倒木是高寒森林生态系统重要的碳(C)库和养分库,其不同分解阶段的质量变化,是认识倒木分解过程中C和养分释放的重要基础。以一个分解序列的岷江冷杉(Abies faxoniana)倒木为研究对象,研究了心材、边材和树皮在5个分解阶段的C:N:P化学计量特征,以及木质素和纤维素含量动态。结果显示:I至III分解阶段,随着分解程度加深,树皮C含量升高,而心材和边材C含量降低,从IV分解阶段开始倒木各组分C含量均开始显著降低。除III分解阶段的心材外,倒木各组分N含量总体表现为随着分解程度加深而增加的趋势,除边材N含量在V分解阶段时显著升高外,其余组分均未达到显著性水平。心材和树皮P含量表现为先降后升的变化趋势,最小值分别出现在III和II分解阶段;边材P含量表现为随着分解程度加深而增加。在同一分解阶段,树皮相对于边材和心材均具有最低的C:N:P化学计量比,易分解比例Fm也表明树皮更易于分解。边材在I和II分解阶段的C:N:P化学计量比最高,心材在III到V分解阶段C:N:P化学计量比最高。心材C:P、树皮和边材的C:N和C:P临界值与N和P的初始值成反比。纤维素含量随着倒木分解而降低,不同分解阶段的纤维素含量表现为:心材>边材>树皮;但木质素含量随着分解程度加深而增加,表现为:树皮>边材>心材;倒木3个组分纤维素含量下降均快于木质素,此外,IV和V分解阶段的树皮木质素与纤维素比值显著增高,且一直处于较高水平。统计分析结果表明:倒木N含量显著影响不同分解阶段木质素和纤维素分解。由生态化学计量学理论推测:树皮分解前期易受N限制,整个分解阶段均易受P限制,心材和边材在整个分解阶段均易受N和P限制。  相似文献

倒木是森林生态系统的重要组成部分, 在地力维护、生物多样性保持以及碳(C)和养分循环等方面具有重要意义, 但倒木物理化学性质随其腐烂等级和径级而变化。为了深入理解腐烂等级和径级对倒木物理化学性质的影响, 该研究以典型阔叶红松林的建群种——红松(Pinus koraiensis)的倒木为研究对象, 将其每个腐烂等级(I-V)下的倒木分为4个径级(径级i ≤ 10.0 cm、径级ii 10.1-30.0 cm、径级iii 30.1-50.0 cm、径级iv >50.0 cm), 研究了不同腐烂等级、径级及两者交互作用对倒木心材和边材物理化学性质的影响。结果表明: 心材和边材具有相似的变化规律。倒木心材和边材含水率随着腐烂等级增加而增加, 而木材密度随腐烂等级和径级的增加均呈下降趋势; 边材C含量以及心材和边材的氮(N)、磷(P)含量随腐烂等级增加呈上升趋势, 心材N、P含量随径级增加呈先增加后减少的趋势; 纤维素含量随腐烂等级增加呈下降趋势, 而木质素含量呈上升趋势, 纤维素和木质素含量随径级增加没有明显变化规律。倒木含水率与C、N、P、木质素含量(除心材P含量)显著正相关, 与纤维素含量显著负相关; 木材密度与C、N、P、木质素含量显著负相关, 与纤维素含量显著正相关。由此可见, 倒木物理化学性质受不同腐烂等级和径级的影响有各自的变化规律, 且倒木的物理性质(含水率和木材密度)是影响化学含量变化的重要因素。  相似文献

