two core invertible elements is investigated. Furthermore, the core inverse of the difference of two core invertible elements is presented. These results generalized the corresponding results of complex matrices.  相似文献

By a Boolean inverse semigroup we mean an inverse semigroup whose semilattice of idempotents is a Boolean algebra. We study representations of a given inverse semigroup in a Boolean inverse semigroup which are tight in a certain well defined technical sense. These representations are supposed to preserve as much as possible any trace of Booleanness present in the semilattice of idempotents of  . After observing that the Vagner–Preston representation is not tight, we exhibit a canonical tight representation for any inverse semigroup with zero, called the regular tight representation. We then tackle the question as to whether this representation is faithful, but it turns out that the answer is often negative. The lack of faithfulness is however completely understood as long as we restrict to continuous inverse semigroups, a class generalizing the E *-unitaries. Partially supported by CNPq.  相似文献

We define and investigate the e-core inverse and f-dual core inverse in a ring with involution as extensions of the core and dual core inverse, respectively. Using these definitions, we present and characterize the e-core partial order and the f-dual core partial order. We describe the sets of all elements a Rickart ?-ring which are below a given element under the e-core and f-dual core partial order. A perturbation bound for the Drazin inverse AD with Ind(A+E)=1 has recently been developed. However, those upper bounds are not satisfied since it is not tight enough. In this paper, a sharper upper bounds for ||(A+E)#AD|| with weaker conditions is derived. That new bound is also a generalization of a new general upper bound of the group inverse. We also derive a new expression of the Drazin inverse (A+E)D with Ind(A+E)>1 and the corresponding upper bound of ||(A+E)DAD|| in a special case. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the sharpness of the new bounds.  相似文献

In this paper, we revise the core EP inverse of a square matrix introduced by Prasad and Mohana in [12], Core EP inverse, Linear and Multilinear Algebra 62(3) (2014), 792–802. Firstly, we give a new representation and a new characterization of the core EP inverse. Then, we study some properties of the core EP inverse by using a representation by block matrices. Secondly, we extend the notion of core EP inverse to rectangular matrices by means of a weighted core EP decomposition. Finally, we study some properties of weighted core EP inverses.  相似文献

Let R be a ring with involution. In this paper, we introduce a new type of generalized inverse called pseudo core inverse in R. The notion of core inverse was introduced by Baksalary and Trenkler for matrices of index 1 in 2010 and then it was generalized to an arbitrary ?-ring case by Raki?, Din?i? and Djordjevi? in 2014. Our definition of pseudo core inverse extends the notion of core inverse to elements of an arbitrary index in R. Meanwhile, it generalizes the notion of core-EP inverse, introduced by Manjunatha Prasad and Mohana for matrices in 2014, to the case of ?-ring. Some equivalent characterizations for elements in R to be pseudo core invertible are given and expressions are presented especially in terms of Drazin inverse and {1,3}-inverse. Then, we investigate the relationship between pseudo core inverse and other generalized inverses. Further, we establish several properties of the pseudo core inverse. Finally, the computations for pseudo core inverses of matrices are exhibited.  相似文献

Abstract

In a ring with involution, we prove that a Drazin invertible element is pseudo core invertible if and only if its spectral idempotent is {1, 4}-invertible. As its applications, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for 1???ba (resp., ba) being pseudo core invertible while 1???ab (resp., ab) has pseudo core inverse, and the pseudo core inverse of 1???ba (resp., ba) is given in terms of 1???ab (resp., ab). Inspired by the above idea, Jacobson’s lemma for Moore-Penrose inverse is considered.  相似文献

Let S° be an inverse semigroup with semilattice biordered set E° of idempotents and E a weakly inverse biordered set with a subsemilattice Ep = { e ∈ E | arbieary f ∈ E, S(f , e) loheain in w(e)} isomorphic to E° by θ:Ep→E°. In this paper, it is proved that if arbieary f, g ∈E, f ←→ g→→ f°θD^s° g°θand there exists a mapping φ from Ep into the symmetric weakly inverse semigroup P J(E∪ S°) satisfying six appropriate conditions, then a weakly inverse semigroup ∑ can be constructed in P J(S°), called the weakly inverse hull of a weakly inverse system (S°, E, θ, φ) with I(∑) ≌ S°, E(∑) ∽- E. Conversely, every weakly inverse semigroup can be constructed in this way. Furthermore, a sufficient and necessary condition for two weakly inverse hulls to be isomorphic is also given.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate additive properties of generalized Drazin inverse of two Drazin invertible linear operators in Banach spaces. Under the commutative condition of PQ=QP, we give explicit representations of the generalized Drazin inverse d(P+Q) in term of P, Pd, Q and Qd. In this paper we propose a procedure to construct approximations of the inverse of a class of C m differentiable mappings. First of all we determine in terms of the data a neighbourhood where the inverse mapping is well defined. Then it is proved that the theoretical inverse can be expressed in terms of the solution of a differential equation depending on parameters. Finally, using one-step matrix methods we construct approximate inverse mappings of a prescribed accuracy.  相似文献

In this paper, we present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the (bc)-inverse and several representations for the (bc)-inverse related to the group inverse. In this paper we study inexact inverse iteration for solving the generalised eigenvalue problem A xM x. We show that inexact inverse iteration is a modified Newton method and hence obtain convergence rates for various versions of inexact inverse iteration for the calculation of an algebraically simple eigenvalue. In particular, if the inexact solves are carried out with a tolerance chosen proportional to the eigenvalue residual then quadratic convergence is achieved. We also show how modifying the right hand side in inverse iteration still provides a convergent method, but the rate of convergence will be quadratic only under certain conditions on the right hand side. We discuss the implications of this for the preconditioned iterative solution of the linear systems. Finally we introduce a new ILU preconditioner which is a simple modification to the usual preconditioner, but which has advantages both for the standard form of inverse iteration and for the version with a modified right hand side. In this article, we investigate the Drazin invertibility for the elements of an arbitrary semiring. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and expressions of the Drazin inverse of an element in an arbitrary semiring.
