Non-traditional machining (NTM) processes are now being widely used to generate intricate and accurate shapes in materials, like titanium, stainless steel, high strength temperature resistant (HSTR) alloys, fiber-reinforced composites, ceramics, refractories and other difficult-to-machine alloys having higher strength, hardness, toughness and other diverse material properties. Generation of complex shapes in such materials by the traditional machining processes is experienced to be difficult. For effective utilization of the capabilities of different NTM processes, careful selection of the most suitable process for a given machining application is often required. Selection of the best suited NTM process for a work material and shape feature combination requires the consideration of several criteria. In this paper, an analytic network process (ANP)-based approach is proposed to select the most appropriate NTM process for a given machining application taking into account the interdependency and feedback relationships among various criteria affecting the NTM process selection decision. To avoid the difficult and time consuming mathematical calculations of the ANP, a computer program is also developed in Visual Basic 6.0 with graphical user interface to automate the entire NTM selection decision process. It simply acts as an ANP solver. The observed results from the ANP solver are quite satisfactory and match well with those obtained by the past researchers.  相似文献

Investment in computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) is a multi-attribute problem, which includes both qualitative and quantitative factors. In order to select the best set of CIM alternatives among the competing ones it is necessary to make a trade off between the quantative and qualitative factors some of which may conflict. Selection of appropriate CIM alternatives is vital in manufacturing companies’ long-term competitiveness, and it requires development of selection models. The selection model must consider various quantative and qualitative objectives and constraints simultaneously. For example, companies have generally limited funds to invest in new advanced technology. The size of the allocated fund limits the types and number of CIM alternatives a company can select in a given time period. In this article, a combined model of the analytical hierarchy process and goal programming is proposed to consider multiple objectives and constraints simultaneously. A real-world example is provided to illustrate the application of the combined approach.  相似文献

针对现有网络性能评估方案不能兼顾用户的业务偏好和网络实际情况以及指标权重计算方法存在片面性的问题,提出一种面向网络业务性能的综合评价模型。该模型考虑到用户偏好,以网络应用业务为导向,首先建立一种评价层次结构,分别确立层次结构中的准则权重和方案权重;然后对实际测量数据进行规格化处理;最后利用模糊层次分析法(AHP)进行计算得到目标链路中各业务的性能评估值。实验结果表明,所提模型不仅可以评估目标链路的整体性能情况,还可以结合用户业务偏好,对单个的网络业务的性能进行有效评估,有利于更好地实现区分服务的网络。  相似文献

空间信息网是一种由陆海空天信息系统构成的智能化网络,针对空间信息网网络管理可扩展性方面的要求,提出一种管理域划分算法。建立基于动态分层结构的网络管理组织模型,使用层次分析法(AHP)选举管理分站,规划合理的管理区域;采用移动代理技术迁移管理分站的功能进行管理域维护,并提出包括管理域合并、分裂、切换的维护机制。仿真实验对管理域划分开销、划分时间和管理数据采集时间进行了分析,结果表明算法能有效执行空间信息网管理区域的划分。  相似文献

针对缺乏网络服务级安全态势评价方法的现状,利用事件注入技术,充分考虑影响服务可用性与性能的重要因素,确立了反映网络服务级安全态势的三级指标体系,并提出一种基于模糊层次分析法(FAHP)的网络服务级安全态势评价方法,通过求出各指标对上一级指标的权重,结合多层次综合评价方法得到模糊最大隶属度向量,从而对网络服务级安全态势进行了量化分析。实验结果表明该方法能有效屏蔽具体服务及入侵行为细节,实现对网络服务级安全态势的定性描述和定量分析。  相似文献

针对目前异构网络选择算法在确定指标权重存在主观性的问题,提出基于可拓模糊层次分析的异构无线网络选择算法。该算法在分析不同业务类型对网络性能需求的基础上,结合可拓理论,将收集到的性能参数映射到性能标度区间中,通过网络物元模型的建立和相对隶属度的计算,构建了新的判决矩阵,利用模糊层次分析法计算网络性能参数的综合权重。最后,通过对相对隶属度的加权排序,得到最优接入网络。仿真实验证明:该方法能综合考虑不同用户的业务类型和网络的客观性能,提高了异构网络中多模终端选择网络的准确性和有效性。  相似文献

