PSTN(公用交换电话网)将逐渐向分组化和宽带化的方向演变,在演变过程中,PSTN的网络简化与采用多业务交换平台,将起重要的作用。文中对这两方面作一简要介绍,说明网络简化的目标和应考虑的实际问题,包括远端交换模块和转接局、网关局的合理配置,以及大容量交换系统的选用。并以E-Cube多媒体交换系统为例,说明窄带STM(同步传送模式)和宽带ATM(异步传送模式)的综合交换,窄带业务与IP的结合,以及ATM与IP的结──MPLS(多协议标记交换)。这种多业务交换平台用在ATM/IP骨干网的边缘级,将有利于PSTN与各种新型网络互通。  相似文献

文章探索了一种以低廉价格实现多业务高速接入的光突发交换(OBS)接入网方案,方案采用OBS技术实现多业务传送平台.文章介绍了该方案的网络架构、边缘节点和核心节点的结构,以及基于多协议标签交换(MPLS)的控制平面和数据平面的软件架构;重点研究了一种在边缘节点处权衡带宽利用率和实时业务延时要求的业务分类和调度机制,利用该机制可以实现满足不同业务要求的多业务高速接入,并可根据实时性业务低延时的要求来合理地分类和设置最大等待时间.  相似文献

Ethernet is evolving from its origins in the local area network into a cost-effective and reliable wide area network technology. Market research shows that business customers are moving away from traditional leased lines and selecting Ethernet as the access network technology of choice due to its low cost, simplicity and flexibility. Developments in Ethernet technology are now offering service providers the opportunity to deliver cost-effective carrier class Ethernet services. In particular, a new generation of Ethernet network termination equipment (NTE) is emerging which provides remote management, flexible bandwidth and fault diagnosis while supporting access to multiple services delivered over a single physical connection. This paper describes the advantages and potential cost savings of using Ethernet in the access network. A case study for a city demonstrates significant capital expenditure cost savings and highlights the advantages of using new Ethernet NTEs, which can be up to ten times cheaper than SDH technology, delivering equivalent bandwidth. Remote management and fault diagnosis features can also reduce operational expenditure by avoiding unnecessary site visits. A network architecture is presented which supports delivery of Ethernet services over a combination of circuit-switched and packet-switched domains. New standards which are maturing in the IETF, IEEE and ITU to support Ethernet delivery of interoperable services with carrier class reliability are also discussed.  相似文献

A recently introduced large-size commercially available electronic switching system has versatility in application to different hierarchies of switching stages and is available not only in the telephone systems, but for forthcoming new telecommunication services such as video telecommunications, data applications, mobile radio telephones, etc. Successive developmental programs are now in progress for remote control switching systems, a small-medium-size electronic switching system and data-switching systems. In the international telecommunication field, an electronic telegraph switching system has been completed and electronic telex and telephone switching systems and a data-switching system are now under development. In this paper, the method of triangular carrier switching control of two-level inverters is extended to cascaded multilevel inverters using phase-shifted multicarrier unipolar pulsewidth modulation (PWM). The condition for smooth modulation is obtained using the Bessel's function representation of the PWM output and the switching condition of the multilevel-inverter-controlled system. A method is proposed for the determination of the minimum amplitude of the triangular carrier for smooth modulation at fixed switching frequency. It is shown that the multilevel modulation based on the phase-shifted carriers significantly reduces the ripple magnitude in the switching function and allows the use of a smaller carrier amplitude under closed loop. This increases the forward gain and, hence, improves the tracking characteristics. The proposed cascaded multilevel inverter control is implemented for the operation of a distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) in the voltage control mode. The experimental verification of the theoretical and simulation results is provided through a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) based control of a laboratory model of a single-phase DSTATCOM.  相似文献

A super-tripling technology used in radio-over-fiber systems is presented in this letter for the optical generation and multiplexing of multiservice wireless signals within a millimeter-wave band. To realize the technology, optical carrier suppression is followed by optical single sideband with suppressed carrier modulation in the central station and optical stopband filtering in the base station is utilized. With the technology, 38.5-GHz amplitude shift keying and 41-GHz differential phase-shift keying signals both with 1.25-Gb/s data bit rate were demonstrated experimentally, and power penalties of about 1 dB at a bit-error rate of $10^{-8}$ were obtained after both signals transmitted over 10 km fiber. The spurious-free dynamic range of the link was measured to be 65 $hbox{dB}cdothbox{Hz}^{2/3}$ for the 38.5-GHz channel and 70 $hbox{dB}cdothbox{Hz}^{2/3}$ for the 41-GHz channel, both with the phase-noise at about ${-}$70 dBc/Hz.   相似文献
