Highly efficient Sr2Si5N8:Eu^2+red emitting phosphor was successfully synthesized by a cost-effective direct silicon nitrida-tion and gas-reduction method. The effects of synthesis parameters, including reaction temperature, heating rate and gas species, on the crystal structure and photoluminescence of the prepared phosphors were studied. Single-phase Sr2Si5N8:Eu^2+phosphor was ob-tained at 1500℃ with a heating rate of 300℃/h under NH3-1 vol.%CH4 atmosphere using starting silicon and oxide powders. Silicon powder and high heating rate favored the achievement of the pure Sr2Si5N8 phase. Under near-UV to blue light excitation, the obtained Sr2Si5N8:Eu2+phosphor showed a board red emission band centered at about 625 nm, which agreed well with the phosphors prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction. The possible reaction mechanism was also proposed based on the experimental observations.  相似文献

Eu3+ activated Ca4Yt(SiO4)60 phosphors were prepared by combustion synthesis method, and their morphologies and lu- minescent properties were investigated. Field scanning electron microscopy (FSEM) confirmed that the crystallite sizes of nanoparti- cles with narrow diameter ranging from 30 to 60 rim. The excitation spectra of CaaY6(SiO4)60:Etl3+ showed that there existed two strong excitation bands at around 399 nm (TFo----~SL6) and 469 nm (TF0---*SD2), which were consistent with the output wavelengths of near-UV and blue LEDs, respectively. The emission spectra of Ca4Y6(SiO4)60:Eu3+ were dominant by a red peak located at 614 nm due to the 5Do→7TF2 transition of Eu3+. With the increase of Eu3+concentration, the luminescence intensity of the red phosphor reached maximum and then decreased. The optimum concentration for Eug+in Ca4Y6(SiO4)60 was 21 mol.%.  相似文献

Calcium magnesium chlorosilicate doped by europium, Ca8Mg(SiO4)4Cl2: Eu^2+, was prepared by the solid state reaction at high temperature. The compound obtained is pure Ca8Mg(SiO4)4Cl2 phase with cubic structure. Its average particle size is 5 μm, and it has good dispersity and morphological form. The excitation spectrum of Ca8Mg(SiO4)4Cl2: Eu^2+ is a wide band, which covers from 270 to 480 nm. The emission spectrum is also a wide band peaked at 510 nm. The luminescent intensity reaches to the maximum when the concentration of Eu^2 + is 2%. The wavelength of emission and excitation of the phosphor with various Eu^2 + contents keeps constant. This spectrum range matches violet and blue LED chips very well, and its strong luminescence intensity is suitable for a green phosphor of tricolor phosphor of white light LED.  相似文献

Luminescent material Ba3Gd(BO3)3 doped with Eu3+ ion was prepared by high temperature solid-state method. The preparing conditions, luminescent properties, and particle morphology of Ba3Gd(BO3)3:Eu3 + phosphor were studied with X-ray diffraction (XRD), fluorescence spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results obtained by XRD showed that pure phase of Ba3Gd(BO3)3 was obtained at 1000℃. Images from SEM displayed that the particles of Ba3Gd(BO3)3:Eu3+ phosphor had a spherical shape with an average diameter of about 200-400 nm. The luminescence spectra showed that Ba3Gd(BO3)3:Eu3+ phosphor was effectively excited by the near ultraviolet (UV) light (396 nm) and blue light (466 nm). The main emission peaks of Ba3Gd(BO3)3:Eu3+ phosphor were assigned to the supersensitive transition 5D0-7F2 (611 and 616 nm) of Eu3+ ion when samples were excited at 255 and 396 nm, respectively, and the luminescent intensity of Ba3Gd(BO3)3:Eu3+ at 611 and 616 nm reached to the maximum when the doped content of Eu3+ ion was 10mol.%. Therefore, this phosphor could be a promising red component for possible applications in the field of white LED.  相似文献

Eu2+ and (or) Eu3+ doped Sr2SiO4 phosphors particles were synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction technique, and their structural and optical properties were investigated. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that the obtained phosphors were composed of orthorhombic α'-Sr2SiO4 and monoclinic β-Sr2SiO4 phase. When excited under 256 nm, Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ phosphors showed intense emission in the red region. Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ phosphors exhibited white emissions (x=0.30, y=0.40, TC=6500 K) ranging from 425 to 650 nm when it was excited by near-ultraviolet (near-UV) light, indicating that Sr2SiO4:Eu2+ was a good light-conversion phosphor candidate for near-UV chip.  相似文献