In this paper, a new approach that applies the concept of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in the area of routing in communication networks is proposed. AHP is a well-known model in the area of decision making with multiple objectives. In addition, a new algorithm called Enhanced Best Effort Quality of Service Routing (QoS) with Multiple Prioritised Metrics is proposed for connection-oriented point-to-point communications. Four QoS metrics have been considered: delay, bandwidth, security and loss probability. The results presented and discussed in this paper are focussed on demonstrating the effects of metric prioritisation on the routing decisions. It is found that changing priority of a metric from 0 (the lowest priority) to 1 (the highest priority) applying the proposed algorithm improves the value of that metric by an average of (20–60)% for 90% of utilisation range.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the design of an Operations System (OS) framework for implementing a proper telecommunications network in Korea Telecom. Since several types of OS frameworks are under consideration, the telecommunication network manager should now choose the best alternative for use later in establishing the infrastructure of operations systems. The decision making is done in this paper by means of a Multi-Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) analysis. A point to be noted in the present case is that the decision relevant information such as attribute weights and values of alternatives are not known exactly. Rather, these are to be taken in the form of rankings and/or bounds. To deal with such incomplete information, we employ a mathematical programming model-based MADM approach to the choice of an optimal OS framework design. This approach enables us to check dominance of alternatives and to obtain a set of non-dominated alternatives from evaluating five alternatives in reference to Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) standards.

Scope and purpose

Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) can be stated as a globalized and unified skeleton to meet the advanced operational environments of telecommunications networks and to handle heterogeneous and complex network elements. Although there are various subjects that should be addressed to accomplish TMN, we confine our attention to dealing with one important subject, design of an Operations System (OS) framework. This is necessary to manage telecommunications resources including networks in effective manner and for use as guidance in developing individual operations systems and in constructing a network management center.Several types of OS frameworks have been suggested by TMN standards. It is hence needed to evaluate each of these OS frameworks and then to choose an appropriate one in Korean TMN situation. Since this evaluation involves multiple criteria (or attributes), it is realized in this paper by a Multi-Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) analysis approach. The decision relevant information such as trade-off weights and individual criterion values are elicited from expert opinions which, however, is rather incomplete than exact numerical values. 为提高教学质量评价准确性,提出一种基于层次分析法和神经网络相融合的教学质量评价方法(AHP-BPNN)。采用层次分析法构建评价指标体系,筛选出对评价结果有重要影响的指标作为BP神经网络输入,采用神经网络建立教学质量评价模型。仿真结果表明,AHP-BPNN不仅简化神经网络的结构,而且提高了教学质量的评价精度和评价效率,是一种可行、有效的教学质量评价方法。  相似文献

The product safety of food-waste feed is the key factor limiting the development of its industrial chain. In this paper, we construct a method based on data from the testing of food-waste feed with comprehensive evaluation of its product safety by integrating fuzzy mathematics effectively, i.e., the entropy method (EM), and the model of the analytic hierarchy (AHP) process. Furthermore, a hierarchical three-level evaluation-index system including biological-safety and chemical-safety considerations is first established via data analysis, data surveys and expert experiential investigation as well, with an actual case in China being fully applied. In addition, we apply the EM and AHP process to calculate the weights of the individual evaluation indices. Finally, through the dimensionless treatment of test data from samples, we determine the degree of membership of each test value relative to the different levels of safety using a trapezoidal membership function. By adopting the developed three-level model of fuzzy mathematics for comprehensive evaluation, we derive the safety grades of tested samples. The comprehensive evaluation method developed in this paper can effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional single-factor evaluation and offer the qualitative and quantitative advantages of expert survey and basic data research as well. As a result, it is considerably applicable for the product-safety analysis and production control of animal feed generated from food waste.  相似文献

