Ni/α-Al2O3 catalysts were found to be active in the temperature range 600 ~ 900℃ for both CO2 reforming and partial oxidation of methane. The effects of Ni loading, reaction temperature and feed gas ratio for the combination of CO2 reforming and partial oxidation of CH4 over Ni/α-Al2O3 were investigated.Catalysts of xwt%Ni/α-Al2O3(x=2.5,5,8 and 12) were prepared by wet impregnating the calcined support with a solution of nickel nitrate.XRD patterns and activity tests have verified that the 5wt%Ni/α-Al2O3 was the most active catalyst,as compared with the other prepared catalyst samples. An increase of the Ni loading to more than 5wt% led to a reduction in the Ni dispersion. In addition,by combining the endothermic carbon dioxide reforming reaction with the exothermic partial oxidation reaction, the loss of catalyst activity with time on stream was reduced with the amount of oxygen added to the feed.  相似文献

A new monolithic Ni/CeO2-ZrO2/γ-Al2O3 catalyst for combined partial oxidation and CO2 reforming of methane was prepared. The result shows that the addition of O2 to the feed can improve the activity of the catalyst and adjust the H2/CO ratio of the productive gases.  相似文献

The partial oxidation of methane to synthesis gas is studied in this paper over Ni/Al2O3 catalysts under atmospheric pressure. The effects of Ni loading on the activity and stability of catalysts with 5 mm α-Al2O3 and θ-Al2O3 pellets as supports were measured in a continuous fixed bed reactor. It is found that the optimum Ni loading is 10%. And the effect of reaction conditions on partial oxidation of methane is also studied. The methane conversion and CO selectivity increase with the increase of the reaction temperature and the space velocity on 10%Ni/α-Al2O3 catalysts. The best CH4/O2 mole ratio is 2 for CO selectivity, and the optimum space velocity is 5.4x105 h-1.  相似文献

A series of Ni/SBA-15 catalysts with Ni contents from 7.5 wt% to 15 wt% were prepared by impregnation method. The effect of O2 and H2O on the combined reforming of the simulated biogas to syngas was investigated in a continuous flow fixed-bed micro-reactor. The stability of the catalyst was tested at 800 ℃. The results indicated that 10 wt%Ni/SBA-15 catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activities for the combined reforming of the simulated biogas to syngas. Under the reaction conditions of the feed gas molar ratios CH4/CO2/O2/H2O = 2/1/0.6/0.6, GHSV = 24000 ml•g{cat}-1\cdoth-1 and the reaction temperatureT = 800 ℃, the conversions of CH4 and CO2 were 92.8% and 76.3%, respectively, and the yields of CO and H2 were 99.0% and 82.0%, respectively. The catalytic activities of the catalyst did not decrease obviously after 100 h reaction time on stream.  相似文献

Combination of partial oxidation of methane (POM) with carbon dioxide reforming of methane (CRM) has been studied over Ru-based catalysts at 550 ℃. POM, CRM and combined reaction were performed over 8wt%Ru/γ-Al2O3 and the results show that both POM and CRM contribute to the combined reaction, between which POM plays a more important role. Moreover, the addition of Ce to Ru-based catalyst results in an improvement in the activity and CO selectivity under the adopted reaction conditions. The Ce-doped catalyst was characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, SEM, XRD, TPR, XPS and in situ DRIFTS. The mechanism has been studied by in situ DRIFTS together with the temperature distribution of catalyst bed. The mechanism of the combined reaction is more complicated and it is the combination of POM and CRM mechanisms in nature. The present paper provides a new catalytic system to activate CH4 and CO2 at a rather low temperature.  相似文献

Thermodynamic analysis was applied to study combined partial oxidation and carbon dioxide reforming of methane in view of carbon formation. The equilibrium calculations employing the Gibbs energy minimization were performed upon wide ranges of pressure (1-25 atm), temperature (600-1300 K), carbon dioxide to methane ratio (0-2) and oxygen to methane ratio (0-1). The thermodynamic results were compared with the results obtained over a Ru supported catalyst. The results revealed that by increasing the reaction pressure methane conversion decreased. Also it was found that the atmospheric pressure is the preferable pressure for both dry reforming and partial oxidation of methane and increasing the temperature caused increases in both activity of carbon and conversion of methane. The results clearly showed that the addition of O 2 to the feed mixture could lead to a reduction of carbon deposition.  相似文献

V2O5/γ-Al2O3-TiO2 catalysts were prepared by the mixing sol-gel and co-impregnation method. The performance of the catalysts for complete oxidation of ethanol was performed in a conventional fixed-bed quartz reactor. And the effects of support, preparation methods and vanadium content have been investigated. The results showed that 5% V2O5 catalyst supported on γ-Al2O3-TiO2 possessed the best ethanol conversion under the considered temperature. This may be ascribed to the highly dispersible active component, mutual function between the active component and the carriers. The nature of the best performance for 5%V/γ-Al2O3-TiO2 catalyst may be related to the high V4+ amounts on the surface. And the surface V4+ species may play an important role in the formation of active site for the total ethanol oxidation.  相似文献