A series of novel blue long-lasting phosphorescence phosphors Sr6A118Si2037:Eu^2+,RE^3+ (RE3+=Ho^3+, Gd^3+, Dy^3+ and Pr^3+) were prepared by the conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction in a reductive atmosphere. Their properties were systemati- cally investigated utilizing X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence, phosphorescence and thermoluminescence (TL) spectra. The phosphors emitted blue light that was related to the emission of E~+ due to 5d-4f transition. Bright blue long-lasting phosphorescence (LLP) could be observed after the excitation source was switched off. For the optimized sample, the blue long-lasting phosphores- cence could last for nearly 4 h in the light perception of the dark-adapted human eye (0.32 mcd/m2). The effects of RE3+ ions on phosphorescence properties of the phosphors were studied, and the results showed that the co-doping of RE^3+ ions greatly enhanced the intensity of the peak around 315 K which was related to the long lasting phosphorescence of the phosphors at room temperature and consequently improved the performance of the blue phosphorescence such as intensity and persistent time.  相似文献

Eu2+ and Dy3+ codoped(Ca,Sr)7(SiO3)6Cl2 yellow phosphors were successfully synthesized by self-flux method. The structure, morphology and photoluminescence properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and photoluminescence spectra. The as-prepared phosphor showed a broad emission spectrum centered at 550 nm for Eu2+single-doped phosphor, while located at 548–544 nm for the Eu2+, Dy3+ codoped samples under excitation at 380 nm light. The emission intensity was greatly improved when Dy3+ was doped into the(Ca,Sr)7(SiO3)6Cl2:Eu2+ system. The composition-optimized sample with 3 mol.% of Dy3+ and constant 10 mol.% of Eu2+ exhibited a 220% PL enhancement compared to the phosphor with 10 mol.% Eu2+ single-doped. Meanwhile, it was found that the quantum efficiency of phosphor namely(Ca,Sr)7(SiO3)6Cl2:3 mol.% Dy3+, 10 mol.% Eu2+ could get up to 24.6%. The synthesized yellow-emitting(Ca,Sr)7(SiO3)6Cl2:Dy3+,Eu2+ is a promising candidate as high-efficiency yellow phosphor for NUV-excited white LEDs.  相似文献

Green emitting Eu2+-doped (Ba3_xSrx)Si6012N2 solid solutions were synthesized through solid state reaction at 1350 ℃ for 10 h under a N2/H2 atmosphere. The XRD patterns revealed that the solid solution series of (Ba3 x-ySrx)Si6Ol2N2:yEu2+ with x value ranging from 0-0.6 were established. An efficient and intense tunable green light was observed by varying the cation Sr/Ba ratio. The emission spectra exhibited an entire shift towards long wavelength with increasing ofx value, which was caused by large crystal field splitting and Stokes shift. The x value dependence of emission intensity was discovered and explained by the enhanced probability of electron from excited 4f state to 5d ground state via nonradioactive transition. Highly thermal stability and feasible color coordinates were verified. White LEDs with excellent photochromic properties were fabricated by packing GaN based blue chips and (Ba Sr)3Si6012N2:Eu2+ phosphors. All results indicated that the (Ba3_xSrx)SirO12N2:Eu2+ phosphors were confirmed to be a promising candidate for pc-white LEDs in solid state lighting.  相似文献

Luminescence properties of nitride red phosphor for LED   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
Eu^2+-doped ternary nitride phosphor, Sr2Si5N8:Eu^2+, was synthesized using the high temperature solid-state method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern showed that Sr2Si5N8 single phase was obtained. The lattice parameters shrank because the radius of Eu^2+ was smaller than that of Sr^2+. The emission spectra showed a broad emission band. With an increase in Eu^2+ concentration, the emission peak position was redshifted. The excitation spectra showed two excitation bands originating from the host and the 4f^7→4f^6 5d^1 transition of Eu^2+ ions Compared with the luminescent characteristic of Sr2Si5N8:Eu^2+ and CaS:Eu^2+ phosphors, at different temperatures, it was noted that the intensity of the two phosphors reduced gradually with an increase in temperature. The intensity of Sr2Si5N8:Eu^2+ phosphor was stronger than that of CaS:Eu^2+, which indicated that the luminescent characteristic of the former was better than that of the latter.  相似文献

