采用截断本征方程的方法研究2+1维SU(2)格点规范场的胶球质量及胶球波函数.计算结果表明:五阶胶球质量Δm/e²与五阶真空波函数的μ₀一样没有表现出良好的收敛行为,在1/g²>0.8区间,胶球质量逐渐下降;胶球波函数μ₀^F和μ₂^F在1/g²>0.8时,趋于平稳,有较好的标度行为.     

在格点上构造计算胶球质量的新途径

发展了一种为了计算胶球质量而构造格点算符的新途径.基于所选用算符的连续极限与状态量子数JPC两者之间的联系,状态的自旋就可以在数值模拟中唯一和直接地被确定下来.进而,这一途径可以被应用于计算任意自旋J的胶球质量.在淬火近似下,给出在SU(3)纯规范场中0⁺⁺态和2⁺⁺态胶球质量的初步结果,它们分别是1754(85)(86)MeV和2417(56)(117)MeV.     

用改进的格点哈密顿量计算2+1维SU(2)规范场胶球质量

用改进的格点哈密顿量和截断本征方程法计算2+1维SU(2)规范场胶球质量,结果在广阔的耦合区内(1.0≤1/g²≤8.0)显示出极好的标度行为.     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球质量的七阶RPA近似

采用无规相近似(RPA)方法,用空心图作为试探波函数,利用Feymann?Hellman定理计算七阶2?+?1维SU(2?)格点规范场的胶球质量,在弱耦合区1/g2?=1.0?–?1.8胶球质量表现出良好的标度行为,基本趋于常数(m/e2?≈1.2?0±0?.0?1)?.     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球质量的无规相近似计算

采用无规相近似(RPA)耦合集团展开方法,用空心图作为试探波函数,利用Feymann-Hellman定理和截断薛定谔方程本征值方程的方法得到的封闭方程组,计算出三到六阶2+1维SU(2)格点规范场的胶球质量.结果显示:当计算进行到六阶时,胶球质量已出现标度窗口和收敛趋势,预示七阶结果将在弱耦合区能表现出良好的标度行为和收敛性     

2+1维U(1)改进格点规范理论中0++胶球波函数的三阶结果

用改进的格点规范场哈密顿量和截断本征方程法计算2+1维U(1)规范场的0++胶球波函数，三阶结果比二阶结果的标度行为有了较大的改善.     

2+1维SU(3)0++胶球质量

提出变形集团展开法研究2+1维SU(3)格点规范场的胶球质量.这种方法采用相连空心图的线性组合作为试探波函数,并引入了Wilson圈图的平均值.计算结果表明,变形集团展开法的真空能量比普通集团展开法方法的真空能量低,0⁺⁺胶球质量m/e²的二阶和三阶结果在耦合常数β=4.5—8.0区间,表现出较好的标度行为和良好的收敛性.     

3+1维格点规范理论0++和0－－胶球质量

在哈密顿形式下,把无规相近似方法从(2+1)维SU(2)格点规范场推广到3+1维SU(3)格点规范场,利用这种改进的耦合集团展开方法计算3+1维SU(3)的真空波函数和0^－－与0⁺⁺胶球质量之比,得到令人满意的结果:γ=m(0－－)m(0++)=1.8578±0.0506.

A Lattice Study of the Glueball Spectrum

Glueball Spectrum is studied using an improved gluonic action on asymmetric lattices in the pure SU(3) gauge theory.The smallest spatial lattice spacing is about 0.08 fm which makes the extrapolation to the continuum limit more reliable.In particular.attention is paid to the scalar glueball mass which is known to have problems in the extrapolation.Converting our lattice results to physical units using the scale set by the static quark potential,we obtain the following results for the glueball masses:MG(0 )=1730(90)MeV for the scalar glueball mass and MG(2 )=2400(95)MeV for the tensor glueball.

Calculation of Vacuum Wavefunction and Mass .Gap from Improved (2+l)-Dimensional SU(2) Lattice Gauge Field Hamiltonian

The truncated eigenvalue equation of SU(N) lattice gauge theory is studied by using improved lattice gauge Hamiltonian with a proper truncation scheme that preserves the continuum limit. The calculations of vacuum state wavefunction and glueball mass of (2+1)-dimensional SU(2) theory up to third order are carried out, the results show the improvement of scaling behavior in deep weak coupling region.     

Glueballs and Instantons in Lattice SU(2) Gauge Theory

The SU(2) glueball masses and the gluonic correlation functions in the J^P = 0⁺,2⁺ and 0^- channels are calculated from the cooled and uncooled gauge configurations. The improved action and the anisotropic lattice are used in this work. The instanton-induced attractive force in the 0⁺ channel and the repulsive force in the 0^- channel are confirmed by the Monte Carlo simulation. There is evidence that the instanton vacuum contribution to the 0⁺ glueball mass is significant.     

NEW MESON MASS RELATION AND LOWEST PSEUDOSCALAR GLUEBALL MASS

After considering its mixing with the glueball, we give a new mass relation for the meson nonet. According to this mass relation and the predicted mass of the pseudoscalar glueball given by lattice calculations and the effective Hamiltonian, the expected mass of the mixed pseudoscalar glueball is about 1.7 GeV. This result is helpful in the experimental search for the mixed isoscalar pseudoscalar glueball. η(1760) is discussed as a possible candidate for this type of particle.     

Thied—Order Approximation of 0^＋＋ Glueball Mass and Wavefunction of （2＋1）—Dimensional SU（3） Lattice Gauge Theory

The random phase approximation is applied to the coupled-cluster expansions of lattice gauge theory (LGT) Using this method,wavefuctions are approximated by linear combination of graplh consisting of only one connected wilson loop.We study the excited state energy and wavelunction in (2 1)-D SU(3) LGT up to the thired order,The glueball mass shows a good scaling behavior.