亚高山森林倒木碳氮磷化学计量特征随林窗位置的变化 森林林窗对太阳辐射和降水(主要是降雨和降雪)的再分配可造成林窗内外微环境条件的异质性。本研究旨在通过改变微环境,测试林窗对倒木碳(C)、氮(N)和磷(P)化学计量比的影响。在青藏高原东部的亚高山森林中,将I–V腐解等级的岷江冷杉(Abies faxoniana)倒木分别置于林窗中心(GC)、林窗边缘(GE)和郁闭林下(CC)进行原位培养,分别于2013–2016年8月测定了腐烂树皮、边材和心材的C、N、P含量。研究结果表明,树皮N浓度从CC到GC呈下降趋势,而边材和心材则表现出相反的趋势。此外,边材和心材IV、V腐解等级的C/N从CC到GC呈下降趋势,心材V腐解等级的 N/P从CC到GC呈增加趋势,这表明森林林窗对高度腐解等级倒木的C/N/P化学计量比有强烈影响。简而言之,高度腐烂的倒木更容易受到微环境的影响,必要时应适当调整郁闭林下或林窗中心的高度腐烂的倒木比例。  相似文献

倒木分解是森林生态系统中重要的养分循环过程,倒木中的难分解物质对土壤有机质积累具有积极作用。但关于森林林窗和附生植物对倒木难分解物质含量的影响还不清晰。为了理解林窗更新及附生植物生长对倒木总酚和缩合单宁含量的影响,2013年8月在川西高山原始森林进行样地布置,在进行3年附生植物去除处理后,2016年8月在不同林窗位置(林窗、林缘和林下)下两种处理(附生植物去除和保留)不同腐解等级(I-V)进行岷江冷杉(Abies faxoniana)倒木不同结构(心材、边材和树皮)样品采集,分析其总酚和缩合单宁含量。结果表明:树皮总酚和缩合单宁含量显著高于心材和边材,树皮总酚和缩合单宁含量随腐解等级变化差异不显著;森林林窗对Ⅲ-V腐解等级心材和边材总酚含量具有显著影响,但对心材和边材缩合单宁影响差异不显著,林窗对倒木树皮总酚和缩合单宁含量影响差异极显著且两者含量特征均表现为林窗 > 林缘 > 林下;附生植物去除处理降低了心材缩合单宁和边材总酚含量,增加了倒木边材缩合单宁含量。附生植物去除处理对树皮影响和林窗位置存在交互作用,林缘和林下的倒木附生植物去除显著降低了树皮总酚和缩合单宁含量。此外,不同林窗位置的温度差异是导致树皮总酚和缩合单宁含量变化的主要原因,附生植物去除对倒木pH的影响也可能是影响倒木总酚和缩合单宁含量的原因之一。由此可见,高山森林林窗更新及附生植物生长会显著影响倒木难分解物质含量变化特征,为进一步了解倒木分解过程在养分循环及对环境的响应提供了新的角度。  相似文献

碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)生态化学计量比是生态系统过程与功能的重要特征, 开展种群生态化学计量学研究可以细化植物种群化学计量学内容, 确定限制植物生长的元素类型, 同时为大尺度模型的发展提供数据基础。为阐明我国毛竹(Phyllostachys edulis)林C、N、P化学计量学特征, 通过对毛竹主要产区文献数据的搜集整理与分析, 探索我国毛竹林“植物-土壤-凋落物”系统C、N、P及C:N、C:P、N:P生态化学计量特征, 以及不同组分生态化学计量特征与经纬度之间的关系。结果表明: 1)我国毛竹林叶片C含量为478.30 mg·g-1, N含量为22.20 mg·g-1, P含量为1.90 mg·g-1, C:N为26.80, C:P为299.60, N:P为14.40; 毛竹林0-20 cm土层C含量为21.53 mg·g-1, N含量为1.66 mg·g-1, P含量0.41 mg·g-1, C:N为14.20, C:P为66.74, N:P为4.28; 毛竹凋落物C含量为438.49 mg·g-1, N含量为13.39 mg·g-1, P含量为0.86 mg·g-1, C:N为22.53, C:P为665.67, N:P为22.55。2)毛竹林“植物-土壤-凋落物”系统中, C:N表现为: 叶片>凋落物>土壤, C:P和N:P均表现为: 凋落物>叶片>土壤, 叶片N、P再吸收率分别为39.68%和54.74%, 我国毛竹林生长发育总体上可能受到P限制或者N和P两种元素的双重限制。3)纬度梯度: 叶片N含量、N:P随纬度增加而增加, C:N随纬度增加而降低。经度梯度: 叶片N:P随经度增加而增加, P含量、C:N随经度增加而降低; 土壤C:N随经度增加而增加, N含量随经度增加而降低; 凋落物N含量随经度增加而降低。4)叶片N含量与年平均气温和年降水量均存在明显负相关关系, 但对温度的响应比降水更敏感, 叶片N含量与纬度呈正相关关系, 支持“温度-植物生理假说”, 反映了植物对自然环境的适应。  相似文献