Green-emitting Sr2LiSiO4F:Eu2+ and blue-emitting Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+ phosphors were synthesized by the conventional high temperature solid-state route, respectively.Their structures and photoluminescenee properties were comparatively investigated. It was found that the mixture phases of Sr2MgSi2O7 and SrF2 were obtained when a part of Sr2+ in Sr2LiSiO4F was replaced by some amount of Mg2+ in order to design the possible SrMgLiSiO4F:Eu2+ phosphor.Based on the photoluminescence analysis,Sr2LiSiO4F:Eu2+ phosphor exhibited a green broad emission band of main peak at 513 nm under the excitation of 365 nm,while the Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+ and SrMgLiSiO4F:Eu2+ phosphor showed blue emission centered at 467 nm.The temperature dependent photoluminescence properties and room temperature decay time for the three kinds of phosphors were also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

A new convenient calcium cyanamide (CaCN2) reduction route was developed to synthesize the Eu2 activated Ca-α-SiAlON phosphors containing low oxygen content. The luminescence properties of the obtained products were investigated for white LEDs application. The critical Eu2 concentration in various hosts and its effect on the photoluminescence properties were studied. The optimized sample (10at.% Eu2 vs. Ca2 ) could be efficiently excited by the current GaN/InGaN blue LED chips and provided emission intensity competitive with that of YAG:Ce3 (P46-Y3) standard, revealing that this phosphor was a potential candidate for phosphor-converted white LEDs.  相似文献

Europium doped MBrCl (M=Ca, Sr, and Ba) phosphors were prepared by solid state reaction in reductive atmosphere. Photolu-minescence (PL), photostimulated luminescence (PSL) after X-ray irradiation and optical absorption studies of MBrCl:Eu2+ (M=Ca, Sr, and Ba) revealed that: (1) blue light emission, under the excitation of 300 nm, was observed in all these phosphors; (2) the shape of the emission spectra in CaBrCl:Eu2+ could be changed by varying the bromine/chlorine ratio during synthesis, while that in SrBrCl:Eu2+ and BaBrCl:Eu2+ showed no change; and (3) PSL was observed in SrBrCl:Eu2+ and BaBrCI:Eu2+ after X-ray irradiation. Difference absorption spectrum (DAS) in SrBrCl:Eu2+ showed two broad bands centered at about 470 and 570 nm, and DAS in BaBrCI:Eu2+ showed two bands at about 550 and 675 nm, respectively. This enabled the use of He-Ne laser (633 nm) or even semiconductor light-emitting diodes (LED) instead of gas lasers for photostimulation.  相似文献

Mn2+doped LuAG phosphors with different contents of Si4+ions were synthesized via the solid-state reaction method and the effects of Si4+doping on the crystal structure and luminescence properties of phosphors were studied.XRD patterns of all phosphors exhibit a pure phase but with different extents of deviations.Owing to the 4 T1→6 A1 transition of Mn2+,the LuAG:Mn2+,Si4+phosphors exhibit a broad emission band with an emission peak at 582 nm.Moreover, the introduction of Si4+not only improves the emission intensity but also induces a red-shift with the emission peak from 582 to 612 nm and the spectra broadening with the full width at half maximum value from 64 to 74 nm,which results from the decrease of bond length between O2-anions and Mn2+cations and the re-absorption of Mn2+-Mn2+pairs.Suitable content of Si4+replacement can weaken thermal quenching of Mn2+.Thus,via regulating the content of Si,the Mn2+,Si4+co-doped LuAG phosphor with low correlated color temperature is a candidate for warm wLEDs.  相似文献

The efficient Eu2+ -doped Ba3 Si6O12N2 green phosphors were prepared by a traditional solid state reaction method under N2 /H2 atmosphere at a temperature up to 1350 oC for 12h. Photoluminescence (PL) properties showed a broad emission band with a peak of 525 nm and the full width of half-emission maximums (FWHM) of 70 nm under 460 nm light irradiation. The X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of the synthesized powder demonstrated its pure phase and excellent crystallization. Quenching concentration in this phosphor was found to be 0.3. The mechanisms of concentration quenching and redshift of emission peak with increasing concentration of Eu2+ were studied. The temperature dependence measurement of this green phosphor revealed excellent thermal quenching property compared to silicate green phosphor. It is believed that Ba3 Si6O12N2 :Eu2+ is an excellent green phosphor for UV or blue chip based white LEDs.  相似文献

Ca8Mg(SiO4)4Cl2:Eu2 phosphor doped with Sr2 cation for Ca2 partially, was synthesized by solid-state reaction at high temperature under reducing atmosphere, and its luminescent properties were investigated. The experimental results indicate that the emission intensity of the phosphor increases after being doped with a few amount of Sr2 ion. The emission peak of the phosphor blue shift to about 464 nm when the phosphor is doped with large quantity of Sr2 ions. The excitation spectrum indicates that the phosphor can be well excited by UV and blue light from 300 to 460 nm, and the phosphor was fitted well for the excitation by UV or blue-LED.  相似文献