Ni catalysts supported on Al2O3, ZrO2-Al2O3, CeO2-Al2O3 and ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 were prepared by coprecipitation method, and their catalytic performances for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen were investigated. The Ni-supported catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR and XPS. The relationship between the structures and catalytic activities of the catalysts was discussed. The results showed that the catalytic activity and stability of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst was better than those of other catalysts with the highest CH4 conversion, H2/CO and H2/COx ratio at 750 ℃. The catalyst showed a little deactivation along the reaction time during its 72 h on stream with the mean deactivation rate of 0.08%/h. The catalytic performance of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst was also affected by reaction temperature, no2 : nCH4 molar ratio and nH2O : nCH4 molar ratio. TPR, XRD and XPS measurements indicated that the formation of ZrO2-CeO2 solid solution could improve the dispersion of NiO, and inhibit the formation of NiAl2O3, and thus significantly promoted the catalytic activity of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst.  相似文献

Rare-earth (La, Ce, Yb) promoted Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by impregnation method. Activity and carbon formation resistance of the prepared catalysts were evaluated under various reaction conditions. Catalyst characterizations with TG, TPR and H2 chemisorption were carried out to investigate the promoting mechanism. Experimental results show that rare-earth promoters, especially Yb promoter, obviously improve the activity and carbon formation resistance of Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalyst, and Yb-Ni catalyst shows even higher performance than several commercial catalysts. According to the characterization results, Yb promoter enhances the interaction between the active metal and support, thus increasing the active metal’s dispersion and improving its performance. Furthermore, the obvious difference in diesel conversion between Yb-Ni catalyst and others was shown in the temperature range of 450-550 °C, which would be the reason for its excellent carbon resistance.  相似文献

MgO-modified Ni/Al2O3 catalysts with different Ni loadings were prepared and employed in dry reforming of methane (DRM). The effect of Ni loadings on the activity and coke formation of Ni/MgO-A1203 catalysts were investigated. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, SEM, TPO and TPR techniques. The obtained results showed that increasing nickel loading decreased the BET surface area and increased the catalytic activity and amount of deposited carbon. In addition, the effect of gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) and feed ratio were studied.  相似文献

Auto-thermal reforming of methane, combining partial oxidation and reforming of methane with CO2 or steam, was carried out with Pt/Al2O3, Pt/ZrO2 and Pt/CeO2 catalysts, in a temperature range of 300-900℃. The auto-thermal reforming occurs in two simultaneous stages, namely, total combustion of methane and reforming of the unconverted methane with steam and CO2, with the O2 conversion of 100% starting from 450 ℃. For combination with CO2 reforming, the Pt/CeO2 catalyst showed the lowest initial activity at 800 ℃, and the highest stability over 40 h on-stream. This catalyst also presented the best performance for the reaction with steam at 800 ℃. The higher resistance to coke formation of the catalyst supported on ceria is due to the metal-support interactions and the higher mobility of oxygen in the oxide lattice.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of nanostructured low percent (1%) Co-Ni catalysts on the basis of glass fiber (GF) prepared by a"solution combustion" (SC) method was studied. The catalytic activity of the prepared samples was studied in the reaction of dry reforming of methane (DRM) with CO2.The obtained samples were characterized by a number of physico-chemical methods, including XRD,SEM,TEM,TGA and AFM.The active component was shown to be dispersed in the near-surface layer of the support as nanoparticles of 10—20 nm in size. The active component showed a Co3O4 or(Co,Ni)Co2O4 spinel structure, depending on the catalyst composition. The spinel structure of the active component interacted strongly with the carrier, providing resistance to carbonization, high catalytic activity toward DRM,and high activity and stability in oxidation reactions.  相似文献

The Ni/CeO2-ZrO2-A12O3 catalyst with different A12O3 and NiO contents were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method. The catalytic performance for CO2 reforming of CH4 reaction, the interaction among components and the relation between Ni content and catalyst surface basicity were investigated. Results show that the interaction between NiO and A12O3 is stronger than that between NiO and CeO2-ZrO2. The addition of A12O3 can prevent the formation of large metallic Ni ensembles, increase the dispersion of Ni, and improve catalytic activity, but excess A12O3 causes the catalyst to deactivate easily. The interaction between NiO and CeO2 results in more facile reduction of surface CeO2. The existence of a small amount of metallic Ni can increase the number of basic sites. As metallic Ni may preferentially reside on the strong basic sites, increasing Ni content can weaken the catalyst basicity.  相似文献