为探究漓江流域岩溶区檵木群落不同恢复阶段凋落物的分解情况,运用凋落物袋法研究其凋落物分解初期动态。结果表明:经过1a的分解,檵木群落凋落物失重大小顺序为:灌木阶段乔灌阶段乔林阶段。檵木群落灌木阶段、乔灌阶段和乔林阶段凋落物分解50%所需的时间分别为1.28a、1.38a、1.41a,分解95%所需的时间分别为5.54a、5.97a和6.09a。经过1a的分解,凋落物养分动态变化为:灌木阶段和乔灌阶段C含量总体上升,乔林阶段C含量总体下降;3个恢复阶段N和纤维素含量总体上升;灌木阶段和乔林阶段P含量总体下降,乔灌阶段P含量总体上升;灌木阶段木质素含量总体上升,而乔灌阶段和乔林阶段木质素含量总体下降。相关分析表明,灌木阶段凋落物分解速率分别与C,N,P,C/P,N/P之间呈显著或极显著相关性,乔灌阶段凋落物分解速率与N和木质素/N之间呈显著或极显著相关性,乔林阶段凋落物分解速率分别与N,纤维素、C/N和木质素/N之间呈显著或极显著相关性。  相似文献

水力结构是植物应对环境形成的与水分运输相关的形态策略.探索不同演替阶段和群落不同高度层植物的水力结构特征, 有助于理解植物的水分运输和利用策略.该研究以浙江天童常绿阔叶林演替前中后期群落的上层木(占据林冠层的树种)和下层木(灌木层物种)为对象, 测定了演替共有种(至少存在于两个演替阶段的物种)和更替种(仅存在于某一演替阶段的物种)的枝边材比导率,叶比导率和胡伯尔值, 以及边材疏导面积,末端枝总叶面积和枝条水势, 分析植物水力结构在群落上层木和下层木间以及在演替阶段间的差异, 及其与枝叶性状的相关关系.结果显示: (1)上层木植物边材比导率和叶比导率显著高于下层木植物(p < 0.05); (2)上层木和下层木的边材比导率与叶比导率在演替阶段间均无显著差异(p > 0.05); 上层木的胡伯尔值在演替阶段间无显著差异, 下层木的胡伯尔值随演替显著下降(p < 0.05); (3)上层木共有种仅边材比导率随演替进行显著降低(p < 0.05), 更替种的3个水力结构参数在演替阶段间无显著差异; 下层木共有种水力结构参数在演替阶段间无明显差异, 更替种仅胡伯尔值随演替减小(p < 0.05); (4)植物边材比导率与枝疏导面积和末端枝所支撑的总叶面积显著正相关(p < 0.01), 胡伯尔值与枝条水势及末端枝总叶面积显著负相关(p < 0.01).以上结果表明: 天童常绿阔叶林演替各阶段上层木比下层木具有更大的输水能力和效率; 随着演替进行, 上层木与下层木的共有种和更替种边材比导率的相反变化表明上层木水力结构的变化可能由微生境变化引起, 而下层木水力结构特征的变化可能由物种更替造成.  相似文献

