一类Clifford半群的幂半群

Let S =∪（Gα ： α ∈ E） be a semilattice of groups（i.e., a Cliford semigroup） and n a natural number. E is called an n-element chain of groups if it is an n-element chain. Denote by Cn the set of all n-element chains of groups. In this paper we shall show that for any natural number n, the class of semigroups Cn satisfies the strong isomorphism property.

我们首先证明，若S^*,S^o是正则半群S的两个纯正断面，σ^*,σ^o分别是S^*,S^o上的最小逆半群同余，则商半群S^*/σ^o同构。作为上述结论的一个推论，重新获得：含逆断面的正则半群的所有逆断面均同构。关于富足半群我们证明了：满足正则性条件的富足半群若含有似理想恰当断面，则其所有拟理想恰当断面均同构。

Isometric Equivalence of Certain Operators on Banach Spaces

A pair of operators on a Banach space X are isometrically equivalent if they are intertwined by a surjective isometry of X. We investigate the isometric equivalence problem for pairs of operators on specific types of Banach spaces. We study weighted shifts on symmetric sequence spaces, elementary operators acting on an ideal I of Hilbert space operators, and composition operators on the Bloch space. This last case requires an extension of known results about surjective isometries of the Bloch space.     

Complete Continuity for a Class of Banach Algebras

For quotiens of group algebras, we stady elements such that the multiplication by these elements generates a compact (left or right) multiplication operator. The spectrum of such an algebra is analyzed in the case where all such (left or right) multiplication operators are weakly compact. Bibliography: 33 titles.     

Universal Objects in Some Classes of Clifford Topological Inverse Semigroups

We construct universal objects in various classes of Clifford topological inverse semigroups. In particular, we show that each compact Abelian topological inverse semigroup with Lawson maximal semilattice embeds into a power of the cone over the circle.     

Strong Wedderburn Decompositions of Banach Algebras Containing Analytic Semigroups

We prove that if a Banach algebra contains an analytic semigroupwhich satisfies a certain growth condition then neither it norany homomorphic image of it may have a Strong Wedderburn Decomposition,in particular it must be weakly amenable.     

On a Class of Subdirect Products of Left and Right Clifford Semigroups

Abstract

Regular semigroups S with the property eS ? Se or Se ? eS for all idempotents e ∈ S include all left and right Clifford semigroups. Characterizations of such semigroups are given and their structure investigated, in particular in terms of spined products of left and right Clifford semigroups with respect to Clifford semigroups.

We show that every unital invertibility preserving linear map from a yon Neumann algebra onto a semi-simple Banach algebra is a Jordan homomorphism; this gives an affirmative answer to a problem of Kaplansky for all yon Neumann algebras. For a unital linear map Ф from a semi-simple complex Banach algebra onto another, we also show that the following statements are equivalent: (1)Ф is an homomorphism; (2) Ф is completely invertibility preserving; (3) Ф is 2-invertibility preserving.

Multipliers and Modulus on Banach Algebras Related to Locally Compact Groups

As a consequence, we obtain a characterization of operators onL^∞(G) which commute with convolutions whenGis amenable as discrete.     

On Isomorphisms Between Integral Table Algebras and Applications to Finite Groups and Association Schemes

A problem that has been open for a long time is whether an automorphism of the center of the integral group ring of a finite group permutes the class sums. As a generalization, the similar problem for integral table algebras has also been studied in a few papers. In this paper we further the investigation of the problem for integral C-algebras and table algebras. We will first present some necessary and sufficient conditions under which an algebra isomorphism between integral C-algebras is monomial, and as an application, obtain a conceptual proof of the class sum correspondence theorem of group rings of finite groups. Then we prove that an algebra isomorphism compatible with degree maps between standard integral nilpotent table algebras over the ring of algebraic integers is exact. As a direct consequence, we get Hertweck's result [6 Hertweck , M. ( 2008 ). On isomorphisms between centers of integral group rings of finite groups . Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 136 : 1539 – 1547 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] for finite nilpotent groups. An application to association schemes is also presented.     

Semisimplicity of Some Class of Operator Algebras on Banach Space

Let G be a locally compact abelian group and let be a representation of G by means of isometries on a Banach space. We define W_T as the closure with respect to the weak operator topology of the set where is the Fourier transform of f ∈L¹(G) with respect to the group T. Then W_T is a commutative Banach algebra. In this paper we study semisimlicity problem for such algebras. The main result is that if the Arveson spectrum sp(T) of T is scattered (i.e. it does not contain a nonempty perfect subset) then the algebra W_T is semisimple. Some related problems are also discussed.     

Spectral Properties of a Class of Positive Semigroups on Banach Lattices and Streaming Operators

We deal with a general streaming semigroup arising in transport theory. We show that in general such a semigroup has a direct decomposition into three simpler semigroups one of which extends to a group. A general spectral theory of them is given and is partly derived from that of a class of positive semigroups on Banach lattices.
