The oscillation of certain third-order nonlinear variable delay functional dynamic equations with nonlinear neutral on time scales is discussed in this article. By using the generalized Riccati transformation and a lot of inequality techniques, some new oscillation criteria for the equations are established. Many of the results are new for the corresponding third-order difference equations and differential equations are as special cases. Fourth-order advanced differential equations naturally appear in models concerning physical, biological, chemical phenomena applications. The aim of this paper is to study the oscillatory properties of fourth-order advanced differential equations with p-Laplacian like operators. We obtain some oscillation criteria for the equation by the theory of comparison. The obtained results improve the well-known oscillation results in the literature. This paper is concerned with the oscillatory behavior of a class of third-order noonlinear variable delay neutral functional dynamic equations on time scale. By using the generalized Riccati transformation and inequality technique, we establish some new oscilla- tion criteria for the equations. Our results extend and improve some known results, but also unify the oscillation of third-order nonlinear variable delay functional differential equations and functional difference equations with a nonlinear neutral term. Some linear difference equations with periodic coefficients (not necessarily nonnegative) are considered. Necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the solutions are established. Conditions under which all nonoscillatory solutions tend to zero at ∞ are also presented. This paper is concerned with the oscillation of a class of partial functional population model, and some sufficient conditions for all positive solutions of the model to oscillate about the positive equilibrium are obtained. The approach is based on the upper- and lower-solution method of the partial functional differential equations and the oscillation theory of the functional differential equation.
