We describe a Talbot interferometer for measuring a vibrating phase object. The time-average fringes are moiré patterns modulated by the zeroth-order Bessel function. They provide information about the tilt at every point of a vibrating plate, for example. The Talbot interferometer is robust (common path) and cheap (printers grids as beam-splitters). The experiments can be performed with laser illumination or with a collimated beam of white light. Some experimental results are shown.  相似文献

Laser diodes have the features of a single-mode operation and a frequency tunability. Holographic interferometry is described for investigating the vibrating amplitude and phase with a frequency-modulated laser diode. Sinusoidal wavelength change by varying laser injection current produces the sinusoidal phase modulation of relative phase difference between the reference and vibrating object paths. Holograms are made by time-average exposure of three-type recording modes with a laser diode. The phase of vibrating object is extracted from the measurements of Bessel-type fringe irradiances in three kinds of time-average holographic reconstruction. Experimental results of phase and amplitude for a vibrating cantilever object are shown.  相似文献

提出了一种用于振动物体表面快速测量的光学测试系统和方法。该系统采用结构光三维传感技术,利用时间平均法来实现对振动表面的测量和振动模式分析。用低帧频商用CCD相机记录由光栅投影到振动物体表面上形成的一系列变形正弦条纹,对获取的一帧变形条纹经过二维傅里叶变换、频谱滤波、逆傅里叶变换等处理得到调制物体振幅的零级贝塞尔函数分布。给出了该方法的理论分析,推导了相应的计算公式。计算机模拟和实验验证了该方法的可行性。实验证明,该方法具有数据获取速度快,全场非接触测量以及实验装置简单等优点。  相似文献

Time-averaged laser speckle correlation is used for flexural vibration-studies. The proposed method employs a diverging laser beam to illuminate the test object and records the object image at a defocused plane with a CCD camera. The speckle correlation coefficient is a function of the out-of-plane tilt of the object. The time-averaged speckle pattern recorded with the object vibrating at a natural mode is subtracted from the one recorded in a static condition. The anti-nodes of the vibrating object can then be identified easily on the subtracted image. A brief analysis of the technique and some experimental results on a cantilever beam and a vibrating plate are presented.  相似文献

Lensless in-line digital holographic interferometry has the potential for vibration analysis of objects smaller than 5 mm in diameter. This is particularly useful for dynamic characterization of microelectromechanical systems devices. To achieve this, there is a need to magnify the object wave, which is done using a diverging beam. It is observed that an increase in the object-to-CCD distance increases the sensitivity of the amplitude-modulated time-average fringes. At the same time the effect on phase information that represents the mean static deformation of a vibrating object is studied. It is also observed that a reduction in the object-to-CCD distance increases the phase sensitivity as evidenced by the double-exposure time-average fringes. The experimental observation and a theoretical explanation for this contradictory phenomenon are presented.  相似文献

结构光投影和条纹时间平均分析技术已被用于振动模式分析中,但由于投影单色正弦条纹时振动薄膜变形条纹傅里叶谱中零频涵盖范围较大,会限制滤波窗的选取范围,从而影响模式的最终重建结果。为提高振动模式重建的准确性,提出了一种利用π相移正弦条纹投影进行薄膜振动模式分析和振幅重建的方法,通过处理两个通道的条纹分量达到消除零频的目的。给出了该方法的理论分析,完成了相应的计算机模拟,分析了影响测量精度的因素。通过与投影单色正弦条纹的振动模式重建结果对比,表明该方法有较高的重建精度。不同激励频率下的实际薄膜振动实验结果也证明了该方法正确可行。  相似文献

In this paper, we have demonstrated experimentally the vibration analysis of a reflecting object in a time-averaged mode using Lau phase interferometry. Experimental results provide information about the tilt at every point of a vibrating plate. The Lau phase interferometry is robust and simple. A new method is proposed for the determination of the in-plane displacement components of bodies subjected to cyclic loading. The recording on a photographic film is done statically, with exposure times longer than the period of vibration (time-average). A grating printed on the body surface is perturbed by the motion and the displacements are analyzed by photographing the grating lines. For relatively small amplitudes of vibration an alternative technique is proposed requiring the use of a master. Fringes are then photographed directly. In this case it is convenient to use a carrier which can be obtained by rotation of the master over the surface of the vibrating body. It is proposed to use Fourier filtering to convert frequency variation moiré fringes to the conventional intensity variation fringes. The application of the method is illustrated with the determination of u and ν components of displacement in a ring and in a disk subjected to cyclic diametral compression. As do other time-averaged methods, the proposed method has the advantage of permitting the static study of vibration phenomena.  相似文献

If a line grating is observed via the reflective surface of a periodically vibrating object during one or more periods of its motion, an interference effect comes into existence. The interference fringes represent the slope contours of the object relative to the extreme deformation state. This principle was developed for vibration analysis of plates. It is also applicable for slope measurement of vibrating shells. The slope values again can be deduced from the arising interference effect. This interpretation is described.  相似文献

Real-time laser speckle shearography coupled with vibration stressing is shown to be an effective means of vibration analysis and non-destructive testing. The shearograms are modulated by a system of live fringes. These fringes are shown to be described by the zeroth-order Bessel function of the first kind and their visibility decreases with increasing fringe order. In vibration analysis, the instantaneous fringe pattern depicts the out-of-plane surface displacement gradient of the object surface at various resonance modes. In non-destructive testing, the flaw depth in a component can be determined without having to determine fringe orders. There is good agreement between the results obtained using the method and those from theory and time-average holography. A major advantage of real-time shearography is its facility for continuous assessment of a vibrating object without the need for secondary shearogram reconstruction.  相似文献