研究水生植物腐烂分解过程及其养分动态对认识水生态系统物质循环过程具有重要意义。通过室内植物分解模拟试验,对6种水生植物的腐解过程及腐解残余物成分的变化进行了比较研究。结果表明,在64 d的腐解过程中,浮叶植物的分解速率最快,沉水植物其次,挺水植物最慢;同种植物的分解速率及残余物成分变化在不同生物量密度组间存在一定差异,但总体趋势一致。分解过程中,植物残余物中P、纤维素、木质素含量的变化趋势种间差异较小,总体上P含量先迅速下降后缓慢上升,纤维素含量先下降后趋于稳定,木质素含量先上升后趋于稳定;植物残余物中C、N、半纤维素含量在分解初期种间的变化趋势不同,而分解后期则均为C含量上升,N、半纤维素含量趋于稳定。相关性分析结果表明,总体上,在整个分解周期中,初始N、P含量越大分解越快,初始纤维素、半纤维素、木质素含量、C/N、C/P、木质素/N等越大分解越慢;植物腐解不同阶段的质量指标对分解速率的影响有所不同,在分解前期,残余物中N含量越高分解越快,半纤维素含量、C/N、木质素/N越高,分解越慢,而后期木质素含量越高分解越慢,其它因子影响较小。  相似文献

研究森林植被、枯落物和土壤的氮(N)磷(P)化学计量关系对于理解生态系统各组分的相互作用和养分循环具有重要意义。该研究对陕西省不同类型森林生态系统植被、枯落物和土壤的N和P含量及其化学计量关系进行了研究分析。结果表明: 1)森林生态系统各组分的N、P化学计量特征存在显著差异(p < 0.05), N、P含量均以林下灌草层植物和枯落物层较高, 乔木层植物和土壤层较低; N:P值则稍有不同, 以枯落物层最高, 土壤层最低, 其他各层差异不显著; 各组分N、P含量和N:P值分别为0.72-11.99 mg·g-1、0.47-1.07 mg·g-1和1.86-14.84。0-1 m土层内N含量、N:P值均随土层加深而降低(p < 0.05), P含量则不随土层发生明显变化。2)各组分N、P含量和N:P值多表现为阔叶林高于针叶林, 但其差异不显著。3)生态系统同一组分内, N、P含量间极显著正相关, N、P含量与N:P值分别呈极显著正相关、负相关关系, 但是土壤层内N、P含量无显著相关关系。各组分间, 枯落物层与乔木层、草本层和土壤层的N、P含量和N:P值也均极显著正相关, 而枯落物层与灌木层植物无显著相关关系。4)生态系统各组分N、P含量和N:P值随空间变化表现不尽一致, 总体上呈稳态。该文通过对N、P化学计量特征的研究, 揭示了森林生态系统植被、枯落物和土壤组分间所存在的养分循环联系, 这些联系中也表现出分异特征, 而分异可能由各自所执行的不同生态功能所致。  相似文献

