河口涨潮槽的研究进展   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
河口涨潮槽是河口的重要地貌单元。对河口涨潮槽的发育过程与演化规律的研究在理论上可以丰富河口动力地貌的内容,而在实践上对港口和通航等具有重要的意义。文章认为河口涨潮槽不仅指河口涨潮流作用下形成的冲刷槽,还包括涨潮冲刷坑、涨潮冲刷槽和涨湖水道。国内外关于河口涨潮槽研究较为薄弱,研究内容多集中于涨潮槽的几何形态、涨落槽优势流判别和悬沙输移等方面,定性研究较多,缺乏全面而系统的定量研究,尤其缺乏成因机制方面的深入研究和沉积环境的研究。长江口涨潮槽种类较多,具有一定的研究基础,对其进行系统全面的研究具有重要的意义。  相似文献

A wave model for the Great Barrier Reef   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A new wind wave generation model, WAMGBR, is presented that has been adapted from WAM especially for use in the complex geometry of the Great Barrier Reef. A technique (reef parameterization) has been presented that incorporates sub-grid scale dissipation caused by coral reefs. Three other improvements to WAM have been proposed. An explicit/implicit finite difference scheme has been implemented that allows for more efficient modelling (longer time steps) while maintaining diffusive characteristics that are at least as good as those of WAM. An offset in discrete angles creates more uniform diffusive characteristics. And, a transformed spherical coordinate system allows for more efficient grid sizes and smaller grid dependent refraction. Comparisons between modelling techniques and between model and measured data show that WAMGBR produces very good results in the difficult challenge of modelling both non-cyclonic and tropical cyclone waves in the geographically complex environment of the Great Barrier Reef.  相似文献

Field measurements of vertical profiles of velocity and salinity along with turbulence measurements have been used to examine the effect of density gradients on the flow structure in the Great Ouse estuary. During the flood tide shear and longitudinal density gradients cause well mixed conditions in the lower part of the water column. In the upper part of the water column secondary flow effects induced by transverse density gradients, and acceleration effects can contribute to the formation of stable vertical density gradients. On the ebb tide the vertical density gradient appears to be the dominant factor which determines the structure of the flow. The velocity and shear stress data show the evidence of large scale motions which are consistent with the postulated flood and ebb flow structures.  相似文献

New data collected between the northernmost tip of the East Pacific rise (18°05'N, 105°35'W) and the Middle America trench provide evidence that the seafloor, which lacks significant sedimentary cover, has a typical spreading-derived abyssal hill topography. The tectonic fabric of this seafloor is concave to the west, as it is today at the tip of the East Pacific rise. Farther to the east, at the outer wall of the trench, the seafloor topography exhibits a north-south trending fabric. We suggest that this fabric originated along the East Pacific rise, as it reached the trench and possibly subducted beneath the North America plate prior to the development of the complex connection of the East Pacific rise with the Rivera transform.  相似文献

首次将多维联合概率理论应用到三峡大坝设计洪水的风险分析,并用随机模拟方法(ISPUD)对四维联合概率分布进行了求解,得出在长江上游干流及主要支流来水量出现的不同组合和最不利组合情况下,相应三峡大坝不同联合重现期的设计洪水。可用于三峡工程的风险分析及防洪调度。  相似文献

利用美国国家环境预报中心与美国国家大气研究中心 (NCEP/ NCAR)再分析资料及山东省 196 1~ 1998年 16个代表站的 3~ 5月降水实测资料 ,对山东春季旱年与涝年进行划分并对其对应的大气环流形势进行了分析。结果表明 ,山东春季涝年与旱年的大气环流形势存在明显的差异 ,东亚大槽的异常减弱、乌拉尔地区高度场的明显降低是造成山东春季降水异常偏多的主要原因 ;孟加拉湾的水汽输送是山东地区春季降水的重要水汽条件。  相似文献

Nanxiaohong and Nangang main south channel are chosen as the typical flood and ebb channels. Hydrodynamics analysis based on field hydrological and sediment data is conducted with Gao-Collins model to analyse sediment transport trends. Also, the grain size distribution analysis of the bottom sediment sampled in Sep. 2001 is used as the base of the analysis. The result shows that the sediment in Nanxiaohong is from the rive mouth area. The sediment transports upwards with the flood flow which is stronger than the ebb flow, i.e., in the direction of SE-WN. The sediment in main south channel comes from upward. They transport downwards with the ebb flow. which is stronger than the flood flow, i.e., in the direction of WN-SE. The directions, sources and mechanism of sediment transport are identified according to comprehensive analyses of the observed data on hydrodynamics and sediment.  相似文献

长江口涨、落潮槽底沙输移趋势探讨   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
选择长江口南港南小泓和南港主槽作为典型涨、落潮槽为研究对象,以2001年9月所采底沙的颗粒分析资料为根据,并结合实测水文、泥沙资料进行水动力分析,运用Gao-Collins粒径趋势分析模型分析了底沙输移趋势,结果表明:南小泓的底沙主要是来自口门附近,由于涨潮流强于落潮流而使底沙向上游输移,即SE—NW方向,而南港主槽的底沙主要来自上游,由于落潮流强于涨潮流而使泥沙向下游输移,即NW—SE方向。  相似文献

In the absence of consensus on the quantity and level of zoning protection required for coral reef and lagoon ecosystems, which process can guide decision makers? The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) worked with experts in a collaborative process to develop a set of Biophysical Operational Principles to guide the design of a network of no-take areas. First, 82 expert scientists were asked to provide data and advice on the physical, biological and ecological dimensions of the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem. They recommended that an independent Scientific Steering Committee (the Committee) was set up. How this Committee worked successfully with the GBRMPA staff is detailed here in a manner to enable other resource managers to adopt the process if they are working in data-limited marine environments.  相似文献