The polarization properties of the volume gratings in photorefractive B12SiO20 crystals permit to increase the contrast and signal to noise ratio in the image plane of a large size vibrating object structure. The experiment is based on the nearly degenerate two wave mixing of a pump beam with a low intensity signal beam due to the object structure (moving grating recording with an externally applied field in the 110 crystallographic direction). For a correct orientation of the incident recording beam polarizations, the pump beam emerging from the crystal is linearly polarized, while the signal, after two beam coupling is elliptically polarized. The selective attenuation of the direct pump and scattered beams is obtained with a polarizer. Improved contrasts in the interferogram plane of the vibrating object are demonstrated.  相似文献

当用波长为λ的单色平行光垂直照射到光栅常数d<λ的亚波长周期结构衍射物时,会产生隐失波。由于快速衰减,这种亚波长周期物是不能成像的。但是,通过对亚波长周期结构物进行适当的编码后可得到均匀波,使这种携带了隐失波信息的均匀波通过经特别设计的光学系统并被放大到CCD所能识别的像素大小后,再进行必要的解码以滤掉编码波,即可得到原亚波长周期结构衍射物的像,最终达到超分辨的目的。基于这种新颖的成像技术,用常规仪器就实现了对亚波长周期结构物的成像。在运用光子学方法对实验和成像过程进行较为详尽的理论分析的同时,对编码器、解码器的位置以及它们相对物光栅的取向给出了设计性研究,对滤波器的选择给予了必要的说明。实验结果验证了该设计理论的正确性。  相似文献

In this study a modified method of Talbot interferometry is developed to evaluate the curvature of an object. The tilt angle of moiré fringe formed by two gratings is related to the wavelength, the grating periods, the angle between these two gratings, and the object curvature. Therefore, substituting the known experimental parameters into a special derived equation the object curvature can be evaluated. In order to show the validity of this method, stainless steel balls with curvatures of 1.326 and 1.261 mm−1 were measured. The measurement resolution of curvature was about 3.729 × 10−3 mm−1. It is shown that this method is suitable for both transmission and opaque objects with high accuracy.  相似文献

The use of sandwich hologram interferometry makes it possible to investigate objects of interest to an engineer that is was not possible to investigate before. The paper presents the sandwich technique as well as some different applications of the technique. Static deformation of a milling machine and a dynamic study on a vibrating hand-drill are included. Another application is a study of a test object one metre in length, where the object was removed from the holographic set-up between exposures and holes were drilled in one wall of the object. The deformation around the drilled holes could be studied, after that a second recording of the object repositioned in the holographic set-up was performed. Finally it is shown how an in-plane rigid body motion of 1 mm could be compensated for, and a tilt of 1.5 × 10-3 degrees of a special test object evaluated in spite of the large translation motion.  相似文献

We propose a method of tuning resonant wavelengths in the fabrication process of a long-period fiber grating using an amplitude mask tilted relative to the fiber. We irradiated a hydrogenated single-mode fiber with a KrF excimer laser through a tilted amplitude mask with a grating period of 460 Μm. Growth of resonant loss peaks in transmission spectra was measured for various tilt angles. A tuning range up to 329 nm was obtained by tilting up to 45°. The measured results agreed with numerical simulation. It was shown that using only an amplitude mask it is possible to fabricate a long-period fiber grating having resonance at any wavelength throughout the range of 1.2-1.6 Μm. A method to determine the tilt angle for a designed wavelength is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we present an electronic speckle pattern shearing interferometer using a photopolymer diffractive optical element in the form of a holographic grating, in combination with a ground glass to shear the images. The sheared images on the ground glass are further imaged onto a CCD camera. The distance between the grating and the ground glass can be used to control the shear and to vary the sensitivity of the system. The direction of sensitivity is easily controlled by rotation of the diffraction grating around its normal.Introducing photopolymer holographic gratings in ESPSI gives the advantage of using high aperture optical elements at relatively low cost. The fact that the diffractive optical element is a photopolymer layer on glass substrate with thickness of 2 mm makes for a compact optical system.The system was successfully used for detection of the resonant frequencies of a vibrating object.Most of the published work on vibration analysis is analytical. Very few experimental results are available in the literature. The well known laser Doppler vibrometers (LDV) and accelerometers used for modal analysis are pointwise measurement techniques, although multipoint LDV is available at significant cost.Electronic speckle pattern techniques suitable for experimental detection of the resonant frequencies of vibrating objects are very promising for vibration analysis because they are whole field and non-contact.A finite element model is developed for prediction of the vibration modes of the object under test. Detection of vibrational modes of aluminium diaphragm is demonstrated and compared with the theoretical model. The results obtained are very promising for future application of ESPSI systems with HOEs, for modal analysis. A significant advantage of shearography over electronic speckle pattern interferometry is that ESPSI is relatively insensitive to external disturbances. Another advantage of the proposed system is that it could be easily converted to a phase-shifting electronic speckle shearing interferometer.  相似文献

Geometric moiré fringe formation method is a classical well-established experimental technique with numerous practical applications. This paper proposes the application of time-average geometric moiré analysis for the determination of dynamic displacements of the lithographic press rubber roller. This optical measurement technique is a natural extension of double-exposure geometric moiré for the identification of dynamic displacements of vibrating elastic structures. Experimental investigations prove the validity and effective practical applicability of the method.  相似文献
