Modeling and Analysis of Complex Equipment Maintenance Dynamics

An equipment maintenance system is naturally a complex dynamical system. The effective mamanagement must be based on the knowledge of the system＇s intrinsic dynamics. And the strueture of the maintenance system determines its behavior. This paper analyzes the basic structures and elements of a maintenance system for complex multi-components equipment. The maintenance system is considered as a dynamic system whose behavior is influenced by its structure＇s feedback and interaction, and the system＇s available resources. Building the dynamical model with Simulink, we show some results about the maintenance system＇s nonlinear dynamics, ods. The model can be used for understanding and which operational adjustments of maintenance which are never given by stochastic process methdetermining maintenance system behavior, towards n of maintenance requirements and timely supply of maintenance resources can be made in a more informed way.

Mathematical Statistics Method of Residual Static Torque Controlling

This paper analyzes the problems existing in the detection and determination on the traditional residual torque. It is pointed out that the detection value is mistakenly used as the truth value and the lower limit of design torque is mistakenly used as the residual torque criterion. The calculation formula of the determination( limit)value of the test value of RM and DFM is proposed. By defining related parameters,the torque limit value corresponding to the tightening level,the ratio of the measured value to the truth value,μ and σ related to the ratio of A and C,and the confidence coefficient related to the confidence probability,a mathematical statistical method of residual static torque controlling is established,which improves the control precision on the residual torque.     

Intellectualization of Design Technique for Product Maintainability

The basis of the two guideline lectures for maintainability design, namely “maintainability design criterions“ and “cases compilation of maintainability design technique“, an intellectualized architecture for combining rule-based reasoning(RBR) and case-based reasoning( CBR ) , is presented in this paper by analyzing from maintainability design procedure to the thought of our solving the maintainability design problem. Furthermore, the domain model and reasoning process is introduced and a representation of maintainability domain knowledge is given. Finally, the computer-aided engineering system for maintainability design (MCAES) which is based on intellectualized architecture is reported; its function and implementation is described.     

Customer Value Analysis in the Context of Internet Commerce of Industrial Robots

Internet commerce of industrial robots has the potential to provide higher value to customers in downstream industries.Aiming to transform the potential to a reality,customer values are systematically analyzed on basis of Value-Focused Thinking,which includes five aspects of identification,expression,organization,measurement and utilization.Nine types of heuristic questions are firstly used to identify customers ’ value statements.These statements are then transformed into a common expression.Then means-ends analysis and partwhole analysis are used to infer the relationships among statements,and result in a means-ends network and a hierarchical value tree for organizing them.To measure achievement of customer values,a decision model is used to identify and select the measurable attribute of each value statement,and a value model is then constructed from the set of measurable attributes.Finally,customer values are actively applied to support decision making of customer procurement,website design,creative or improved design of industrial robots.