为揭示植被恢复过程中生态系统的养分循环机制及植物的生存策略, 根据亚热带森林群落演替过程, 采用空间代替时间方法, 以湘中丘陵区地域相邻、环境条件基本一致的檵木(Loropetalum chinensis) +南烛(Vaccinium bracteatu) +杜鹃(Rhododendron mariesii)灌草丛(LVR)、檵木+杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata) +白栎(Quercus fabri)灌木林(LCQ)、马尾松(Pinus massoniana) +柯(Lithocarpus glaber) +檵木针阔混交林(PLL)、柯+红淡比(Cleyera japonica) +青冈(Cyclobalanopsis Glauca)常绿阔叶林(LCC)作为一个恢复系列, 设置固定样地, 采集植物叶片、未分解层凋落物和0-30 cm土壤样品, 测定有机碳(C)、全氮(N)、全磷(P)含量及其化学计量比, 运用异速生长关系、养分利用效率和再吸收效率分析植物对环境变化的响应和养分利用策略。结果表明: (1)随着植被恢复, 叶片C:N、C:P、N:P显著下降, 而叶片C、N、P含量和土壤C、N含量、C:P、N:P显著增加, 其中LCC植物叶片C、N含量, 土壤C、N含量及其N:P, PLL植物叶片P含量, 土壤C:P显著高于其他3个恢复阶段, 各恢复阶段植物叶片N:P > 20, 植物生长受P限制; 凋落物C、N、P含量及其化学计量比波动较大。(2)凋落物与叶片、土壤的化学计量特征之间的相关关系较弱, 叶片与土壤的化学计量特征之间具有显著相关关系, 其中叶片C、N、P含量与土壤C、N含量、C:N (除叶片C、N含量外)、C:P、N:P呈显著正相关关系; 叶片C:N与土壤C、N含量、C:P、N:P, 叶片C:P与土壤C含量、C:N、C:P, 叶片N:P与土壤C:N呈显著负相关关系。(3)植被恢复过程中, 叶片N、P之间具有显著异速生长关系, 异速生长指数为1.45, 叶片N、P的利用效率下降, 对N、P的再吸收效率增加, LCC叶片N利用效率最低, PLL叶片P利用效率最低而N、P再吸收效率最高。(4)叶片N含量内稳态弱, 而P含量具有较高的内稳态, 在土壤低P限制下植物能保持P平衡。植被恢复显著影响叶片、凋落物、土壤C、N、P含量及其化学计量比, 叶片与土壤之间C、N、P含量及化学计量比呈显著相关关系, 植物通过降低养分利用效率和提高养分再吸收效率适应土壤养分的变化, 叶片-凋落物-土壤系统的N、P循环随着植被恢复逐渐达到“化学计量平衡”。  相似文献

Foot-and-mouth disease virus, type A, strain 119, propagated in cultures of calf kidney cells and in the tongue epithelium of cattle was used. The process of freeze-drying was conducted in two cycles on unit volumes of 4 ml in Pyrex ampoules, averaging 150 ampoules per run, and was studied separately from the problems of storage. Ampoules containing freeze-dried virus were flame-sealed for either immediate study or storage at 4 C for later reference. Tissue-culture virus dried with various additives had a mean processing loss of 0.8 log LD50 per ml for six different preparations. Virus freeze-dried in tissue suspension had a mean loss of 0.8 log LD50 per ml for three different preparations. A second set of preparations was processed and specifically studied for storage quality at 4 C. The virus in 14 freeze-dried tissue-culture preparations had a mean loss of 0.75 log LD50 per ml while stored at 4 C for 1 year. Virus in four freeze-dried tissue suspensions had a mean loss of 0.05 log LD50 per ml held at 4 C for 1 year. None of the specific additives used for conservation of the virus during the freeze-drying process or during storage at 4 C contributed significantly to the stability of the virus preparations over and above that observed with the normal growth medium of the tissue culture or the ordinary diluents used in making suspensions of tissue virus.  相似文献

AIMS: To investigate the combined effect of high-pressure treatments (HPT) and milk inoculation with bacteriocin-producing lactic acid bacteria (BP-LAB) on the survival of Staphylococcus aureus during ripening of raw milk cheese. METHODS AND RESULTS: Cheeses were manufactured from raw milk artificially contaminated with S. aureus at ca 5 log CFU ml(-1), a commercial starter culture and one of seven strains of BP-LAB, added as adjuncts at 0.1%. HPT of cheeses were performed on days 2 or 50 at 300 MPa (10 degrees C, 10 min) or 500 MPa (10 degrees C, 5 min). On day 3, S. aureus counts were 6.46 log CFU g(-1) in control cheese. Milk inoculation with different BP-LAB lowered S. aureus counts on day 3 when compared with control cheese by up to 0.46 log CFU g(-1), HPT at 300 MPa on day 2 by 0.45 log CFU g(-1) and HPT at 500 MPa on day 2 by 2.43 log CFU g(-1). Combinations of BP-LAB with HPT at 300 and 500 MPa on day 2 lowered S. aureus counts on day 3 by up to 1.02 and 4.00 log CFU g(-1) respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The combined effect of milk inoculation with some of the BP-LAB tested and HPT of cheese on S. aureus inactivation was synergistic. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: The combination of HPT at lower pressures with BP-LAB inoculation is a feasible system to improve cheese safety in case of deleterious effects on cheese quality caused by HPT at higher pressures.  相似文献