Trace amounts of noble metal-doped Ni/Mg(Al)O catalysts were prepared starting from Mg-Al hydrotalcites (HTs) and tested in daily start-up and shut-down (DSS) operation of steam reforming (SR) of methane or partial oxidation (PO) of propane. Although Ni/Mg(Al)O catalysts prepared from Mg(Ni)-Al HT exhibited high and stable activity in stationary SR, PO and dry reforming of methane and propane, the Ni/Mg(Al)O catalysts were drastically deactivated due to Ni oxidation by steam as purge gas when they were applied in DSS SR ofmethane. Such deactivation was effectively suppressed by doping trace amounts of noble metal on the catalysts by using a “memory effect” of HTs. Moreover, the noble metal-doped Ni/Mg(Al)O catalysts exhibited “intelligent” catalytic behaviors, i.e., self-activation and self-regenerative activity, leading to high and sustainable activity during DSS operation. Pt was the most effective among noble metals tested. The self-activation occurred by the reduction of Ni2+ in Mg(Ni,Al)O periclase to Ni0 assisted by hydrogen spillover from Pt (or Pt-Ni alloy). The self-regenerative activity was accomplished by self-redispersion of active Ni0 particles due to a reversible reductionoxidation movement of Ni between the outside and the inside of the Mg(Al)O periclase crystal; surface Ni0 was oxidized to Ni2+ by steam and incorporated into Mg(Ni2+,Al)O periclase, whereas the Ni2+ in the periclase was reduced to Ni0 by the hydrogen spillover and appeared as the fine Ni0 particles on the catalyst surface. Further a “green” preparation of the Pt/Ni/[Mg3.5Al]O catalysts was accomplished starting from commercial Mg3.5-Al HT by calcination, followed by sequential impregnation of Ni and Pt.  相似文献

Several supported Pd catalysts were prepared and their catalytic activity for selective oxidation of hydrogen was studied. The results show that the variety of the supports has great effect on the catalytic activity. The space velocity and the Pd loading show also certain influence. The most active catalyst Pd/C A can selectively remove H 2 at 170~200℃ and 1?800 h -1 from a feed gas consisting of H 2 (0 197%), O 2 (0 103%), CO (40%) and N 2 (balance). When CO content in the feed gas increases to 78%, the activity of the catalyst only decreases a little, indicating that the results obtained here seems applicable to the removal of H 2 from pure CO.  相似文献

Nickel molybdenum carbide catalysts were prepared and their activities in the CO2 reforming of methane at a low CO2/CH4 reactant ratio were investigated using a microreactor at atmospheric pressure and at 973 K.The effect of the catalyst preparation method and the Ni/Mo ratio on the increase in catalyst life and the promotion of catalytic activity were investigated using N2 adsorption,X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed carburization,temperature-programmed reaction, and a reforming reaction. The 25Ni75Mo catalyst that was carburized at 813 K exhibited the highest hydrogen formation ability and gave the least carbon deposition. The incomplete carburization of the Mo oxide species in the catalyst that was carburized at a lower temperature gradually gave a more active carburized species. The NiMoOxCy in the catalyst was more active in hydrogen formation during the dry reforming of methane whileβ-Mo2C andη-Mo3C2 were less active.  相似文献

In this work the effects of the contents of nickel(5,7.5,10 wt%)and copper(0,1,2 wt%)and reaction temperature(650,700,750°C)on the catalytic performance of Ni–Cu/Al_2O_3catalyst in methane dry reforming were evaluated using Box–Behnken design in order to optimize methane conversion,H_2/CO ratio and the catalyst deactivation.Different catalysts were prepared by co-impregnation method and characterized by XRD,BET,H_2-TPR,FESEM and TG/DTA analyses. The results revealed that copper addition improved the catalyst reducibility.Promoted catalyst with low amounts of Cu gave higher activity and stability with high resistance to coke deposition and agglomeration of active phase especially during the reaction. However catalysts with high amounts of Cu were less active and rather deactivated due to the active sites sintering as well as Ni covering by Cu-enriched phase. The optimal conditions were determined by desirability function approach as 10 wt%of Ni,0.83 wt%of Cu at 750°C.CH_4conversion of95.1%,H_2/CO ratio of 1 and deactivation of 1.4%were obtained experimentally under optimum conditions, which were in close agreement with the values predicted by the developed model.  相似文献

Pt-CeO2-ZrO2/MgO (Pt-CZ/MgO) catalysts with 0.8 wt% Pt, 3.0 wt% CeO2 and 3.0 wt% ZrO2 were prepared by wet impregnation method. Support MgO was obtained using ion exchange resin method or using commercial MgO. XRD, BET, SEM, TEM, DTA-TG and CO2-TPD were used to characterize the catalysts. CH4-CO2 reforming to synthesis gas (syngas) was performed to test the catalytic behavior of the catalysts. The catalyst Pt-CZ/MgO-IE(D) prepared using ion exchange resin exhibits more regular structure, smaller and more unique particle sizes, and stronger basicity than the catalyst Pt-CZ/MgO prepared from commercial MgO. At 1073 K and atmospheric pressure, Pt-CZ/MgO-IE(D) catalyst has a higher activity and greater stability than Pt-CZ/MgO catalyst for CH4-CO2 reforming reaction at high gas hourly space velocity of 36000 mL/(g·h) with a stoichiometric feed of CH4 and CO2. Activity measurement and characterization results demonstrate that modification of the support using ion exchange resin method can promote the surface structural property and stability, therefore enhancing the activity and stability for CH4-CO2 reforming reaction.  相似文献