In the past few years, due to changes in industry structure, market and the saturation of the domestic market, information service firms have started to develop the international market. Hence, to continue running their operations and maintain profitability, they should effectively control the related factors in the development of targeting a market. The purpose of this paper is to find the critical operational factors of the information service industry in developing the market and to provide a referential framework for operations in the information service industry. This research is firstly base on the business model discussed in relevant literature, using cross-case study to observe different domains for the operational strategies and critical factors of those top information service companies combined with thorough interviews with their top management executives, experts, and consultants. Finally, we concludes by proposing six elements of business model and 20 critical factors for using AHP method, and also calculates the quantitative weight of those elements and factors. 针对依据专家知识推断贝叶斯网络中条件概率表(CPT)时存在的个体推断信息缺乏完备性和精确性以及整体集成结果缺乏科学性的问题,提出了基于证据理论/层次分析法(DS/AHP)的能够从专家推断信息中提取最优条件概率的方法.首先,通过引入DS/AHP方法中的知识矩阵提出了有利于实现判断对象更直观、判断方式更完善的推断信息提取机制;其次,在此基础上遵循由前至后的推断顺序提出了贝叶斯网络的构建过程;最后,应用传统方法与提出方法对同一贝叶斯网络中的缺失条件概率表进行了推断.数值对比分析表明,所提方法能够在提高计算效率的同时将累计总偏差降低41%,验证了所提方法的科学有效性和应用可行性.  相似文献

Facility relocation has a long‐term impact on business competitiveness in terms of cost efficiency, service level, and accessibility to marketplace. This paper investigates the impacts of relocating a company's logistics facility. Specifically, a case study of a logistics service provider for a bank, whose services include cash pick‐up and deliveries, and ATM refill, is conducted. Some of the major logistics issues caused by the relocation of the company's distribution center are identified through process observation and in‐depth interview. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is implemented to evaluate and rank the importance of the logistics issues according to the needs and requirements of the company's policy makers. Four criteria considered in the AHP include cost, responsiveness, reliability, and utilization. Results show that, from the company's perspective, the development of logistics key performance indices is given the highest priority, followed by improvement of internal process, vehicle routing, network design, and inventory management, respectively.  相似文献

Numerous companies are expecting their knowledge management (KM) to be performed effectively in order to leverage and transform the knowledge into competitive advantages. However, here raises a critical issue of how companies can better evaluate and select a favorable KM strategy prior to a successful KM implementation. The KM strategy selection is a kind of multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem, which requires considering a large number of complex factors as multiple evaluation criteria. A robust MCDM method should consider the interactions among criteria. The analytic network process (ANP) is a relatively new MCDM method which can deal with all kinds of interactions systematically. Moreover, the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) not only can convert the relations between cause and effect of criteria into a visual structural model, but also can be used as a way to handle the inner dependences within a set of criteria. Hence, this paper proposes an effective solution based on a combined ANP and DEMATEL approach to help companies that need to evaluate and select KM strategies. Following deregulation of the mobile phones market and liberalization of the telecommunications sector, the service sector for mobile phones is becoming increasingly saturated. Telecom operators are confronted with a sluggish user growth rate and a fall in the average revenue per user (ARPU). Mobile value-added services are expected to form mobile operators' strategy to make up for the dwindling revenues obtained from users. The purpose of this study is to provide an analytical tool to select the best mobile value-added service firm providing the most customer satisfaction. This study adopts a fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, using an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate the performance of mobile value-added services system operators. This method can help consumers select the appropriate firm from the other consumers' opinions, and can help telecom operators to understand the market status of mobile value-added services as well as the prevailing consumer patterns.  相似文献

针对大型城市社区的消防安全预控管理问题,分析了国内外消防安全评估的研究现状,提出了一个基于贝叶斯网络的消防安全评估模型,并结合层次分析法对消防安全进行定量评估。该模型利用贝叶斯网络推理反映评估指标之间的条件相关关系,运用层次分析法确定指标权重,有利于提高大型城市社区消防安全评估的客观性、准确性、全面性及智能性,进而改善城市社区消防安全预控管理的预测能力和服务效率,且实验结果证明了该模型的有效性和实用性。  相似文献