The effect of initial quality of fish on postirradiation (100 krad) changes in the bacterial flora of haddock fillets during aerobic storage at 3 C has been investigated, with emphasis on the Pseudomonas and Achromobacter groups. The quality was related to the length of time the eviscerated fish had been stored in ice prior to filleting. Increased numbers of organisms, in particular Pseudomonas putrefaciens, were found initially on fillets cut from older fish. Pseudomonads were reduced by 2 to 3 log orders by irradiation, and achromobacters and gram-positive isolates predominated in the immediate postirradiation flora. Little difference could be detected in either types or relative proportions of organisms occurring during storage of unirradiated fish of different quality. Pseudomonads outgrew achromobacters and dominated the spoilage flora in all cases. After spoilage, however, the growth rate of pseudomonads declined markedly. In irradiated fish, achromobacters predominated throughout storage. In fish of better initial quality, bacterial numbers were 1 to 2 log orders higher at spoilage than in their unirradiated counterparts and in the poorer quality of irradiated samples. The increased number of organisms was accompanied by a radical change in the character of the predominant achromobacters. Pseudomonads were found to increase in numbers during storage of irradiated fish, in particular in poorer quality fish on which they were initially present in higher numbers. Detection of pseudomonads, even when present in high numbers, was found to be limited by the identification techniques normally used.  相似文献

Using a previously developed filter adsorption technique, the inactivation of a human rotavirus, a coxsackievirus B5, and a bovine parvovirus was monitored during sludge treatment processes. During conventional anaerobic mesophilic digestion at 35 to 36 degrees C, only minor inactivation of all three viruses occurred. The k' values measured were 0.314 log10 unit/day for rotavirus, 0.475 log10 unit/day for coxsackievirus B5, and 0.944 log10 unit/day for parvovirus. However, anaerobic thermophilic digestion at 54 to 56 degrees C led to rapid inactivation of rotavirus (k' greater than 8.5 log10 units/h) and of coxsackievirus B5 (k' greater than 0.93 log10 unit/min). Similarly, aerobic thermophilic fermentation at 60 to 61 degrees C rapidly inactivated rotavirus (k' = 0.75 log10 unit/min) and coxsackievirus B5 (k' greater than 1.67 log10 units/min). Infectivity of parvovirus, however, was only reduced by 0.213 log10 unit/h during anaerobic thermophilic digestion and by 0.353 log10 unit/h during aerobic thermophilic fermentation. Furthermore, pasteurization at 70 degrees C for 30 min inactivated the parvovirus by 0.72 log10 unit/30 min. In all experiments the contribution of temperature to the total inactivation was determined separately and was found to be predominant at process temperatures above 54 degrees C. In conclusion, the most favorable treatment to render sludge hygienically safe from the virological point of view would be a thermal treatment (60 degrees C) to inactivate thermolabile viruses, followed by an anaerobic mesophilic digestion to eliminate thermostable viruses that are more sensitive to chemical and microbial inactivations.  相似文献

Survival of 5 strains of Campylobacter jejuni/coli in ground beef liver stored at 4° C and at –20° C was studied. After 6 days of storage at 4° C the beef liver was spoiled, which was indicated by APG log 7.25 and lactobacilli count log 7.0. During this storage Campylobacter counts decreased only slightly. After 12 weeks of storage at –20° C Campylobacter counts decreased by 2–3 logs in frozen ground beef liver. Survival of 4 strains of C. jejuni/coli on frozen broiler carcasses was also studied. Two inoculation levels, 103–104/g and 104–105/g were used. On frozen broiler carcasses Campylobacter counts decreased by 0.5–2.0 logs during 12 weeks at –20° C.  相似文献

