In this work we study the continuity and structural stability of the uniform attractor associated with non-autonomous perturbations of differential equations. By a careful study of the different definitions of attractor in the non-autonomous framework, we introduce the notion of lifted-invariance on the uniform attractor, which becomes compatible with the dynamics in the global attractor of the associated skew product semiflow, and allows us to describe the internal dynamics and the characterization of the uniform attractors. The associated pullback attractors and their structural stability under perturbations will play a crucial role.  相似文献

This paper extends the Morse index theory of C. C. Conley to semiflows π on a noncompact meric space X. π is assumed to satisfy a hypothesis related to conditional α-contraction. We collect background material, define quasi-index pairs and the Morse index of a compact, isolated invariant set K, and prove that the Morse index is a connected simple system. We study repeller-attractor pairs in K, define index triples, and prove their existence and several properties leading to the concepts of the connection index, the connection map and the splitting class. Finally, we consider paths (continuous families) of pairs (π, K) and study continuations of the Morse and the connection indices along such paths. The present paper is a sequel to the author's previous work: On the homotopy index for infinite-dimensional semiflows (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.269 (1982), 351–382).  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a class of pseudo monotone semiflows, which only enjoy some weak monotonicity properties and are defined on product-ordered topological spaces. Under certain conditions, several convergence principles are established for each precompact orbit of such a class of semiflows to tend to an equilibrium, which improve and extend some corresponding results already known. The aim of this paper is to obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a nonuniform exponential dichotomy over a general class of linear skew-product semiflows (over semiflows) on a Banach space. We extend Datko’s classical result to the case of the exponential nonuniform dichotomy of linear skew-product semiflows over semiflows on a Banach space, by using Lyapunov norms.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the exponential dichotomy of linear skew-product semiflows over semiflows by considering the operators generated by the integral equation related to strongly continuous cocycles over metric spaces acting on Banach bundles. Summary For a transverse homoclinic orbit of a mapping (not necessarily invertible) on a Banach space, it is shown that the mapping restricted to orbits near is equivalent to the shift automorphism on doubly infinite sequences on finitely many symbols. We study two variations of Bowen's definitions of topological entropy based on separated and spanning sets which can be applied to the study of discontinuous semiflows on compact metric spaces. We prove that these definitions reduce to Bowen's ones in the case of continuous semiflows. As a second result, we prove that our entropies give a lower bound for the τ-entropy defined by Alves, Carvalho and Vásquez (2015). Finally, we prove that for impulsive semiflows satisfying certain regularity condition, there exists a continuous semiflow defined on another compact metric space which is related to the first one by a semiconjugation, and whose topological entropy equals our extended notion of topological entropy by using separated sets for the original semiflow.  相似文献

We study the direct product decomposition of quantum many-valued algebras (QMV algebras) which generalizes the decomposition theorem of ortholattices (orthomodular lattices).In detail,for an idempo- tent element of a given QMV algebra,if it commutes with every element of the QMV algebra,it can induce a direct product decomposition of the QMV algebra.At the same time,we introduce the commutant C(S) of a set S in a QMV algebra,and prove that when S consists of idempotent elements,C(S) is a subalgebra of the QMV algebra.This also generalizes the cases of orthomodular lattices.  相似文献

In this note we study radicals of skew polynomial ring R[x; α] and skew Laurent polynomial ring R[x, x ?1; α], for a skew-Armendariz ring R. We consider the problem of prescribing conformally the scalar curvature on compact manifolds of positive Yamabe class in dimension . We prove new existence results using Morse theory and some analysis on blowing-up solutions under suitable pinching conditions on the curvature function. In this paper we present new stability and extensibility results for skew-product semiflows with a minimal base flow. In particular, we describe the structure of uniformly stable and uniformly asymptotically stable sets admitting backwards orbits and the structure of omega-limit sets. As an application, the occurrence of almost periodic and almost automorphic dynamics for monotone non-autonomous infinite delay functional differential equations is analyzed.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a class of essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows, which are defined on an ordered metric space and are generalizations of strongly order-preserving semiflows. For essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows, we prove several principles, which are analogues of the nonordering principle for limit sets, the limit set dichtomy and the sequential limit set trichotomy for strongly order-preserving semiflows. Then, under certain compactness hypotheses, we obtain some results on convergence, quasiconvergence and stability in essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows. Finally, some applications are made to quasimonotone systems of delay differential equations and reaction-diffusion equations with delay, and the main advantages of our results over the classical ones are that we do not require the delicate choice of state space and the technical ignition assumption.  相似文献

Two smooth functions f, g: M → ℝ are called isotopic if f = h 2gh 1 for some diffeomorphisms h 1 ∈ $ \mathcal{D}_0 $ \mathcal{D}_0 and h 2 ∈ Diff+(ℝ). Let F be the space of Morse functions on M which are constant on each boundary component and have no critical points on the boundary. A criterion for two Morse functions from F to be isotopic is proved. For each Morse function fF, a collection of Morse local coordinates in disjoint circular neighborhoods of its critical points is constructed, which continuously and Diff(M)-equivariantly depends on f in C -topology on F (“uniform Morse lemma”). Applications of these results to the problem of describing the homotopy type of the space F are formulated.  相似文献