AIMS: To examine the effect of subatmospheric steam treatment on total viable counts (TVCs) on bovine hide and on the quality of derived leather. METHODS AND RESULTS: Pieces of bovine hide were heated to 75 degrees C (+/-2 degrees C) (n = 3) or 80 degrees C (+/-2 degrees C) (n = 3) for periods of 1, 10 or 20 s by the application of steam at subatmospheric pressure in a laboratory scale apparatus. Treated hide pieces and untreated controls were tanned and the quality of leather was assessed. Treatment at 80 degrees C (T80) reduced the TVC on hide pieces by 2.95 (1 s), 3.33 (10 s) and 3.99 (20 s) log10 CFU cm-2 (P > 0.05). Treatment at 75 degrees C (T75) reduced the TVC on hide pieces by 1.87 (1 s), 2.51 (10 s) and 2.56 (20 s) log10 CFU cm-2 (P > 0.05). The grain on all treated hides was damaged resulting in sueding on derived leather. Sueding was observed on 100% of surfaces from T80-treated samples and on 18 (1 s) to 84% (20 s) of the surfaces of T75 samples. CONCLUSIONS: The magnitude of TVC reductions achieved using T75 and T80 could limit the impact and scale of contamination transfer to the carcass during dehiding. However, because of the sueding observed on derived leather, it is unlikely that either T75 or T80 would be a commercially valid operation during routine slaughter operations. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: Hide decontamination would provide an important critical control point for beef processing, however there are currently no commercially available treatments.  相似文献

AIMS: The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of Listeria monocytogenes to grow in mushrooms packaged in two different types of PVC films when stored at 4 degrees C and 10 degrees C. METHODS AND RESULTS: Mushrooms were packed in two polymeric films (perforated and nonperforated PVC) and stored at 4 degrees C and 10 degrees C. The carbon dioxide and oxygen content inside the packages, aerobic mesophiles, psychrotrophs, Pseudomonas spp., Listeria monocytogenes, faecal coliforms, Escherichia coli, anaerobic spores and major sensory factors were determined. The mushrooms packaged in nonperforated film and stored at 4 degrees C had the most desirable quality parameters (texture, development stage and absence of moulds). Listeria monocytogenes was able to grow at 4 degrees C and 10 degrees C in inoculated mushrooms packaged in perforated and nonperforated films between 1 and 2 log units during the first 48 h. After 10 d of storage, the populations of L. monocytogenes were higher in mushrooms packaged in nonperforated film and stored at 10 degrees C. CONCLUSIONS: MAP followed by storage at 4 degrees C or 10 degrees C extends the shelf life by maintaining an acceptable appearance, but allows the growth and survival of L. monocytogenes. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: According to this study additional hurdles must be studied in order to prevent the growth of L. monocytogenes.  相似文献

Rose Coloured Starlings (Sturnus roseus) flew repeatedly for several hours in a wind tunnel while undergoing spontaneous variation in body mass. The treatments were as follows: flying unrestrained (U), with a control harness of 1.2% of their body mass (C), or with a harness of 7.4% of their body mass, which was either applied immediately before the flight (LS) or at least 9 days in advance (LL). Energy expenditure during flight (ef in W) was measured with the Doubly Labelled Water method. Flight costs in L(S) and LL were not significantly different and therefore were pooled (L). The harness itself did not affect ef, i.e. U and C flights were not different. ef was allometrically related with body mass m (in g). The slopes were not significantly different between the treatments, but ef was increased by 5.4% in L compared to C flights (log10(ef) = 0.050 + 0.47 x log10(m) for C, and log10(ef) = 0.073 + 0.47 x log10(m) for L). The difference in ef between C, LS and LL was best explained by taking the transported mass m transp (in g) instead of m into account (log10(ef) = -0.08 + 0.54 x log10(m transp)). Flight costs increased to a lesser extent than expected from interspecific allometric comparison or aerodynamic theory, regardless of whether the increase in mass occurred naturally or artificially. We did not observe an effect of treatment on breast muscle size and wingbeat frequency. We propose that the relatively low costs at a high mass are rather a consequence of immediate adjustments in physiology and/or flight behaviour than of long-term adaptations.  相似文献
